Ó, balgatag galaták, ki igézett meg titeket, akiknek szeme előtt Jézus Krisztust úgy írtuk le, mintha közöttetek feszítették volna meg?

Óh balgatag Galátziabeliek, kicsoda ígézett meg titeket, hogy ne engedelmeskedjetek az igazságnak, kiknek szemei előtt a Jézus Krisztus úgy íratott le, [mintha] ti köztetek feszíttetett [volna] meg?

O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

O, galateni nechibzuiţi! Cine v-a fermecat pe voi, înaintea ochilor cărora a fost zugrăvit Isus Hristos ca răstignit?

O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified.

Csak azt szeretném megtudni tőletek, hogy a törvény cselekedeteiből kaptátok-e a Lelket vagy a hit hallásából?

Csak azt akarom megtudni tőletek: a törvény cselekedeteiből kaptátok-é a Lelket, avagy a hit hallásából?

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Iată numai ce voiesc să ştiu de la voi: prin faptele Legii aţi primit voi Duhul ori prin auzirea credinţei?

Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?

Ennyire balgatagok vagytok? Amit Lélekben kezdtetek el, most testben fejeznétek be?

Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Sunteţi aşa de nechibzuiţi? După ce aţi început prin Duhul, vreţi acum să sfârşiţi prin firea pământească?

Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

Annyit szenvedtetek hiába? Ha ugyan hiába.

Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

În zadar aţi suferit voi atât de mult? Dacă în adevăr, e în zadar!

Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain?

Tehát az, aki a Lelket adja nektek, és hatalmas erőkkel munkálkodik közöttetek, a törvény cselekedeteiből teszi vagy a hit hallása által?

Annakokáért, a ki a Lelket szolgáltatja néktek, és hatalmas dolgokat művel bennetek, a törvény cselekedeteiből, vagy a hit hallásából [cselekeszi-é?]

He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Cel ce vă dă Duhul şi face minuni printre voi le face oare prin faptele Legii sau prin auzirea credinţei?

Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith—

Úgy, amint Ábrahám is hitt Istennek, aki ezt igazságul számította be neki.

Miképen Ábrahám hitt az Istennek, és tulajdoníttatott néki igazságul.

Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Tot aşa şi „Avraam a crezut pe Dumnezeu, şi credinţa aceasta i-a fost socotită ca neprihănire.”

just as Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”?

Értsétek meg tehát, hogy akik hitből vannak, azok Ábrahám fiai.

Értsétek meg tehát, hogy a kik hitből vannak, azok az Ábrahám fiai.

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Înţelegeţi şi voi, dar, că fii ai lui Avraam sunt cei ce au credinţă.

Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham.

Mivel pedig az Írás előre látta, hogy Isten hitből fogja megigazítani a pogányokat, előre hirdette az evangéliumot Ábrahámnak: Tebenned fog áldást nyerni minden nép.

Előre látván pedig az Írás, hogy Isten hitből fogja megigazítani a pogányokat, eleve hirdette Ábrahámnak, hogy: Te benned fognak megáldatni minden népek.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Scriptura, de asemenea, fiindcă prevedea că Dumnezeu va socoti neprihănite pe Neamuri, prin credinţă, a vestit mai dinainte lui Avraam această veste bună: „Toate neamurile vor fi binecuvântate în tine.”

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Aşa că cei ce se bizuie pe credinţă sunt binecuvântaţi împreună cu Avraam cel credincios.

So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Mert a törvény cselekedeteiben bízók átok alatt vannak, amint meg van írva: Átkozott mindenki, aki nem marad meg mindazokban, amik meg vannak írva a törvény könyvében, hogy azokat cselekedje.

Mert a kik törvény cselekedeteiből vannak, átok alatt vannak; minthogy meg van írva: Átkozott minden, a ki meg nem marad mindazokban, a mik megirattak a törvény könyvében, hogy azokat cselekedje.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Căci toţi cei ce se bizuie pe faptele Legii sunt sub blestem; pentru că este scris: „Blestemat este oricine nu stăruie în toate lucrurile scrise în cartea Legii, ca să le facă.”

For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Şi că nimeni nu este socotit neprihănit înaintea lui Dumnezeu, prin Lege, este învederat, căci „cel neprihănit prin credinţă va trăi.”

Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”

A törvény pedig nincs hitből, hanem aki cselekszi azokat, élni fog általa.

A törvény pedig nincs hitből, hanem a mely ember cselekeszi azokat, élni fog azok által.

And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Însă Legea nu se întemeiază pe credinţă; ci ea zice: „Cine va face aceste lucruri va trăi prin ele.”

But the law is not of faith, rather “The one who does them shall live by them.”

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Hristos ne-a răscumpărat din blestemul Legii, făcându-Se blestem pentru noi – fiindcă este scris: „Blestemat e oricine este atârnat pe lemn” –

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—

azért, hogy Ábrahám áldása Krisztus Jézusban a pogányoké legyen, hogy a Lélek ígéretét hit által megkapjuk.

