Azután tizennégy esztendő múlva ismét felmentem Jeruzsálembe Barnabással együtt, és magammal vittem Tituszt is.

Azután tizennégy esztendő mulva ismét fölmentem Jeruzsálembe Barnabással együtt, elvivén Titust is.

Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.

După paisprezece ani, m-am suit din nou la Ierusalim împreună cu Barnaba; şi am luat cu mine şi pe Tit.

Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me.

Kijelentés következtében mentem fel, és eléjük tártam az evangéliumot, amelyet a pogányok között hirdetek, de külön a tekintélyeseknek, hogy valami módon hiábavaló ne legyen futásom.

Fölmentem pedig kijelentés következtében és eléjök adtam az evangyéliomot, melyet hirdetek a pogányok között, de külön a tekintélyeseknek, hogy valami módon hiába ne fussak, avagy ne futottam légyen.

And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

M-am suit, în urma unei descoperiri, şi le-am arătat Evanghelia pe care o propovăduiesc eu între Neamuri, îndeosebi celor mai cu vază, ca nu cumva să alerg sau să fi alergat în zadar.

I went up because of a revelation and set before them (though privately before those who seemed influential) the gospel that I proclaim among the Gentiles, in order to make sure I was not running or had not run in vain.

De még a velem levő Tituszt sem kényszerítette senki körülmetélkedésre, noha görög volt,

De még a velem levő Titus sem kényszeríttetett a körülmetélkedésre, noha görög vala,

But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

Nici chiar Tit, care era cu mine, măcar că era grec, n-a fost silit să se taie împrejur

But even Titus, who was with me, was not forced to be circumcised, though he was a Greek.

még a belopakodott hamis testvérekért sem, akik alattomban közénk lopóztak, hogy kikémleljék szabadságunkat, amelyet Krisztus Jézusban kaptunk, és így minket szolgává tegyenek.

Tudniillik a belopózkodott hamis atyafiakért, a kik alattomban közénk jöttek, hogy kikémleljék a mi szabadságunkat, melylyel bírunk a Krisztus Jézusban, hogy minket szolgákká tegyenek:

And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

din pricina fraţilor mincinoşi, furişaţi şi strecuraţi printre noi ca să pândească slobozenia pe care o avem în Hristos Isus, cu gând să ne aducă la robie;

Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in—who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into slavery—

Kiknek egy pillanatra sem adtuk meg magunkat, hogy az evangyéliom igazsága megmaradjon számotokra.

To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

noi nu ne-am supus şi nu ne-am potrivit lor nicio clipă măcar, pentru ca adevărul Evangheliei să rămână cu voi.

to them we did not yield in submission even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you.

Azok, akiket tekintélyeseknek tartanak – hogy régen mik voltak, azzal nem törődöm, hiszen Isten nem nézi az ember személyét –, azok a tekintélyesek engem semmire sem köteleztek.

A tekintélyesektől pedig, (bárminők valának régen, azzal nem törődöm; Isten nem nézi az embernek személyét : mert velem a tekintélyesek semmit sem közöltek;

But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:

Cei ce sunt socotiţi ca fiind ceva – orice ar fi fost ei, nu-mi pasă: Dumnezeu nu caută la faţa oamenilor – aceştia, zic, ei cei cu vază nu mi-au adăugat nimic.

And from those who seemed to be influential (what they were makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality)—those, I say, who seemed influential added nothing to me.

Ellenkezőleg: látták, hogy rám van bízva a körülmetéletlenség evangéliuma, csakúgy, mint Péterre a körülmetélésé.

Sőt ellenkezőleg, mikor látták, hogy én reám van bízva a körülmetéletlenség evangyélioma, mint Péterre a körülmetélésé;

But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

Ba dimpotrivă, când au văzut că mie îmi fusese încredinţată Evanghelia pentru cei netăiaţi împrejur, după cum lui Petru îi fusese încredinţată Evanghelia pentru cei tăiaţi împrejur –

On the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised

Mert aki munkálkodott Péterben a körülmetéltek közötti apostolságra, az általam is munkálkodott a pogányok között.

