Halljátok meg ezt a beszédet, amelyet az ÚR szól felőletek, Izráel fiai, az egész nemzetség felől, amelyet fölhozott Egyiptom földjéről:

Halljátok meg e beszédet, melyet az Úr szól ti felőletek, Izráel fiai; mindama nemzetség felől, a melyet felhoztam Égyiptom földéről, ezt mondván:

Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

Ascultaţi cuvântul acesta, pe care-l rosteşte Domnul împotriva voastră, copii ai lui Israel, împotriva întregii familii pe care am scos-o din ţara Egiptului!

Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O people of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt:

Csak titeket választottalak magamnak e föld minden nemzetsége közül, ezért büntetlek meg titeket minden gonoszságotokért.

Csak titeket választottalak magamnak e földnek minden nemzetségei közül; azért büntetlek meg titeket minden gonoszságtokért.

You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

„Eu v-am ales numai pe voi dintre toate familiile pământului: de aceea vă voi şi pedepsi pentru toate nelegiuirile voastre.”

“You only have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

Vajon járnak-e ketten együtt, ha nem egyeztek meg egymással?

Vajjon járnak-é ketten együtt, ha nem egyeztek meg egymással?

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Merg oare doi oameni împreună fără să fie învoiţi?

“Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?

Ordít-e az oroszlán az erdőben, ha nincs zsákmánya? Hallatja-e hangját barlangjából az oroszlánkölyök, ha semmit sem fogott?

Ordít-é az oroszlán az erdőben, ha nincs mit ragadoznia? Hallatja-é hangját barlangjából a kölyök-oroszlán, ha semmit nem fogott?!

Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?

Răcneşte leul în pădure, dacă n-are pradă? Zbiară puiul de leu din fundul vizuinii, lui dacă n-a prins nimic?

Does a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? Does a young lion cry out from his den, if he has taken nothing?

Csapdába esik-e a madár a földön, ha nem vetnek neki tőrt? Fölpattan-e a csapda a földről, ha semmit sem fogott?

Tőrbe esik-é a madár a földön, ha nincs tőr [vetve] néki? Felpattan-é a tőr a földről, ha fogni nem fogott?

Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?

Cade pasărea în laţul de pe pământ, dacă nu i s-a întins o cursă? Se ridică laţul de la pământ fără să se fi prins ceva în el?

Does a bird fall in a snare on the earth, when there is no trap for it? Does a snare spring up from the ground, when it has taken nothing?

Ha fölharsan a kürt a városban, nem riad-e meg a nép? Vajon ha baj van a városban, nem az ÚR szerzi azt?

Ha megharsan a kürt a városban, nem riad-é meg a nép? Vajjon lehet-é baj a városban, a mit nem az Úr szerezne?

Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Sau sună cineva cu trâmbiţa într-o cetate fără să se înspăimânte poporul? Sau se întâmplă o nenorocire într-o cetate fără s-o fi făcut Domnul?

Is a trumpet blown in a city, and the people are not afraid? Does disaster come to a city, unless the LORD has done it?

Az én Istenem, az ÚR, semmit sem cselekszik addig, míg meg nem jelenti titkát szolgáinak, a prófétáknak.

Mert semmit sem cselekszik az én Uram, az Úr, míg meg nem jelenti titkát az ő szolgáinak, a prófétáknak.

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Nu, Domnul Dumnezeu nu face nimic fără să-Şi descopere taina Sa slujitorilor Săi proroci.

“For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.

Ha az oroszlán ordít, ki ne rettegne? Ha az ÚR, az én Istenem szól, ki ne prófétálna?

Ordít az oroszlán: ki ne rettegne? Az én Uram, az Úr szólt: ki ne prófétálna?

The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

Leul răcneşte: cine nu se va speria? Domnul Dumnezeu vorbeşte: cine nu va proroci?

The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken; who can but prophesy?”

Adjatok hírt Asdód palotáiból és az Egyiptomban levő palotákból, és így szóljatok: Gyűljetek össze Samária hegyein, lássátok meg, milyen nagy a háborgás és az elnyomás benne!

Adjatok hírt Asdód palotáiban és az Égyiptom földében való palotákban, és így szóljatok: Gyűljetek össze Samariának hegyein, és lássátok meg benne a sok háborgást, és az elnyomottakat az ő keblében.

Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.

„Strigaţi de pe acoperişul palatelor Asdodului şi de pe palatele ţării Egiptului şi spuneţi: „Strângeţi-vă pe munţii Samariei şi vedeţi ce neorânduială mare este în mijlocul ei, ce asupriri sunt în ea!

Proclaim to the strongholds in Ashdod and to the strongholds in the land of Egypt, and say, “Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria, and see the great tumults within her, and the oppressed in her midst.”

Mert nem tudnak helyesen cselekedni – ezt mondja az ÚR. Halomra gyűjtik a kincset palotáikban erőszakossággal és zsarolással.

Mert nem tudnak igazán cselekedni, azt mondja az Úr, ők, a kik halomra gyűjtik az erőszakosságot és zsarolást az ő palotáikban.

For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

Nu sunt în stare să lucreze cu neprihănire, zice Domnul, ci îşi îngrămădesc în palate comori câştigate prin silnicie şi răpire.”

“They do not know how to do right,” declares the LORD, “those who store up violence and robbery in their strongholds.”

Ezért azt mondja az én Istenem, az ÚR: Ellenség veszi körül ezt a földet, ledönti hatalmadat, és feldúlja palotáidat.

Annakokáért ezt mondja az Úr Isten: Ellenség [jön] és körülveszi [e] földet; ledönti hatalmadat és feldúlatnak a te palotáid.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Vrăjmaşul va împresura ţara, îţi va doborî tăria, şi palatele tale vor fi jefuite!”

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “An adversary shall surround the land and bring down your defenses from you, and your strongholds shall be plundered.”

Ezt mondja az ÚR: Ahogyan a pásztor az oroszlán szájából csak a két lábszárat vagy a fül hegyét menti meg, úgy menekülnek meg Izráel fiai, akik Samáriában a pamlagok sarkán és a nyugágyak damasztján ülnek.

Ezt mondja az Úr: A mint a pásztor az oroszlán szájából csak a két lábszárt menti meg, vagy a fül hegyét; akképen menekülnek meg Izráel fiai, a kik Samariában pamlag szegletében ülnek és a nyugágynak selymén.

Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „După cum păstorul scapă din gura leului numai două bucăţi de picioare sau un vârf de ureche, aşa vor scăpa copiii lui Israel care stau în Samaria în colţul unui pat şi pe covoare de Damasc!”

Thus says the LORD: “As the shepherd rescues from the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the people of Israel who dwell in Samaria be rescued, with the corner of a couch and part of a bed.

Halljátok meg, és tegyetek tanúbizonyságot Jákób házának – ezt mondja az én Istenem, az ÚR, a Seregek Istene –,

Halljátok meg és adjátok tudtára a Jákób házának, azt mondja az Úr Isten, a Seregek Istene,

Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,

Ascultaţi şi spuneţi lucrul acesta casei lui Iacov, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, Dumnezeul oştirilor:

“Hear, and testify against the house of Jacob,” declares the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,

amely napon megbüntetem Izráelt bűneiért, Bételt is megbüntetem oltáraiért. Letörnek az oltár szarvai, és a földre omlanak.

Hogy a mely napon megbüntetem Izráelt az ő vétkeiért, Béth-El oltáraiért is büntetek, és letöretnek az oltár szarvai, és a földre omlanak.

That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.

„În ziua când voi pedepsi pe Israel pentru fărădelegile lui, voi pedepsi şi altarele din Betel; coarnele altarului vor fi sfărâmate şi vor cădea la pământ.

“that on the day I punish Israel for his transgressions, I will punish the altars of Bethel, and the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground.

Ledöntöm a téli házat a nyári házzal együtt, elpusztulnak az elefántcsont házak, és megsemmisülnek a nagy házak – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És ledöntöm a téli házat a nyári házzal együtt, és elpusztulnak az elefántcsont-házak is, megsemmisülnek a nagy házak, ezt mondja az Úr.

And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.

Voi surpa casele de iarnă şi casele de vară; palatele de fildeş se vor duce, şi casele cele multe se vor nimici, zice Domnul.”

I will strike the winter house along with the summer house, and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall come to an end,” declares the LORD.
