Áldott az Isten, a mi Urunk, Jézus Krisztus Atyja, aki megáldott minket minden lelki áldással a mennyekben, a Krisztusban.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Benne van a mi váltságunk az ő vére által, a bűnök bocsánata kegyelmének gazdagsága szerint,

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Megismertette velünk akaratának titkát az ő jó kedve szerint, amelyet előre elhatározott magában,

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

az idők teljességének rendjére nézve, hogy Krisztusban mindeneket egybeszerkeszt, mind amelyek a mennyben, mind amelyek a földön vannak.

That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

ca să-l aducă la îndeplinire la împlinirea vremurilor, spre a-Şi uni iarăşi într-unul, în Hristos, toate lucrurile: cele din ceruri şi cele de pe pământ.

as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth in him.

hogy dicsőségének magasztalására legyünk, mint akik előre reménykedtünk Krisztusban.

Hogy legyünk mi magasztalására az Ő dicsőségének, a kik előre reménykedtünk a Krisztusban:

That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

ca să slujim de laudă slavei Sale, noi, care mai dinainte am nădăjduit în Hristos.

so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.

Őbenne titeket is – miután hallottátok az igazság beszédét, üdvösségetek evangéliumát, amelyben hittetek is – megpecsételt a megígért Szentlélekkel,

A kiben ti is, minekutána hallottátok az igazságnak beszédét, idvességetek evangyéliomát, a melyben hittetek is, megpecsételtettetek az ígéretnek ama Szent Lelkével,

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

Ezért én is, miután hallottam az Úr Jézusban való hitetekről és minden szentek iránt való szeretetetekről,

Annakokáért én is, hallván a ti hiteteket az Úr Jézusban, és minden szentekhez való szerelmeteket,

Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

De aceea şi eu, de când am auzit despre credinţa în Domnul Isus care este în voi şi despre dragostea voastră pentru toţi sfinţii,

For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,

nem szűnök meg hálát adni értetek imádságaimban, megemlékezve rólatok,

Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

és milyen mérhetetlenül nagy az ő hatalma bennünk, akik hiszünk hatalma erejének ama munkája szerint,

És mi az Ő hatalmának felséges nagysága irántunk, a kik hiszünk, az Ő hatalma erejének ama munkája szerint,

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
