Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;

Honor widows who are truly widows.

Ha pedig egy özvegyasszonynak gyermekei vagy unokái vannak, ezek tanulják meg, hogy elsősorban a saját házuk népét tiszteljék, és róják le hálájukat szüleik iránt, mert ez kedves Isten előtt.

Ha pedig valamely özvegyasszonynak gyermekei vagy unokái vannak, tanulják meg, hogy első sorban a maguk háza iránt legyenek istenfélők, és adják meg szüleiknek a viszont tartozást; mert ez szép és kedves dolog Isten előtt.

But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

Dacă o văduvă are copii sau nepoţi de la copii, aceştia să se deprindă să fie evlavioşi, întâi faţă de cei din casa lor, şi să răsplătească ostenelile părinţilor, căci lucrul acesta este plăcut înaintea lui Dumnezeu.

But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of God.

Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.

Cea cu adevărat văduvă, care a rămas singură, şi-a pus nădejdea în Dumnezeu şi stăruie, zi şi noapte, în cereri şi rugăciuni.

She who is truly a widow, left all alone, has set her hope on God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day,

And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.

Command these things as well, so that they may be without reproach.

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Dacă nu poartă cineva grijă de ai lui, şi mai ales de cei din casa lui, s-a lepădat de credinţă şi este mai rău decât un necredincios.

But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Az özvegyasszonyok közé csak olyan hatvan év felettit szabad bejegyezni, aki egy férfi felesége volt,

Özvegyasszonyul hatvan éven alul levő meg ne választassék; egy férj felesége lett légyen,

Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man.

O văduvă, ca să fie înscrisă în lista văduvelor, trebuie să n-aibă mai puţin de şaizeci de ani, să nu fi avut decât un singur bărbat,

Let a widow be enrolled if she is not less than sixty years of age, having been the wife of one husband,

és aki mellett jó cselekedetei tanúskodnak, ha gyermeket nevelt, ha vendégszerető volt, ha a szentek lábát mosta, ha a nyomorultakon segített, ha mindenféle jó cselekedetből kivette a részét.

A kinek jó cselekedetekről bizonysága van; ha gyermeket nevelt, ha vendéglátó volt, ha a szentek lábait mosta, ha a nyomorultakon segített, ha minden jó cselekedetben foglalatos vala.

Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

să fie cunoscută pentru faptele ei bune, să fi crescut copii, să fi fost primitoare de oaspeţi, să fi spălat picioarele sfinţilor, să fi ajutat pe cei nenorociţi, să fi dat ajutor la orice faptă bună.

and having a reputation for good works: if she has brought up children, has shown hospitality, has washed the feet of the saints, has cared for the afflicted, and has devoted herself to every good work.

A fiatalabb özvegyeket pedig ne jegyezd be, mert ha Krisztus ellenére feltámad bennük a vágy, férjhez akarnak menni.

A fiatalabb özvegyasszonyokat pedig mellőzd; mert ha gerjedeznek Krisztus ellenére, férjhez akarnak menni:

But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;

Dar pe văduvele tinere să nu le primeşti, pentru că, atunci când le desparte pofta de Hristos, vor să se mărite din nou

But refuse to enroll younger widows, for when their passions draw them away from Christ, they desire to marry

Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

şi se fac vinovate de faptul că îşi calcă credinţa dintâi.

and so incur condemnation for having abandoned their former faith.

Dologtalanok lévén megtanulják a házról házra járást, és nemcsak dologtalanok, hanem fecsegők is, sőt más dolgába avatkozók, és olyanokat mondanak, amiket nem kellene.

Egyszersmind pedig dologkerülők [lévén], megtanulják a házról-házra való járogatást; sőt nemcsak dologkerülők, hanem fecsegők is és más dolgába avatkozók, olyanokat szólván, a miket nem kellene.

And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

Totodată se deprind să umble fără nicio treabă din casă în casă; şi nu numai că sunt leneşe, dar sunt şi limbute şi iscoditoare, şi vorbesc ce nu trebuie vorbit.

