Halljátok meg ezt a beszédet, amelyet siratódalként mondok rólatok, Izráel háza!

Halljátok meg e beszédet, a melyet síródalként szólok ti rólatok, Izráelnek háza!

Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.

Ascultaţi cuvântul acesta, cântecul acesta de jale pe care-l fac pentru voi, casa lui Israel!

Hear this word that I take up over you in lamentation, O house of Israel:

Elesett, nem kel föl többé Izráel leánya. Végigterült földjén, és nincs, aki fölemelje.

Elesett, nem kel fel többé Izráelnek szűze; végig terült az ő földén, és nincs, a ki felemelné.

The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.

„A căzut, şi nu se va mai scula, fecioara lui Israel, stă trântită la pământ, şi nimeni n-o ridică.”

“Fallen, no more to rise, is the virgin Israel; forsaken on her land, with none to raise her up.”

Bizony – így szól az én Istenem, az ÚR –, az a város, amely ezerrel vonult ki, százzal marad csak meg, amelyik pedig százzal vonult ki, tízzel marad csak meg Izráel házának.

Bizony így szól az Úr Isten: A mely város ezerrel indult ki, százzal marad csak meg; a mely pedig százzal indult ki, tízzel marad csak meg Izráel házául.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Cetatea care scotea la luptă o mie de oameni nu va rămâne decât cu o sută, şi cea care scotea o sută de oameni nu va mai rămâne decât cu zece din casa lui Israel.”

For thus says the Lord GOD: “The city that went out a thousand shall have a hundred left, and that which went out a hundred shall have ten left to the house of Israel.”

Bizony – így szól az ÚR Izráel házához –, engem keressetek, és éltek!

Bizony így szól az Úr az Izráel házához: Engem keressetek, és éltek!

For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul către casa lui Israel: „Căutaţi-Mă, şi veţi trăi!

For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel: “Seek me and live;

Ne keressétek föl Bételt, Gilgálba se menjetek, Beérsebába se járjatok át. Mert Gilgál fogságba megy, Bétel pedig semmivé lesz.

És ne keressétek Béth-Elt; Gilgálba se menjetek; Beér-Sebába se menjetek át. Mert Gilgál fogságba megy. Béth-El pedig semmivé lesz.

But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.

Nu căutaţi Betelul, nu vă duceţi la Ghilgal şi nu treceţi la Beer-Şeba. Căci Ghilgalul va fi dus în robie, şi Betelul va fi nimicit.

but do not seek Bethel, and do not enter into Gilgal or cross over to Beersheba; for Gilgal shall surely go into exile, and Bethel shall come to nothing.”

Az URat keressétek, és éltek, különben rátör József házára, mint a tűz, és megemészti Bétel miatt, és nem lesz, aki eloltsa.

Keressétek az Urat, és éltek, különben reátör, mint a tűz, a József házára és megemészti Béth-Elt, és nem lesz, a ki megoltsa.

Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.

Căutaţi pe Domnul, şi veţi trăi! Temeţi-vă, ca nu cumva să apuce ca un foc casa lui Iosif, şi focul acesta s-o mistuie, fără să fie cineva la Betel ca să-l stingă,

Seek the LORD and live, lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and it devour, with none to quench it for Bethel,

Mert ürömmé változtatjátok az ítéletet, és földre tiporjátok az igazságot.

A kik ürömmé változtatják az ítéletet és az igazságot földre tiporják.

Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,

voi care prefaceţi dreptul în pelin şi călcaţi dreptatea în picioare!”

O you who turn justice to wormwood and cast down righteousness to the earth!

Ő alkotta a Fiastyúkot és a Kaszáscsillagot, ő változtatja reggellé a homályt, és a nappalt éjszakává sötétíti. Ő hívja elő a tenger vizét, és kiönti azt a föld színére. Az ÚR az ő neve.

A ki a fiastyúkot és a kaszáscsillagot teremtette; a ki reggellé változtatja a homályt és a nappalt éjszakává sötétíti; a ki hívja a tenger vizeit és kiönti azokat a földnek színére: az Úr annak a neve.

Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:

El a făcut Cloşca cu pui şi Orionul, El preface întunericul în zori, iar ziua în noapte neagră; El cheamă apele mării şi le varsă pe faţa pământului: Domnul este numele Lui.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the LORD is his name;

Pusztulással sújtja a hatalmasokat, és pusztulás száll az erődökre.

A ki pusztulással sujtja a hatalmasokat, és pusztulás száll az erősségekre.

That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.

El aduce ca fulgerul prăpădul peste cei puternici, aşa că nimicirea vine peste cetăţui.

who makes destruction flash forth against the strong, so that destruction comes upon the fortress.

Gyűlölik azt, aki feddni mer a kapuban, és utálják azt, aki feddhetetlenül beszél.