Hogy az Ábrahám áldása Krisztus Jézusban legyen a pogányokon, hogy a Lélek ígéretét elnyerjük hit által.

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

pentru ca binecuvântarea vestită lui Avraam să vină peste Neamuri, în Hristos Isus, aşa ca, prin credinţă, noi să primim Duhul făgăduit.

so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.

Testvéreim, emberi módon szólok. Még az ember megerősített végrendeletét sem teheti senki érvénytelenné, és hozzá sem toldhat.

Atyámfiai! ember szerint szólok. Lám az embernek megerősített testámentomát senki erőtelenné nem teszi, sem ahhoz hozzá nem ád.

Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.

Fraţilor, (vorbesc în felul oamenilor) un testament, chiar al unui om, odată întărit, totuşi nimeni nu-l desfiinţează, nici nu-i mai adaugă ceva.

To give a human example, brothers: even with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified.

Az ígéretek pedig Ábrahámnak és az ő utódának adattak. Nem azt mondja: „és az ő utódainak”, mint soknak, hanem csak egynek: „és a te utódodnak”, aki a Krisztus.

Az ígéretek pedig Ábrahámnak adattak és az ő magvának. Nem mondja: És a magvaknak, mint sokról; hanem mint egyről. És a te magodnak, a ki a Krisztus.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Acum, făgăduinţele au fost făcute „lui Avraam şi seminţei lui.” Nu zice: „şi seminţelor” (ca şi cum ar fi vorba de mai multe), ci ca şi cum ar fi vorba numai de una: „şi seminţei tale”, adică Hristos.

Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.

Azt mondom pedig, hogy azt a szövetséget, amelyet Isten korábban megerősített, a négyszázharminc esztendő múlva keletkezett törvény nem teszi érvénytelenné, hogy megsemmisítse az ígéretet.

Ezt mondom pedig, hogy a kötést, melyet Isten először megerősített a Krisztusra nézve, a négyszázharmincz esztendő multán keletkezett törvény nem teszi erőtelenné, hogy megsemmisítse az ígéretet.

And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

Iată ce vreau să zic: un testament pe care l-a întărit Dumnezeu mai înainte, nu poate fi desfiinţat, aşa ca făgăduinţa să fie nimicită de Legea venită după patru sute treizeci de ani.

This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void.

Mert ha a törvényből van az örökség, akkor többé nem ígéretből, Ábrahámnak pedig ígéret által ajándékozta azt Isten.

For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

Căci, dacă moştenirea ar veni din Lege, nu mai vine din făgăduinţă; şi Dumnezeu printr-o făgăduinţă a dat-o lui Avraam.

For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but God gave it to Abraham by a promise.

Mi tehát a törvény? A bűnök miatt adatott, amíg eljön az utód, akinek az ígéret szól, és angyalok által közbenjárón keresztül rendeltetett.

Micsoda tehát a törvény? A bűnök okáért adatott, a míg eljő a Mag, a kinek tétetett az ígéret; rendeltetvén angyalok által, közbenjáró kezében.

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Atunci pentru ce este Legea? Ea a fost adăugată din pricina călcărilor de lege, până când avea să vină „Sămânţa” căreia Îi fusese făcută făgăduinţa; şi a fost dată prin îngeri, prin mâna unui mijlocitor.

Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made, and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.

Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

Now an intermediary implies more than one, but God is one.

A törvény tehát Isten ígéretei ellen van? Semmiképpen! Mert ha olyan törvény adatott volna, amely képes megeleveníteni, valóban a törvényből volna az igazság.

A törvény tehát az Isten ígéretei ellen van-é? Távol legyen! Mert ha olyan törvény adatott volna, a mely képes megeleveníteni, valóban a törvényből volna az igazság.

Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

Atunci oare Legea este împotriva făgăduinţelor lui Dumnezeu? Nicidecum! Dacă s-ar fi dat o Lege care să poată da viaţa, într-adevăr, neprihănirea ar veni din Lege.

Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law.

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Înainte de venirea credinţei, noi eram sub paza Legii, închişi pentru credinţa care trebuia să fie descoperită.

Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed.

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.

But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Nincs zsidó, sem görög, nincs szolga, sem szabad, nincs férfi, sem nő, mert ti mindnyájan egyek vagytok Krisztus Jézusban.

Nincs zsidó, sem görög; nincs szolga, sem szabad; nincs férfi, sem nő; mert ti mindnyájan egyek vagytok a Krisztus Jézusban.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Nu mai este nici iudeu, nici grec; nu mai este nici rob, nici slobod; nu mai este nici parte bărbătească, nici parte femeiască, fiindcă toţi sunteţi una în Hristos Isus.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Ha pedig Krisztuséi vagytok, akkor Ábrahám utódai és ígéret szerint örökösök vagytok.

Ha pedig Krisztuséi vagytok, tehát az Ábrahám magva vagytok, és ígéret szerint örökösök.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Şi, dacă sunteţi ai lui Hristos, sunteţi „sămânţa” lui Avraam, moştenitori prin făgăduinţă.

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.
