Ilyen dolgot láttatott velem az én Istenem, az ÚR: Íme, sáskarajt teremtett a sarjúfakadás kezdetén, és íme, már sarjadzott a fű a királyi kaszálás után.

Ily dolgot láttatott velem az Úr Isten; Ímé, teremte sáskát a sarjúfakadás kezdetén, és ímé sarjú vala a királyi kaszálás után!

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings.

Domnul Dumnezeu mi-a trimis vedenia aceasta: Iată, făcea nişte lăcuste, în clipa când începea să crească otava; era otava după cositul împăratului.

This is what the Lord GOD showed me: behold, he was forming locusts when the latter growth was just beginning to sprout, and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

Amikor föl akarta falni a föld füvét, azt mondtam: Istenem, URam! Bocsáss meg, kérlek! Hogyan állhat meg Jákób? Hiszen oly kicsiny!

És lőn, hogy a mint felemésztette a földnek füvét, azt mondám: Uram, Isten! légy kegyelmes, kérlek! Hogyan állhasson meg Jákób, hiszen kicsiny?!

And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

Şi după ce au mâncat ele cu desăvârşire toată iarba din ţară, am zis: „Doamne Dumnezeule, iartă! Cum ar putea să stea Iacov în picioare? Căci este aşa de slab!”

When they had finished eating the grass of the land, I said, “O Lord GOD, please forgive! How can Jacob stand? He is so small!”

Megengesztelődött az ÚR ebben a dologban: Nem lesz meg! – mondta az ÚR.

Megengesztelődék az Úr e dologban: Nem lesz meg! mondá az Úr.

The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.

Atunci Domnul S-a căit de lucrul acesta: „Nu se va întâmpla una ca aceasta, a zis Domnul.”

The LORD relented concerning this: “It shall not be,” said the LORD.

Ilyen dolgot láttatott velem az én Istenem, az ÚR: Íme, tüzet hívott elő ítéletre az én Istenem, az ÚR, és az megemésztette a nagy mélységet, és amikor már emésztette az országot,

Ily dolgot láttatott velem az Úr Isten: Ímé, tüzet híva elő ítéletre az Úr Isten, és megemészté [az] a nagy mélységet, és megemészté az országot.

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.

Domnul Dumnezeu mi-a trimis vedenia aceasta: Iată, Domnul Dumnezeu vestea pedeapsa prin foc; şi focul mânca Adâncul cel mare şi apucase şi câmpia.

This is what the Lord GOD showed me: behold, the Lord GOD was calling for a judgment by fire, and it devoured the great deep and was eating up the land.

azt mondtam: Istenem, URam, hagyd abba, kérlek! Hogyan állhat meg Jákób? Hiszen oly kicsiny!

De mondám: Uram, Isten! hagyd abba, kérlek! Hogyan állhatna meg Jákób; hiszen kicsiny?!

Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

Eu am zis: „Doamne Dumnezeule, opreşte! Cum ar putea să stea în picioare Iacov? Căci este aşa de slab!”

Then I said, “O Lord GOD, please cease! How can Jacob stand? He is so small!”

Megengesztelődött az ÚR ebben a dologban: Ez sem lesz meg! – mondta az én Istenem, az ÚR.

Megengesztelődék az Úr e dologban: Ez sem lészen meg, mondá az Úr Isten!

The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.

Atunci Domnul S-a căit şi de lucrul acesta: „Niciuna ca aceasta nu se va întâmpla, a zis Domnul Dumnezeu.”

The LORD relented concerning this: “This also shall not be,” said the Lord GOD.

Ilyen dolgot láttatott velem: Íme, az Úr ott állt egy függőleges kőfalon, és a kezében mérőzsinór volt.

Ily dolgot láttatott velem: Ímé, ott állott az Úr egy függőleges kőfalon, és a kezében mérő-zsinór vala.

Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

El mi-a trimis vedenia aceasta: Iată, Domnul stătea pe un zid făcut la cumpănă şi avea o cumpănă în mână.

This is what he showed me: behold, the Lord was standing beside a wall built with a plumb line, with a plumb line in his hand.

Azt kérdezte tőlem az ÚR: Mit látsz, Ámósz? Én pedig azt mondtam: Mérőzsinórt. Erre azt mondta az ÚR: Íme, mérőzsinórral mérek népem, Izráel körében, és többé nem bocsátok meg neki!

És monda az Úr nékem: Mit látsz Ámós? Én pedig mondám: Mérőzsinórt. És mondá az Úr: Ímé, mérőzsinórral mérek népemnek, az Izráelnek közepette, és nem bocsátok meg néki többé.

And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

Domnul mi-a zis: „Ce vezi, Amos?” Eu am răspuns: „O cumpănă.” Şi Domnul a zis: „Iată, voi pune cumpăna în mijlocul poporului Meu, Israel, şi nu-l voi mai ierta;

And the LORD said to me, “Amos, what do you see?” And I said, “A plumb line.” Then the Lord said, “Behold, I am setting a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel; I will never again pass by them;

Bizony elpusztulnak Izsák magaslatai, és romba dőlnek Izráel szent helyei. Fegyverrel támadok Jeroboám háza ellen.

Bizony elpusztulnak Izsáknak magaslatai, és romba dőlnek Izráel szent helyei; és fegyverrel támadok a Jeroboám háza ellen.