Gyűlölik azt, a ki feddőzik a kapuban, és útálják azt, a ki feddhetetlenül beszél.

They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.

Ei urăsc pe cel ce-i mustră la poarta cetăţii şi le este scârbă de cel ce vorbeşte din inimă.

They hate him who reproves in the gate, and they abhor him who speaks the truth.

Mivel eltiporjátok a szegényt, és gabonaadót szedtek tőle, ezért bár faragott kőből építetek házakat, nem laktok majd bennük; és bár gyönyörűséges szőlőket ültettek, de nem isztok annak a borából.

Annakokáért, mivelhogy tiportátok a szegényt és gabona-ajándékot vesztek tőle: bár faragott kőből építtetek házakat, de nem lakoztok azokban, bár gyönyörűséges szőlőket plántáltok, de nem isztok azoknak borából.

Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.

De aceea, pentru că pe sărac îl călcaţi în picioare şi luaţi daruri de grâu de la el, măcar că aţi zidit case de piatră cioplită, nu le veţi locui; măcar că aţi sădit vii foarte bune, nu veţi bea din vinul lor!

Therefore because you trample on the poor and you exact taxes of grain from him, you have built houses of hewn stone, but you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink their wine.

Mert tudom, hogy sok a bűnötök, és nagyok a vétkeitek! Az igazak nyomorgatói és váltságdíjszedők vagytok, és elnyomjátok a szegényt a kapuban!

Mert tudom, hogy sok a ti bűnötök, és nagyok a ti vétkeitek! Igazak nyomorgatói, váltságdíj-szedők [vagytok;] és elnyomják a szegényeket a kapuban!

For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.

„Căci Eu ştiu că nelegiuirile voastre sunt multe şi că păcatele voastre sunt fără număr: asupriţi pe cel drept, luaţi mită şi călcaţi în picioare la poarta cetăţii dreptul săracilor.”

For I know how many are your transgressions and how great are your sins— you who afflict the righteous, who take a bribe, and turn aside the needy in the gate.

Ezért hallgat az eszes abban az időben, mert gonosz idő az.

Azért hallgat az eszes ebben az időben, mert gonosz idő ez.

Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

De aceea, în vremuri ca acestea, înţeleptul trebuie să tacă; căci sunt vremuri rele.

Therefore he who is prudent will keep silent in such a time, for it is an evil time.

A jót keressétek, ne pedig a rosszat, hogy éljetek! Akkor veletek lesz az ÚR, a Seregek Istene, amint mondjátok is.

Keressétek a jót és ne a gonoszt, hogy éljetek, és akkor veletek lesz az Úr, a Seregek Istene, a mint mondjátok.

Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

Căutaţi binele, şi nu răul, ca să trăiţi, şi ca astfel, Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor să fie cu voi, cum spuneţi voi!

Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the LORD, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said.

Gyűlöljétek a gonoszt, és szeressétek a jót, állítsátok helyre az igazságot a kapuban: talán megkegyelmez József maradékának az ÚR, a Seregek Istene!

Gyűlöljétek a gonoszt és szeressétek a jót; állítsátok [vissza] a kapuban az igazságot; talán megkegyelmez az Úr, a Seregek Istene a József maradékinak.

Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Urâţi răul, şi iubiţi binele, faceţi să domnească dreptatea la poarta cetăţii; şi poate că Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor va avea milă de rămăşiţele lui Iosif.

Hate evil, and love good, and establish justice in the gate; it may be that the LORD, the God of hosts, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

Ezért azt mondja az ÚR, a Seregek Istene, az én Uram: Minden téren siralom lesz, és minden utcán azt mondják: Jaj, jaj! A szántóvetőt is gyászolni hívják és a siratókat siratásra.

Azt mondja azért az Úr, a Seregek Istene, az én Uram: Minden térségen siralom lesz és minden utczán ezt mondják: jaj, jaj! s a szántóvetőt [is] gyászra hívják, s a sírni tudókat siralomra;

Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the LORD, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor, Cel Atotputernic: „În toate pieţele se vor boci şi pe toate uliţele vor zice: „Vai! Vai!” Vor chema pe plugar la jale şi la bocire pe cei ce fac jelanii pentru morţi.

Therefore thus says the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord: “In all the squares there shall be wailing, and in all the streets they shall say, ‘Alas! Alas!’ They shall call the farmers to mourning and to wailing those who are skilled in lamentation,

Minden szőlőben siralom lesz, mert átvonulok közöttetek – ezt mondja az ÚR.

És minden szőlőben siralom lesz, mert átmegyek te közötted, ezt mondja az Úr.

And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.

În toate viile va fi bocet, când voi trece prin mijlocul tău, zice Domnul.

and in all vineyards there shall be wailing, for I will pass through your midst,” says the LORD.

Jaj azoknak, akik az ÚR napját kívánják! Mire való nektek az ÚR napja? Sötétség az, nem pedig világosság.

