Ámósz beszédei, aki a tekóabeli pásztorokhoz tartozott. Ezt látta Izráelről Uzzijjának, Júda királyának az idejében és Jeroboámnak, Jóás fiának, Izráel királyának az idejében, két esztendővel a földindulás előtt.

Ámós beszédei, a ki a Tékoabeli pásztorok közt volt, [azokról,] a miket Izráel felől látott Uzziásnak, Júda királyának idejében, és Jeroboámnak, a Jóás fiának, Izráel királyának idejében, két esztendővel a földindulás előtt.

The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Cuvintele lui Amos, unul din păstorii din Tecoa, vedeniile pe care le-a avut el despre Israel, pe vremea lui Ozia, împăratul lui Iuda, şi pe vremea lui Ieroboam, fiul lui Ioas, împăratul lui Israel, cu doi ani înaintea cutremurului de pământ.

The words of Amos, who was among the shepherds of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Ezt mondta: Fölharsan az ÚR hangja a Sionról, fölzendül Jeruzsálemből. Gyászolnak a pásztorok legelői, és elszárad a Karmel teteje.

És mondá: A Sionról megharsan az Úr és Jeruzsálemből megzendül, és elhervadnak a pásztorok legelői, és megszárad a Kármel teteje.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

El a zis: „Domnul răcneşte din Sion, glasul Lui răsună din Ierusalim. Păşunile păstorilor jelesc, şi vârful Carmelului este uscat.”

And he said: “The LORD roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withers.”

Így szól az ÚR: Damaszkusz három, sőt négy bűne miatt nem változtatok szándékomon. Mivel vas cséplőszánokkal csépelték Gileádot,

Így szól az Úr: Három bűne miatt Damaskusnak, sőt négy miatt, nem fordítom el, mert vas-cséplőkkel cséplették meg a Gileádot.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Pentru trei nelegiuiri ale Damascului, ba pentru patru, nu-Mi schimb hotărârea, pentru că au treierat Galaadul cu treierătoarea de fier.

Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing sledges of iron.

tüzet küldök Hazáél házára, és az megemészti Ben-Hadad palotáit.

Tüzet vetek azért Hazáel házára, és az emészti meg a Ben-Hadad palotáit.

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad.

De aceea voi trimite foc în casa lui Hazael, care va mistui palatele lui Ben-Hadad.

So I will send a fire upon the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the strongholds of Ben-hadad.

Letöröm Damaszkusz zárait, kiirtom az Aven völgyében lakókat és azt, aki a jogart tartja Bét-Édenben. Fogságba megy Arám népe Kírbe – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És összetöröm Damaskus zárját, és kivágom a lakót Avennek völgyéből és a királyi pálcza tartóját Beth-Édenből, és Aramnak népe Kirbe fogva vitetik, [ezt] mondja az Úr.

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

Voi sfărâma zăvoarele Damascului şi voi nimici cu desăvârşire pe locuitorii din Bicat-Aven, împreună cu cel ce ţine toiagul de cârmuire în Bet-Eden; şi poporul Siriei va fi dus rob la Chir, zice Domnul.”

I will break the gate-bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitants from the Valley of Aven, and him who holds the scepter from Beth-eden; and the people of Syria shall go into exile to Kir,” says the LORD.

Így szól az ÚR: Gáza három, sőt négy bűne miatt nem változtatok szándékomon. Mivel az összes foglyot rabságba vitték, és az edómiaknak adták át őket,

Így szól az Úr: Három bűne miatt Gázának, sőt négy miatt, nem fordítom el, mert az egész népet rabságra vitték, hogy az Edomitáknak adják el őket.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Pentru trei nelegiuiri ale Gazei, ba pentru patru, nu-Mi schimb hotărârea, pentru că au luat pe toţi oamenii prinşi de război şi i-au dat Edomului:

Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they carried into exile a whole people to deliver them up to Edom.

Tüzet vetek azért Gáza kőfalára, és az emészti meg az ő palotáit.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

de aceea voi trimite foc în zidurile Gazei, şi-i va mistui palatele.

So I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, and it shall devour her strongholds.

Kiirtom a lakosokat Asdódból és Askelónból azt, aki a jogart tartja. Azután Ekrón ellen fordítom a kezemet, és elvész a filiszteusok maradéka is – ezt mondja az én Istenem, az ÚR.

És kivágom a lakót Asdódból, és a királyi pálcza tartóját Askelonból, és Akronra is majd rávetem kezemet és a Filiszteusok maradéka elvész, azt mondja az én Uram, az Úr.

