Meghallották azonban Júda és Benjámin ellenségei, hogy akik a fogságból visszatértek, templomot építenek az ÚRnak, Izráel Istenének,

Mikor pedig meghallák Júda és Benjámin ellenségei, hogy a kik a fogságból visszatértek, templomot építenek az Úrnak, Izráel Istenének:

Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto the LORD God of Israel;

Vrăjmaşii lui Iuda şi Beniamin au auzit că fiii robiei zidesc un Templu Domnului Dumnezeului lui Israel.

Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the returned exiles were building a temple to the LORD, the God of Israel,

ezért elmentek Zerubbábelhez és a családfőkhöz, és azt mondták nekik: Hadd építsünk veletek együtt, mert mi is a ti Istenetekhez folyamodunk, mint ti, és neki áldozunk Észarhaddón asszír király idejétől fogva, aki ide fölhozott minket!

Menének Zorobábelhez és a családfőkhöz, s mondának nékik: Hadd építsünk együtt veletek, mert miképen ti, úgy mi is a ti Isteneteket keressük s néki áldozunk Esárhaddon, Assiria királyának idejétől fogva, a ki ide hozott fel minket!

Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither.

Au venit la Zorobabel şi la capii de familii şi le-au zis: „Să zidim şi noi cu voi; căci şi noi chemăm ca şi voi pe Dumnezeul vostru şi-I aducem jertfe din vremea lui Esar-Hadon, împăratul Asiriei, care ne-a adus aici.”

they approached Zerubbabel and the heads of fathers’ houses and said to them, “Let us build with you, for we worship your God as you do, and we have been sacrificing to him ever since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria who brought us here.”

Zerubbábel, Jésúa és Izráel többi családfője azonban azt mondta nekik: Nem építhettek velünk együtt templomot Istenünknek, hanem mi magunk fogjuk azt megépíteni az ÚRnak, Izráel Istenének, ahogy megparancsolta nekünk Círus király, Perzsia királya.

És monda nékik Zorobábel és Jésua és Izráel családainak többi fői: Nem veletek együtt kell nékünk házat építeni a mi Istenünknek, hanem mi magunk fogunk építeni az Úrnak, Izráel Istenének, a miképen megparancsolta nékünk a király, Czírus, Persia királya.

But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.

Dar Zorobabel, Iosua şi ceilalţi capi ai familiilor lui Israel le-au răspuns: „Nu se cuvine să zidiţi împreună cu noi Casa Dumnezeului nostru; ci noi singuri o vom zidi Domnului Dumnezeului lui Israel, cum ne-a poruncit împăratul Cirus, împăratul perşilor.”

But Zerubbabel, Jeshua, and the rest of the heads of fathers’ houses in Israel said to them, “You have nothing to do with us in building a house to our God; but we alone will build to the LORD, the God of Israel, as King Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us.”

Ezért a föld népe arra törekedett, hogy elbátortalanítsa Júda népét, és elrettentse őket az építéstől.

És igyekezék e tartomány népe megkötni Júda népének kezeit és elrémíteni azt az építéstől.

Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building,

Atunci oamenii ţării au înmuiat inima poporului lui Iuda; l-au înfricoşat ca să-l împiedice să zidească

Then the people of the land discouraged the people of Judah and made them afraid to build

Tanácsadókat béreltek föl ellenük Círusnak, Perzsia királyának egész idejében Dárius perzsa király uralkodásáig, hogy meghiúsítsák szándékukat.

És felbérelni ellene tanácsosokat, hogy semmivé tegyék szándékát Czírusnak, Persia királyának egész idejében, Dárius persa király uralkodásáig.

And hired counsellors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia.

şi au mituit cu preţ de argint pe sfetnici ca să-i zădărnicească lucrarea. Aşa a fost tot timpul vieţii lui Cirus, împăratul perşilor, până la domnia lui Darius, împăratul perşilor.

and bribed counselors against them to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia.

Ahasvérós uralkodása idején, uralkodása kezdetén vádoló levelet írtak Júda és Jeruzsálem lakói ellen.

És Ahasvérus uralkodásakor, uralkodásának kezdetén, vádolást írának Júda és Jeruzsálem lakói ellen.

And in the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, wrote they unto him an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.

Sub domnia lui Asuerus, la începutul domniei lui, au scris o pâră împotriva locuitorilor din Iuda şi din Ierusalim.

And in the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, they wrote an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.

Artahsasztá idején pedig Bislám, Mitredát, Tábeél és több társuk írt Ar tahsasztá perzsa királynak. A levelet arám betűkkel írták, arám fordításban.