(Mert a ki erős volt Péterben a körülmetélkedés apostolságára, bennem is erős volt a pogányok között).

(For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)

căci Cel ce făcuse din Petru apostolul celor tăiaţi împrejur, făcuse şi din mine apostolul Neamurilor –

(for he who worked through Peter for his apostolic ministry to the circumcised worked also through me for mine to the Gentiles),

És amikor Jakab, Kéfás és János, akiket oszlopoknak tekintenek, felismerték a nekem adatott kegyelmet, a közösség jeléül jobbjukat nyújtották nekem és Barnabásnak, hogy mi a pogányok közé menjünk, ők pedig a körülmetéltekhez.

És elismervén a nékem adatott kegyelmet, Jakab és Kéfás, meg János, kik oszlopokul tekintetnek, bajtársi jobbjukat nyujták nékem és Barnabásnak, hogy mi a pogányok között, ők pedig a körülmetélés között [prédikáljunk:]

And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

şi, când au cunoscut harul care-mi fusese dat, Iacov, Chifa şi Ioan, care sunt priviţi ca stâlpi, mi-au dat mie şi lui Barnaba mâna dreaptă de însoţire, ca să mergem să propovăduim: noi la Neamuri, iar ei la cei tăiaţi împrejur.

and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

Csak azt kérték, hogy a szegényekről megemlékezzünk, és ezt igyekeztem meg is tenni.

Csakhogy a szegényekről megemlékezzünk; a mit is én igyekeztem megcselekedni.

Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

Ne-au spus numai să ne aducem aminte de cei săraci, şi chiar aşa am şi căutat să fac.

Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.

Amikor pedig Kéfás Antiókhiába jött, nyíltan szembeszálltam vele, mert rászolgált a feddésre.

Mikor pedig Péter Antiókhiába jött, szemtől szembe ellene állottam, mivel panasz volt rá.

But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

Dar, când a venit Chifa în Antiohia, i-am stat împotrivă, în faţă, căci era de osândit.

But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.

Mert mielőtt néhányan odajöttek Jakabtól, a pogányokkal együtt evett, amikor pedig azok megérkeztek, visszavonult és elkülönült, mert félt a körülmetélkedésből valóktól.

Mert mielőtt némelyek oda jöttek Jakabtól, a pogányokkal együtt evett; mikor pedig oda jöttek, félrevonult és elkülönítette magát, félvén a körülmetélkedésből valóktól.

For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.

În adevăr, înainte de venirea unora de la Iacov, el mânca împreună cu Neamurile; dar, când au venit ei, s-a ferit şi a stat deoparte, de teama celor tăiaţi împrejur.

For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party.

És vele képmutatóskodott a többi zsidó is, úgyhogy Barnabás is belesodródott képmutató magatartásukba.

És vele képmutatóskodtak a többi zsidók is, úgy hogy Barnabás szintén elcsábíttatott az ő tettetésök által.

And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

Împreună cu el au început să se prefacă şi ceilalţi iudei, aşa că până şi Barnaba a fost prins în laţul făţărniciei lor.

And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.

De amikor láttam, hogy nem járnak egyenesen, az evangélium igazságának megfelelően, mindnyájuk előtt azt mondtam Kéfásnak: Ha te zsidó létedre pogány módra, nem pedig zsidó módra élsz, hogyan kényszerítheted a pogányokat, hogy zsidó módra éljenek?

De mikor láttam, hogy nem egyenesen járnak az evangyéliom igazságához képest, mondék Péternek mindnyájok előtt: Ha te zsidó létedre pogány módra élsz és nem zsidó módra, miként kényszeríted a pogányokat, hogy zsidó módra éljenek?