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

Voi nimici cu desăvârşire pe locuitorii din Asdod şi pe cel ce ţine toiagul împărătesc în Ascalon; Îmi voi întoarce mâna împotriva Ecronului, şi ce va mai rămâne din filisteni va pieri, zice Domnul Dumnezeu.”

I will cut off the inhabitants from Ashdod, and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; I will turn my hand against Ekron, and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,” says the Lord GOD.

Így szól az ÚR: Tírusz három, sőt négy bűne miatt nem változtatok szándékomon. Mivel az egész fogoly népet Edómnak adták, és nem tartották számon a testvéri szövetséget,

Így szól az Úr: Három bűne miatt Tírusnak, sőt négy miatt, nem fordítom el, mert az egész rabnépet Edomnak adták át, és nem emlékeztek meg a testvéri frigyről.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Pentru trei nelegiuiri ale Tirului, ba pentru patru, nu-Mi schimb hotărârea, pentru că au luat pe toţi oamenii prinşi de război şi i-au dat Edomului, şi nu s-au gândit la legământul frăţesc.

Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they delivered up a whole people to Edom, and did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.

tüzet küldök Tírusz kőfalára, és megemészti palotáit.

Tüzet vetek azért Tírus kőfalára, és az emészti meg az ő palotáit.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.

De aceea voi trimite foc în zidurile Tirului, şi-i va mistui palatele.”

So I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, and it shall devour her strongholds.”

Így szól az ÚR: Edóm három, sőt négy bűne miatt nem változtatok szándékomon. Mivel fegyverrel űzte saját testvérét, és elfojtotta szívében az irgalmasságot, szüntelen tombolt haragja, és mindvégig kitartott dühében,

Így szól az Úr: Három bűne miatt Edomnak, sőt négy miatt, nem fordítom el, mert fegyverrel űzte saját atyjafiát, és elfojtá [szívében] az irgalmasságot, és haragja szüntelen tépett, és dühösködését mindvégig fentartotta.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Pentru trei nelegiuiri ale Edomului, ba pentru patru, nu-Mi schimb hotărârea, pentru că a urmărit pe fraţii săi cu sabia, înăbuşindu-şi mila, a dat drumul mâniei şi îşi ţinea întruna urgia.

Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity, and his anger tore perpetually, and he kept his wrath forever.

tüzet küldök Témánra, és megemészti Bocra palotáit.

Tüzet vetek azért Témánra, és az emészti majd meg Boczra palotáit.

But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

De aceea voi trimite foc peste Teman, şi va mistui palatele Boţrei.”

So I will send a fire upon Teman, and it shall devour the strongholds of Bozrah.”

Így szól az ÚR: Ammón három, sőt négy bűne miatt nem változtatok szándékomon. Mivel fölhasították Gileád várandós asszonyait, hogy kiszélesíthessék határukat,

Így szól az Úr: Három bűne miatt Ammon fiainak, sőt négy miatt, nem fordítom el; mert széthasogatták Gileád terhes asszonyait, hogy kiszélesíthessék az ő határokat.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Pentru trei nelegiuiri ale copiilor lui Amon, ba pentru patru, nu-Mi schimb hotărârea, pentru că au spintecat pântecele femeilor însărcinate ale Galaadului, ca să-şi mărească ţinutul:

Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of the Ammonites, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have ripped open pregnant women in Gilead, that they might enlarge their border.

tüzet küldök Rabbá kőfalára, és megemészti palotáit harci zajban, a háború napján, pusztító viharral a szélvész napján.

Tüzet vetek azért Rabba kőfalára, és az emészti meg az ő palotáit; [harczi] kiáltással a háború napján, [pusztító ]viharral a szélvésznek napján.

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

de aceea voi aprinde focul în zidurile Rabei, şi-i va mistui palatele, în mijlocul strigătelor de război, în ziua luptei, şi în mijlocul vijeliei, în ziua furtunii.

So I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour her strongholds, with shouting on the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind;

Királyuk számkivetésbe megy, és fejedelmei is vele mennek – ezt mondja az ÚR!

És számkivetésbe megy az ő királyuk; ő maga és vele fejedelmei is, [ezt] mondja az Úr!

And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.

Şi împăratul lor va merge în robie, el şi căpeteniile lui împreună cu el, zice Domnul.”

and their king shall go into exile, he and his princes together,” says the LORD.