Artaxerxes napjaiban pedig Bislám, Mithredathes és Tábeél s ennek többi társai írtak vala Artaxerxeshez a persiai királyhoz, s e levelet arám betűkkel írták, mely azután arám nyelvre fordíttatott át.

And in the days of Artaxerxes wrote Bishlam, Mithredath, Tabeel, and the rest of their companions, unto Artaxerxes king of Persia; and the writing of the letter was written in the Syrian tongue, and interpreted in the Syrian tongue.

Şi pe vremea lui Artaxerxe, Bişlam, Mitredat, Tabeel şi ceilalţi tovarăşi de slujbă ai lor au scris lui Artaxerxe, împăratul perşilor. Scrisoarea a fost scrisă cu slove aramaice şi tălmăcită în limba aramaică.

In the days of Artaxerxes, Bishlam and Mithredath and Tabeel and the rest of their associates wrote to Artaxerxes king of Persia. The letter was written in Aramaic and translated.

Rehúm helytartó és Simsaj kancellár is írt ilyen levelet Jeruzsálem ellen Artahsasztá királynak.

Rehum, a helytartó és Simsai, a kanczellár, írának egy levelet Jeruzsálem ellen Artaxerxes királyhoz ekképen.

Rehum the chancellor and Shimshai the scribe wrote a letter against Jerusalem to Artaxerxes the king in this sort:

Dregătorul Rehum şi logofătul Şimşai au scris împăratului Artaxerxe scrisoarea următoare la Ierusalim.

Rehum the commander and Shimshai the scribe wrote a letter against Jerusalem to Artaxerxes the king as follows:

Jelentést tett Rehúm helytartó, Simsaj kancellár és többi társuk: a bírók, tisztviselők, felügyelők és hivatalnokok, az erekiek, babilóniaiak és susániak, azaz elámiak,

[Írának pedig] ekkor Rehum, a helytartó és Simsai, a kanczellár és ezeknek többi társaik: a Dineusok, Afársatakeusok, Tarpeleusok, Afárseusok, Arkeveusok, Babilóniabeliek, Susánkeusok, Dehaveusok és a Hélameusok.

Then wrote Rehum the chancellor, and Shimshai the scribe, and the rest of their companions; the Dinaites, the Apharsathchites, the Tarpelites, the Apharsites, the Archevites, the Babylonians, the Susanchites, the Dehavites, and the Elamites,

Rehum the commander, Shimshai the scribe, and the rest of their associates, the judges, the governors, the officials, the Persians, the men of Erech, the Babylonians, the men of Susa, that is, the Elamites,

valamint a többi nép, akiket a nagy és dicső Asznappar vitt el és telepített le Samária városában és a többi városban, amelyek a folyamon túl vannak.

And the rest of the nations whom the great and noble Asnapper brought over, and set in the cities of Samaria, and the rest that are on this side the river, and at such a time.

and the rest of the nations whom the great and noble Osnappar deported and settled in the cities of Samaria and in the rest of the province Beyond the River.

This is the copy of the letter that they sent unto him, even unto Artaxerxes the king; Thy servants the men on this side the river, and at such a time.

tudtára adjuk a királynak, hogy a zsidók, akik eljöttek tőled, megérkeztek hozzánk Jeruzsálembe. Építik a lázadó és gonosz várost, emelik a várfalakat, és az alapokat javítgatják.

Tudtára légyen a királynak, hogy a zsidók, a kik feljöttek tőled, megérkezének hozzánk Jeruzsálembe; a visszavonó és gonosz várost építik, a kőfalakat készítik s a fundamentomokat javítgatják.

Be it known unto the king, that the Jews which came up from thee to us are come unto Jerusalem, building the rebellious and the bad city, and have set up the walls thereof, and joined the foundations.

Să ştie împăratul că iudeii plecaţi de la tine şi veniţi printre noi la Ierusalim zidesc din nou cetatea aceea răzvrătită şi rea, îi ridică zidurile şi-i dreg temeliile.

be it known to the king that the Jews who came up from you to us have gone to Jerusalem. They are rebuilding that rebellious and wicked city. They are finishing the walls and repairing the foundations.

Tudja meg most a király, hogy ha ezt a várost fölépítik, és a várfalak elkészülnek, nem fognak majd adót, illetéket és úti vámot fizetni, és megkárosítják a királyok jövedelmét.