Jaj azoknak, a kik kívánják az Úrnak napját! Mire való néktek az Úrnak napja? Sötétség az és nem világosság.

Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

Vai de cei ce doresc „ziua Domnului”! Ce aşteptaţi voi de la ziua Domnului? Ea va fi întuneric, şi nu lumină.

Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! Why would you have the day of the LORD? It is darkness, and not light,

Olyan lesz, mint amikor valaki oroszlán elől szalad, és medve bukkan rá; vagy bemegy a házba, kezét a falhoz támasztja, és kígyó marja meg.

Mintha valaki oroszlán elől szaladna, és medve bukkanna rá; vagy pedig bemenne a házba és kezét a falhoz támasztaná, és kígyó marná meg.

As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

Veţi fi ca un om care fuge dinaintea unui leu pe care-l întâlneşte un urs şi care, când ajunge acasă, îşi reazemă mâna pe zid, şi-l muşcă un şarpe!

as if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him, or went into the house and leaned his hand against the wall, and a serpent bit him.

Hát nemde sötétség lesz az ÚR napja, nem pedig világosság? Homály lesz az, hajnalfény nélkül.

Nem sötétség lesz-é az Úrnak napja és nem világosság?! Sötétség lesz az, s még hajnalfénye sem lesz.

Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

Nu va fi oare ziua Domnului întuneric în loc de lumină? Nu va fi ea întunecoasă şi fără strălucire?

Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light, and gloom with no brightness in it?

Gyűlölöm, megvetem ünnepeiteket, nem gyönyörködöm összejöveteleitekben.

Gyűlölöm, megvetem a ti ünnepeiteket, és nem gyönyörködöm a ti összejöveteleitekben.

I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

Eu urăsc, dispreţuiesc sărbătorile voastre şi nu pot să vă sufăr adunările de sărbătoare!

“I hate, I despise your feasts, and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies.

Még ha égőáldozatokkal áldoztok is nekem, sőt ételáldozataitokkal, nem kedvelem őket; rá sem tekintek a kövérjéből való békeáldozataitokra.

Még ha égőáldozatokkal áldoztok is nékem, sőt ételáldozataitokat sem kedvelem; kövér hálaáldozataitokra rá se tekintek.

Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.

Când Îmi aduceţi arderi de tot şi daruri de mâncare, n-am nicio plăcere de ele; şi viţeii îngrăşaţi pe care-i aduceţi ca jertfe de mulţumire, nici nu Mă uit la ei.

Even though you offer me your burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; and the peace offerings of your fattened animals, I will not look upon them.

Távoztasd el tőlem énekeid zaját, nem akarom hallani hárfáid pengését.

Távoztasd el tőlem énekeid zaját, hárfáid pengését sem hallgathatom.

Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

Depărtează de Mine vuietul cântecelor tale; nu pot asculta sunetul lăutelor tale!

Take away from me the noise of your songs; to the melody of your harps I will not listen.

Hanem áradjon a törvény, mint a víz, és az igazság, mint a bővizű patak!

Hanem folyjon az ítélet, mint a víz, és az igazság, mint a bővizű patak.

But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

Ci dreptatea să curgă ca o apă curgătoare, şi neprihănirea, ca un pârâu care nu seacă niciodată!

But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

Vajon járultatok-e hozzám véresáldozatokkal és ételáldozatokkal a pusztában negyven éven át, ó, Izráel háza?

Járultatok-é hozzám véres áldozatokkal s ételáldozatokkal a pusztában negyven éven át, oh Izráel háza?!

Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?

Mi-aţi adus voi jertfe şi daruri de mâncare în timpul celor patruzeci de ani din pustiu, casa lui Israel?…

“Did you bring to me sacrifices and offerings during the forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

Majd vinni fogjátok királyotokat, Szikkútot, és Kijjúnt, csillagistenetek bálványképét, amelyet ti készítettetek magatoknak,

Majd viszitek hát Szikkútot, a ti királyotokat és Kijjunt, a ti képeiteket, a ti isteneitek csillagát, a melyet ti csináltatok magatoknak.

But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Veţi ridica, dar, pe Sacut, împăratul vostru, şi pe Caivan, chipurile voastre idoleşti, steaua dumnezeului vostru pe care vi l-aţi făcut,

You shall take up Sikkuth your king, and Kiyyun your star-god—your images that you made for yourselves,

mert Damaszkuszon túlra száműzlek titeket – ezt mondja az ÚR, akinek Seregek Istene a neve.

És Damaskuson túlra száműzlek titeket, azt mondja az Úr, a kinek neve Seregeknek Istene.

Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.

şi vă voi duce în robie dincolo de Damasc, zice Domnul al cărui nume este Dumnezeul oştirilor!”

and I will send you into exile beyond Damascus,” says the LORD, whose name is the God of hosts.