Besides that, they learn to be idlers, going about from house to house, and not only idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying what they should not.

Azt tanácsolom tehát, hogy a fiatalabbak menjenek férjhez, szüljenek gyermekeket, vezessenek háztartást, és semmilyen alkalmat ne adjanak az ellenségnek a rágalmazásra.

Akarom tehát, hogy a fiatalabbak férjhez menjenek, gyermekeket szűljenek, háztartást vigyenek, és semminemű alkalmat se adjanak az ellenségnek a szidalmazásra.

I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

Vreau, dar, ca văduvele tinere să se mărite şi să aibă copii, să fie gospodine la casa lor, ca să nu dea potrivnicului niciun prilej de ocară,

So I would have younger widows marry, bear children, manage their households, and give the adversary no occasion for slander.

For some are already turned aside after Satan.

Ha egy hívő nőnek özvegy hozzátartozói vannak, segítse őket, és ne terheljék meg a gyülekezetet, hogy az a valóban özvegyeket segíthesse.

Ha valamely hívő férfinak vagy nőnek vannak özvegyei, segítse azokat, és ne terheltessék meg a gyülekezet; hogy azokat segíthesse, a kik valóban özvegyek.

If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.

Dacă vreun credincios, fie bărbat, fie femeie, are văduve în familie, să le ajute, şi să nu fie împovărată cu ele Biserica, pentru ca să poată veni în ajutor celor cu adevărat văduve.

If any believing woman has relatives who are widows, let her care for them. Let the church not be burdened, so that it may care for those who are truly widows.

A vezetésben jól bevált presbiterek kettős megbecsülést érdemelnek, főleg azok, akik az igehirdetésben és a tanításban fáradoznak.

A jól forgolódó presbiterek kettős tisztességre méltattassanak, főképen a kik a beszédben és tanításban fáradoznak.

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Prezbiterii care cârmuiesc bine să fie învredniciţi de îndoită cinste, mai ales cei ce se ostenesc cu propovăduirea şi cu învăţătura pe care o dau altora.

Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.

Mert azt mondja az Írás: „A nyomtató ökörnek ne kösd be a száját”, és hogy „méltó a munkás a maga bérére”.

For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.”

Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

Împotriva unui prezbiter să nu primeşti învinuire decât din gura a doi sau trei martori.

Do not admit a charge against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses.

Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

Pe cei ce păcătuiesc mustră-i înaintea tuturor, ca şi ceilalţi să aibă frică.

As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear.

Kérve kérlek Istenre és Krisztus Jézusra és a kiválasztott angyalokra, hogy tartsd meg ezeket előítélet nélkül, és semmit se tégy részrehajlásból.

I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Te rog fierbinte, înaintea lui Dumnezeu, înaintea lui Hristos Isus şi înaintea îngerilor aleşi, să păzeşti aceste lucruri, fără vreun gând mai dinainte, şi să nu faci nimic cu părtinire.

In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels I charge you to keep these rules without prejudging, doing nothing from partiality.

Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

Să nu-ţi pui mâinile peste nimeni cu grabă şi să nu te faci părtaş păcatelor altora; pe tine însuţi păzeşte-te curat.

Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, nor take part in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.

Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

Păcatele unor oameni sunt cunoscute şi merg înainte la judecată, iar ale altora vin pe urmă.

The sins of some people are conspicuous, going before them to judgment, but the sins of others appear later.

Hasonlóképpen nyilvánvalók a jó cselekedetek is, és amelyekkel másképp áll a dolog, azok sem rejthetők el.

Hasonlóképen a jó cselekedetek is nyilvánvalók; és a melyek másképen vannak, azok sem titkolhatók el.

Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

Tot aşa şi faptele bune sunt cunoscute; şi cele ce nu sunt cunoscute nu pot să rămână ascunse.

So also good works are conspicuous, and even those that are not cannot remain hidden.