Mostan tudtára légyen a királynak, hogy ha ez a város megépíttetik s a kőfalak elkészülnek, adót, rovást és úti vámot nem fognak fizetni, s a királyok jövedelmét megkárosítják.

Be it known now unto the king, that, if this city be builded, and the walls set up again, then will they not pay toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue of the kings.

Să ştie, dar, împăratul că, dacă se va zidi cetatea aceasta şi i se vor ridica zidurile, nu vor mai plăti nici bir, nici dare, nici drept de trecere, şi vistieria împărătească va suferi din pricina aceasta.

Now be it known to the king that if this city is rebuilt and the walls finished, they will not pay tribute, custom, or toll, and the royal revenue will be impaired.

Most tehát, mivel a palota sójával sózunk, és éppen ezért nem illik elnéznünk a király kárát, ezért küldjük e levelet, és tudatjuk ezt a királlyal.

Mostan, mivel a palota savával sózunk s épen ezért a király kárát nem illik elnéznünk, ez okért küldjük e levelet és tudatjuk a királylyal,

Now because we have maintenance from the king's palace, and it was not meet for us to see the king's dishonour, therefore have we sent and certified the king;

Şi, fiindcă noi mâncăm sarea curţii domneşti şi nu ne şade bine să vedem pe împărat păgubit, trimitem împăratului aceste ştiri.

Now because we eat the salt of the palace and it is not fitting for us to witness the king’s dishonor, therefore we send and inform the king,

Nézzenek csak utána atyáid történeteinek könyvében, és meg fogod találni abban, és megtudod majd, hogy e város lázadó és királyokat és tartományokat megkárosító város volt. Régtől fogva lázadások törtek ki abban, ezért is rombolták le e várost.

Hogy nézzen utána valaki atyáid történeteinek könyvében, és meg fogod találni a történetek könyvében, és megtudod, hogy e város visszavonó és királyokat és tartományokat megkárosító város volt, s hogy eleitől fogva lázadások történtek abban, ezért pusztíttatott is el e város.

That search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and that they have moved sedition within the same of old time: for which cause was this city destroyed.

Să se facă cercetări în cartea cronicilor părinţilor tăi; şi vei găsi şi vei vedea în cartea cronicilor că cetatea aceasta este o cetate răzvrătită, vătămătoare împăraţilor şi ţinuturilor, şi că s-au dedat la răscoală încă din vremuri străbune. De aceea a fost nimicită cetatea aceasta.

in order that search may be made in the book of the records of your fathers. You will find in the book of the records and learn that this city is a rebellious city, hurtful to kings and provinces, and that sedition was stirred up in it from of old. That was why this city was laid waste.

Tudatjuk a királylyal, hogy ha ez a város fölépül, és a kőfalak elkészülnek, nem lesz többé birtokod a folyamon túl.”

Tudatjuk mi a királylyal, hogy ha ez a város megépülend és a kőfalak elkészülnek: ennek miatta birtokod a folyóvizen túl nem lészen."

We certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river.

Facem cunoscut împăratului că, dacă va fi zidită din nou cetatea aceasta şi dacă i se vor ridica zidurile, prin chiar faptul acesta, nu vei mai avea stăpânire dincoace de Râu.”

We make known to the king that if this city is rebuilt and its walls finished, you will then have no possession in the province Beyond the River.”

A király választ küldött Rehúm helytartónak és Simsaj kancellárnak és többi társuknak, akik Samáriában laktak, valamint a folyamon túl lakóknak: „Békesség!

A király választ küldött Rehumnak, a helytartónak és Simsainak, a kanczellárnak és többi társaiknak, a kik Samariában laknak vala, és minden folyóvizen túl lakozóknak: "Békesség és a többi.

Then sent the king an answer unto Rehum the chancellor, and to Shimshai the scribe, and to the rest of their companions that dwell in Samaria, and unto the rest beyond the river, Peace, and at such a time.

Iată răspunsul trimis de împărat dregătorului Rehum, logofătului Şimşai şi celorlalţi tovarăşi ai lui de slujbă, care locuiau la Samaria şi în alte locuri de cealaltă parte a Râului: „Sănătate şi aşa mai departe…

The king sent an answer: “To Rehum the commander and Shimshai the scribe and the rest of their associates who live in Samaria and in the rest of the province Beyond the River, greeting. And now

The letter which ye sent unto us hath been plainly read before me.

Megparancsoltam hát, hogy nézzenek utána, és úgy találták, hogy ez a város eleitől fogva királyok ellen lázadó város volt, és hogy pártütések és lázongások törtek ki benne.