But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

Când i-am văzut eu că nu umblă drept după adevărul Evangheliei, am spus lui Chifa în faţa tuturor: „Dacă tu, care eşti iudeu, trăieşti ca Neamurile, şi nu ca iudeii, cum sileşti pe Neamuri să trăiască în felul iudeilor?”

But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”

Mi, természet szerint zsidók és nem a pogányok közül való bűnösök vagyunk,

Mi, természet szerint zsidók és nem pogányok közül való bűnösök,

We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

Noi suntem iudei din fire, iar nu păcătoşi dintre Neamuri.

We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners;

és tudjuk azt, hogy az ember nem igazul meg a törvény cselekedeteiből, hanem a Jézus Krisztusban való hit által. Ezért mi is Krisztus Jézusban hittünk, hogy megigazuljunk a Krisztusban való hitből, nem pedig a törvény cselekedeteiből, mivel a törvény cselekedeteiből nem igazul meg senki.

Tudván azt, hogy az ember nem igazul meg a törvény cselekedeteiből, hanem a Jézus Krisztusban való hit által, mi is Krisztus Jézusban hittünk, hogy megigazuljunk a Krisztusban való hitből és nem a törvény cselekedeteiből; Mivel a törvény cselekedeteiből nem igazul meg egy test sem.

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Totuşi, fiindcă ştim că omul nu este socotit neprihănit prin faptele Legii, ci numai prin credinţa în Isus Hristos, am crezut şi noi în Hristos Isus, ca să fim socotiţi neprihăniţi prin credinţa în Hristos, iar nu prin faptele Legii; pentru că nimeni nu va fi socotit neprihănit prin faptele Legii.

yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

Ha pedig Krisztusban keresve megigazulást magunk is bűnösnek bizonyulunk, akkor talán Krisztus a bűn szolgája? Semmiképpen!

Ha pedig Krisztusban keresvén a megigazulást, mimagunk is bűnösöknek találtatunk, avagy Krisztus bűnnek szolgája-é? Távol legyen.

But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

Dar, dacă, în timp ce căutăm să fim socotiţi neprihăniţi în Hristos, şi noi înşine am fi găsiţi ca păcătoşi, este oare Hristos un slujitor al păcatului? Nicidecum!

But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not!

Mert ha amiket leromboltam, azokat ismét fölépítem, törvényszegőnek bizonyulok.

Mert, ha a miket elrontottam, azokat ismét fölépítem, önmagamat teszem bűnössé.

For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

Căci, dacă zidesc iarăşi lucrurile pe care le-am stricat, mă arăt ca un călcător de lege.

For if I rebuild what I tore down, I prove myself to be a transgressor.

For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

Căci eu, prin Lege, am murit faţă de Lege, ca să trăiesc pentru Dumnezeu.

For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God.

Krisztussal együtt megfeszíttettem. Többé pedig nem én élek, hanem Krisztus él bennem; amely életet pedig most testben élek, az Isten Fiában való hitben élem, aki szeretett engem, és önmagát adta értem.

Krisztussal együtt megfeszíttettem. Élek pedig többé nem én, hanem él bennem a Krisztus; a mely életet pedig most testben élek, az Isten Fiában való hitben élem, a ki szeretett engem és önmagát adta érettem.

I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Am fost răstignit împreună cu Hristos, şi trăiesc… dar nu mai trăiesc eu, ci Hristos trăieşte în mine. Şi viaţa, pe care o trăiesc acum în trup, o trăiesc în credinţa în Fiul lui Dumnezeu care m-a iubit şi S-a dat pe Sine însuşi pentru mine.

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Nem teszem érvénytelenné az Isten kegyelmét, mert ha törvény által van az igazság, akkor Krisztus hiába halt meg.

Nem törlöm el az Isten kegyelmét; mert ha a törvény által [van] az igazság, tehát Krisztus ok nélkül halt meg.

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Nu vreau să fac zadarnic harul lui Dumnezeu; căci, dacă neprihănirea se capătă prin Lege, degeaba a murit Hristos.

I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