And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

ci înălţimile lui Isaac vor fi pustiite; sfintele locaşuri ale lui Israel vor fi dărâmate, şi Mă voi ridica împotriva casei lui Ieroboam cu sabia.”

the high places of Isaac shall be made desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste, and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.”

Akkor ezt az üzenetet küldte Amacjá, Bétel papja Jeroboámnak, Izráel királyának: Pártot üt ellened Ámósz Izráel házában. Nem tűrheti el az ország az ő beszédeit!

És elkülde Amáziás, Béth-El papja Jeroboámhoz, Izráel királyához, ezt üzenvén: Pártot ütött ellened Ámós az Izráel házában; nem tűrheti az ország az ő mindenféle beszédét.

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

Atunci Amaţia, preotul din Betel, a trimis să spună lui Ieroboam, împăratul lui Israel: „Amos unelteşte împotriva ta în mijlocul casei lui Israel; ţara nu poate să sufere toate cuvintele lui!

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, “Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Israel. The land is not able to bear all his words.

Mert így beszél Ámósz: Fegyver által hal meg Jeroboám, Izráelt pedig fogságba viszik a földjéről!

Mert így beszél Ámós: Fegyver által hal meg Jeroboám, az Izráel pedig fogságba vitetik az ő földéről!

For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.

Căci iată ce zice Amos: „Ieroboam va fi ucis de sabie, şi Israel va fi dus în robie departe de ţara sa!”

For thus Amos has said, “‘Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel must go into exile away from his land.’”

Ámószhoz azért így szólt Amacjá: Menj el, te látnok! Menekülj Júda földjére, ott edd a kenyeredet, és ott prófétálj!

Ámósnak pedig így szólt Amáziás: Menj el, próféta! Fuss el a Júda földére; ott egyed kenyered és ottan prófétálj!

Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:

Şi Amaţia a zis lui Amos: „Pleacă, văzătorule, şi fugi în ţara lui Iuda! Mănâncă-ţi pâinea acolo şi acolo proroceşte.

And Amaziah said to Amos, “O seer, go, flee away to the land of Judah, and eat bread there, and prophesy there,

Bételben nem prófétálhatsz többé, mert a király szent helye és az ország székháza az!

Béth-Elben pedig ne prófétálj többé; mert a király szenthelye és az ország székháza ez!

But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.

Dar nu mai proroci la Betel, căci este un locaş sfânt al împăratului şi este un templu al împărăţiei!”

but never again prophesy at Bethel, for it is the king’s sanctuary, and it is a temple of the kingdom.”

Ámósz így felelt Amacjának: Nem vagyok próféta, se próféta fia: marhapásztor vagyok, és fügét termesztek.

És felele Ámós, és mondá Amáziásnak: Nem vagyok próféta, sem prófétának fia; barom-pásztor vagyok és vad fügét szedek;

Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

Amos a răspuns lui Amaţia: „Eu nu sunt nici proroc, nici fiu de proroc; ci sunt păstor şi strângător de smochine de Egipt.

Then Amos answered and said to Amaziah, “I was no prophet, nor a prophet’s son, but I was a herdsman and a dresser of sycamore figs.

De elhívott engem az ÚR a nyáj mellől, és azt mondta nekem az ÚR: Menj el, és prófétálj népemnek, Izráelnek!

De elhívott engem az Úr a nyáj mellől, és mondá nékem az Úr: Menj el és prófétálj az én népemnek, az Izráelnek!

And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

Dar Domnul m-a luat de la oi şi Domnul mi-a zis: „Du-te şi proroceşte poporului Meu, Israel!”

But the LORD took me from following the flock, and the LORD said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’

Most azért halld meg az ÚR beszédét! Te azt mondod: Ne prófétálj Izráel ellen, és ne szólj Izsák háza ellen!

Most azért halld meg az Úrnak beszédét! Te azt mondod: Ne prófétálj az Izráel ellen, és ne szólj az Izsák háza ellen!

Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.

Ascultă acum cuvântul Domnului, tu care zici: „Nu proroci împotriva lui Israel, nu vorbi împotriva casei lui Isaac!”

Now therefore hear the word of the LORD. “You say, ‘Do not prophesy against Israel, and do not preach against the house of Isaac.’

Ezért így szól az ÚR: Feleséged paráznává lesz a városban, fiaid és leányaid fegyver által hullanak el. Földedet fölosztják mérőkötéllel, te magad tisztátalan földön halsz meg, Izráelt pedig fogságba viszik földjéről.

Azért így szól az Úr: Feleséged paráznává lesz a városban; fiaid és leányaid fegyver által hullnak el; földedet felosztják kötéllel, és te magad tisztátalan földön halsz meg; az Izráel pedig fogságba vitetik az ő földéről.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

Din pricina aceasta, iată ce zice Domnul: „Nevasta ta va curvi în cetate, fiii şi fiicele tale vor cădea loviţi de sabie, ogorul tău va fi împărţit cu frânghia de măsurat; tu însă vei muri într-un pământ necurat, şi Israel va fi dus în robie departe de ţara lui!”

Therefore thus says the LORD: “‘Your wife shall be a prostitute in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided up with a measuring line; you yourself shall die in an unclean land, and Israel shall surely go into exile away from its land.’”