És megparancsolám, hogy nézzenek utána, és úgy találák, hogy ez a város eleitől fogva királyok ellen támadó volt, és hogy pártütés és lázadás történt vala benne;

And I commanded, and search hath been made, and it is found that this city of old time hath made insurrection against kings, and that rebellion and sedition have been made therein.

Am dat poruncă să se facă cercetări; şi s-a găsit că din vremuri vechi cetatea aceasta s-a răsculat împotriva împăraţilor şi s-a dedat la răscoală şi la răzvrătire.

And I made a decree, and search has been made, and it has been found that this city from of old has risen against kings, and that rebellion and sedition have been made in it.

Hatalmas királyok voltak Jeruzsálemben, akik minden folyamon túl lakón is uralkodtak, azok pedig adót, illetéket és úti vámot fizettek nekik.

És hogy hatalmas királyok voltak Jeruzsálemben és uralkodtak minden a folyóvizen túl lakókon, és adó, rovás és úti vám fizettetett nékik.

There have been mighty kings also over Jerusalem, which have ruled over all countries beyond the river; and toll, tribute, and custom, was paid unto them.

Au fost la Ierusalim împăraţi puternici, stăpâni peste toată ţara de dincolo de Râu, şi cărora li se plătea bir, dare şi drept de trecere pe drum.

And mighty kings have been over Jerusalem, who ruled over the whole province Beyond the River, to whom tribute, custom, and toll were paid.

Most tehát adjátok parancsba, hogy akadályozzák meg e férfiakat, és ne építsék addig e várost, amíg tőlem más parancs nem jön.

Mostan azért parancsoljátok meg, hogy akadályozzák meg a férfiakat, s e város ne építtessék addig, míg tőlem parancsolat nem jövend;

Give ye now commandment to cause these men to cease, and that this city be not builded, until another commandment shall be given from me.

Ca urmare, porunciţi să înceteze lucrările oamenilor acelora şi să nu se mai zidească cetatea aceasta până ce nu vor avea o învoire din partea mea.

Therefore make a decree that these men be made to cease, and that this city be not rebuilt, until a decree is made by me.

Vigyázzatok, hogy el ne kövessetek ebben semmi mulasztást, hogy ne növekedjék a kár a királyok rovására!”

És meglássátok, hogy ebben valami mulasztást el ne kövessetek, hogy ne nevekedjék a veszedelem a királyok megkárosítására!"

Take heed now that ye fail not to do this: why should damage grow to the hurt of the kings?

Vedeţi să nu vă abateţi de la porunca aceasta, ca să nu crească răul acela spre paguba împăraţilor.”

And take care not to be slack in this matter. Why should damage grow to the hurt of the king?”

Mihelyt Artahsasztá király levelének másolatát fölolvasták Rehúm, Simsaj kancellár és társaik előtt, ezek nagy sietve Jeruzsálembe mentek a zsidókhoz, és fegyveres erővel megakadályozták őket az építésben.

Mihelyt Artaxerxes király levelének mássa felolvastaték Rehum és Simsai, a kanczellár és társaik előtt, menének nagy hamarsággal Jeruzsálembe a zsidókhoz, és megakadályozák őket erővel és hatalommal.

Now when the copy of king Artaxerxes' letter was read before Rehum, and Shimshai the scribe, and their companions, they went up in haste to Jerusalem unto the Jews, and made them to cease by force and power.

Îndată ce s-a citit cuprinsul scrisorii împăratului Artaxerxe înaintea lui Rehum, înaintea logofătului Şimşai şi înaintea tovarăşilor lor de slujbă, s-au dus în grabă la Ierusalim la iudei şi i-au oprit cu silă şi cu putere de la lucrările lor.

Then, when the copy of King Artaxerxes’ letter was read before Rehum and Shimshai the scribe and their associates, they went in haste to the Jews at Jerusalem and by force and power made them cease.

Akkor félbeszakadt az Úr házának építése, amely Jeruzsálemben van, és szünetelt az Dárius, Perzsia királya uralkodásának második esztendejéig.

Akkor megszünék az Úr házának építése, mely Jeruzsálemben van, és szünetelt Dárius, Persia királya uralkodásának második esztendejéig.

Then ceased the work of the house of God which is at Jerusalem. So it ceased unto the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.

Atunci s-a oprit lucrarea Casei lui Dumnezeu la Ierusalim şi a fost oprită până în anul al doilea al domniei lui Darius, împăratul perşilor.

Then the work on the house of God that is in Jerusalem stopped, and it ceased until the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.
