The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.

Boldog, aki felolvassa, és akik hallgatják e prófétai beszédet, és megtartják azt, ami abban meg van írva, mert az idő közel van.

Boldog, a ki olvassa, és a kik hallgatják e prófétálásnak beszédeit, és megtartják azokat, a melyek megírattak abban; mert az idő közel van.

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Ferice de cine citeşte şi de cei ce ascultă cuvintele acestei prorocii şi păzesc lucrurile scrise în ea! Căci vremea este aproape!

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

János az Ázsiában levő hét gyülekezetnek: Kegyelem nektek és békesség attól, aki van, aki volt, és aki eljövendő, és a hét lélektől, akik a trónja előtt vannak,

John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

Ioan, către cele şapte biserici care sunt în Asia: Har şi pace vouă din partea Celui ce este, Celui ce era şi Celui ce vine, şi din partea celor şapte duhuri, care stau înaintea scaunului Său de domnie,

John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,

és Jézus Krisztustól, aki hű tanúbizonyság, elsőszülött a halottak közül, és a föld királyainak fejedelme, aki szeret minket, és vére által megszabadított bűneinktől,

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood

és királyságává tett minket és az ő Istenének és Atyjának papjaivá. Övé a dicsőség és hatalom mindörökkön-örökké! Ámen.

És tett minket királyokká és papokká az ő Istenének és Atyjának: annak dicsőség és hatalom mind örökkön örökké! Ámen.

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

şi a făcut din noi o împărăţie şi preoţi pentru Dumnezeu, Tatăl Său: a Lui să fie slava şi puterea în vecii vecilor! Amin.

and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Íme, eljön a felhőkkel, és minden szem meglátja őt, még azok is, akik átszegezték, és siratja őt a föld minden nemzetsége. Úgy van. Ámen.

Ímé eljő a felhőkkel; és minden szem meglátja őt, még a kik őt által szegezték is; és siratja őt e földnek minden nemzetsége. Úgy van. Ámen.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Iată că El vine pe nori. Şi orice ochi Îl va vedea; şi cei ce L-au străpuns. Şi toate seminţiile pământului se vor boci din pricina Lui! Da, Amin.

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

Én vagyok az Alfa és az Ómega (a kezdet és a vég), ezt mondja az Úr, az Isten, aki van, aki volt, és aki eljövendő, a Mindenható.

Én vagyok az Alfa és az Omega, kezdet és vég, ezt mondja az Úr, a ki van és a ki vala és a ki eljövendő, a Mindenható.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

„Eu sunt Alfa şi Omega, Începutul şi Sfârşitul”, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, „Cel ce este, Cel ce era şi Cel ce vine, Cel Atotputernic.”

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Én, János, testvéretek és társatok a Jézusban való szenvedésben, a királyságban és a béketűrésben, a Patmosz nevű szigeten voltam Isten beszédéért és Jézus bizonyságtételéért.

Én János, a ki néktek atyátokfia is vagyok, társatok is a Jézus Krisztus szenvedésében és királyságában és tűrésében, a szigeten valék, a mely Páthmósnak neveztetik, az Isten beszédéért és a Jézus Krisztus bizonyságtételéért.

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Eu, Ioan, fratele vostru, care sunt părtaş cu voi la necaz, la Împărăţie şi la răbdarea în Isus Hristos, mă aflam în ostrovul care se cheamă Patmos, din pricina Cuvântului lui Dumnezeu şi din pricina mărturiei lui Isus Hristos.

I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

Lélekben voltam ott az Úr napján, és a hátam mögött erős hangot hallottam, mint egy trombitáét,

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet

amely ezt mondta: Amit látsz, írd meg egy könyvben, és küldd el a hét gyülekezetnek: Efezusba, Szmirnába, Pergamonba, Thiatirába, Szárdiszba, Filadelfiába és Laodiceába.

A mely ezt mondja vala: Én vagyok az Alfa és az Omega, az Első és Utolsó; és: A mit látsz, írd meg könyvben, és küldd el a hét gyülekezetnek, a mely Ázsiában van, Efézusban, Smirnában, Pergámumban, Thiatirában, Sárdisban, Filadelfiában és Laodiczeában.

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

care zicea: „Eu sunt Alfa şi Omega, Cel Dintâi şi Cel de pe Urmă. Ce vezi, scrie într-o carte şi trimite-o celor şapte biserici: la Efes, Smirna, Pergam, Tiatira, Sardes, Filadelfia şi Laodiceea.”

saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

Megfordultam azért, hogy lássam a hangot, amely velem beszélt, és amint megfordultam, hét arany gyertyatartót láttam,

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands,

és a gyertyatartók között az Emberfiához hasonlót, aki bokáig érő ruhában volt, mellénél aranyövvel körülövezve.

And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Şi, în mijlocul celor şapte sfeşnice, pe Cineva care semăna cu Fiul omului, îmbrăcat cu o haină lungă până la picioare şi încins la piept cu un brâu de aur.

and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest.

A feje és a haja fehér volt, mint a hófehér gyapjú, szeme, mint a tűzláng,

Az ő feje pedig és a haja fehér vala, mint a fehér gyapjú, mint a hó; és a szemei olyanok, mint a tűzláng;

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

Capul şi părul Lui erau albe ca lâna albă, ca zăpada; ochii Lui erau ca para focului;

The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire,

lába pedig hasonló a kemencében izzó aranyfényű érchez, hangja pedig olyan volt, mint sok vizek zúgása.

És a lábai hasonlók valának az izzó fényű érczhez, mintha kemenczében tüzesedtek volna meg; a szava pedig olyan, mint a sok vizek zúgása.

And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

picioarele Lui erau ca arama aprinsă şi arsă într-un cuptor; şi glasul Lui era ca vuietul unor ape mari.

his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters.

Jobb kezében hét csillagot tartott, a szájából kétélű éles kard jött ki, és az arca olyan volt, mint mikor a nap teljes erejében fénylik.

Vala pedig a jobb kezében hét csillag; és a szájából kétélű éles kard jő vala ki; és az ő orczája, mint a nap [a mikor] fénylik az ő erejében.

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

În mâna dreaptă ţinea şapte stele. Din gura Lui ieşea o sabie ascuţită cu două tăişuri, şi faţa Lui era ca soarele când străluceşte în toată puterea lui.

In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.

Amikor megláttam, lába elé estem, mint egy halott, ő pedig rám tette jobb kezét, és így szólt: Ne félj, én vagyok az első és az utolsó

Mikor pedig láttam őt, leesém az ő lábaihoz, mint egy holt. És reám veté az ő jobbkezét, mondván nékem: Ne félj; én vagyok az Első és az Utolsó,

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last,

és az élő, pedig halott voltam, és íme, élek örökkön-örökké, és nálam vannak a halál és pokol kulcsai.

És az Élő; pedig halott valék, és ímé élek örökkön örökké Ámen, és nálam vannak a pokolnak és a halálnak kulcsai.

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Cel Viu. Am fost mort, şi iată că sunt viu în vecii vecilor. Eu ţin cheile morţii şi ale Locuinţei morţilor.

and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.

Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

Scrie, dar, lucrurile pe care le-ai văzut, lucrurile care sunt şi cele care au să fie după ele.

Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Taina celor şapte stele pe care le-ai văzut în mâna dreaptă a Mea şi a celor şapte sfeşnice de aur: cele şapte stele sunt îngerii celor şapte biserici; şi cele şapte sfeşnice sunt şapte biserici.

As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
