Féltőn szerető és bosszúálló Isten az ÚR, bosszúálló az ÚR, és haraggal teli. Bosszút áll ellenségein az ÚR, és haragtartó ellenfeleivel szemben.

Buzgón szerető és bosszúálló Isten az Úr, bosszúálló az Úr, és telve haraggal; bosszút áll az Úr az ő ellenségein, és [haragot] tartó az ő gyűlölői ellen.

God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

Domnul este un Dumnezeu gelos şi răzbunător; Domnul Se răzbună şi este plin de mânie; Domnul Se răzbună pe potrivnicii Lui şi ţine mânie pe vrăjmaşii Lui.

The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD is avenging and wrathful; the LORD takes vengeance on his adversaries and keeps wrath for his enemies.

Hosszútűrő az ÚR, de nagy hatalmú, és nem hagy az ÚR büntetés nélkül. Szélvészben és viharban visz az ÚR útja, és a felhő lábainak pora.

Hosszútűrő az Úr és nagyhatalmú, és nem hagy büntetlenül. Szélvészben és viharban van az Úrnak útja, és lábainak pora a felhő.

The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Domnul este îndelung răbdător, dar de o mare tărie; şi nu lasă nepedepsit pe cel rău. Domnul umblă în furtună şi în vârtej, şi norii sunt praful picioarelor Lui.

The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and the LORD will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Megfeddi a tengert és kiszárítja, minden folyót kiapaszt. Elhervad a Básán és a Karmel, a Libánon virágai is elfonnyadnak.

Megfeddi a tengert és kiapasztja azt, és minden folyamot kiszáraszt. Elfonnyad a Básán és a Kármel, és a Libánon virága elfonnyad.

He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.

El mustră marea şi o usucă, face să sece toate râurile; Basanul şi Carmelul tânjesc, şi floarea Libanului se veştejeşte.

He rebukes the sea and makes it dry; he dries up all the rivers; Bashan and Carmel wither; the bloom of Lebanon withers.

Rengenek előtte a hegyek, és a halmok szétmállanak. Tekintetétől megrendül a föld, a teljes földkerekség és minden, ami rajta él.

A hegyek reszketnek előtte, és a halmok szétmállanak. Tekintetétől megrendül a föld, és a világ, és minden, a mi rajta él.

The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

Se clatină munţii înaintea Lui, şi dealurile se topesc; se cutremură pământul înaintea Lui, lumea şi toţi locuitorii ei.

The mountains quake before him; the hills melt; the earth heaves before him, the world and all who dwell in it.

Ki állhatna meg haragja előtt, és ki bírhatná ki fölháborodásának tüzét? Izzó haragja árad, mint a tűz, a sziklák is szétporladnak előtte.

Ki állhatna meg haragja előtt, és ki birhatná ki búsulásának tüzét? Heve szétfoly, mint a láng, és a kőszálak is szétporlanak tőle.

Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

Cine poate sta înaintea urgiei Lui? Şi cine poate ţine piept mâniei Lui aprinse? Urgia Lui se varsă ca focul, şi se prăbuşesc stâncile înaintea Lui.

Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the heat of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken into pieces by him.

Jó az ÚR, menedék a szorongattatás idején, és ő ismeri a benne bízókat.

Jó az Úr, erősség a szorongatás idején, és ő ismeri a benne bízókat.

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Domnul este bun; El este un loc de scăpare în ziua necazului; şi cunoaşte pe cei ce se încred în El.

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.

De lezúduló árként pusztítja el ellenségeit, és ellenfeleit sötétség üldözi.

De gáttörő árvízként pusztít annak helyén, és gyűlölőit setétség üldözi.

But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

Dar cu nişte valuri ce se varsă peste mal va nimici cetatea Ninive şi va urmări pe vrăjmaşii Lui până în întuneric.

But with an overflowing flood he will make a complete end of the adversaries, and will pursue his enemies into darkness.

Mit koholtok az ÚR ellen? Ha pusztulással sújt, nem kell kétszer veszedelem.

Mit koholtok az Úr ellen? Elpusztít ő, nem lészen kétszer veszedelem.

What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

Ce planuri faceţi voi împotriva Domnului? El le zădărniceşte! Nenorocirea nu va veni de două ori.

What do you plot against the LORD? He will make a complete end; trouble will not rise up a second time.

Ha annyira összefonódnak is, mint a tüskebokrok, és ha olyan ázottak is, mint az ittasok, akkor is megégnek, mint a teljesen kiszáradt tarló.

For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.

Căci vor fi ca nişte mănunchiuri de spini încâlciţi, şi, tocmai când vor fi beţi de vinul lor, vor fi mistuiţi de foc ca o mirişte de tot uscată.

For they are like entangled thorns, like drunkards as they drink; they are consumed like stubble fully dried.

There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.

Din tine, Ninive, a ieşit cel ce urzea rele împotriva Domnului, cel ce făcea planuri răutăcioase.

From you came one who plotted evil against the LORD, a worthless counselor.

Így szól az ÚR: Ha teljes erőben és sokan vannak is, mégis levágják őket, és elmúlnak. Bár megaláztalak téged, többé nem foglak megalázni.

Így szól az Úr: Ha teljes erőben és sokan vannak is, mégis levágatnak és elenyésznek. Megaláztalak téged, de nem foglak többé megalázni.

Thus saith the LORD; Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Oricât de mulţi şi puternici vor fi, toţi vor fi seceraţi şi vor pieri. Chiar dacă te-am întristat, Ierusalime, nu te voi mai întrista…

Thus says the LORD, “Though they are at full strength and many, they will be cut down and pass away. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.

Most már letöröm rólad az igáját, és leszaggatom köteleidet.

Most már leveszem rólad az ő igáját, és bilincseidet leszaggatom.

For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.

Ci îi voi sfărâma jugul acum de pe tine şi-ţi voi rupe legăturile…”

And now I will break his yoke from off you and will burst your bonds apart.”

Felőled pedig azt rendeli az ÚR: Ne legyen utódod, aki nevedet viselné. Isteneid házából kiveszítem a faragott és öntött bálványképeket. Megásom sírodat, mert átkozott vagy!

Felőled pedig azt rendeli az Úr: Nevednek ne támadjon többé magva; isteneid házából kivesztem a faragott és öntött képeket; megásom sírodat, mert becstelen vagy.

And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

Iată ce a poruncit însă Domnul împotriva ta, Asur: „Nu vei mai avea urmaşi care să-ţi poarte numele; voi ridica din casa dumnezeului tău chipurile cioplite sau turnate; îţi voi pregăti mormântul, căci te-ai aflat prea uşor.”

The LORD has given commandment about you: “No more shall your name be perpetuated; from the house of your gods I will cut off the carved image and the metal image. I will make your grave, for you are vile.”

Íme, a hegyeken van már az örömhírt hozó lába, aki békességet hirdet. Ünnepeld, Júda, ünnepeidet, teljesítsd fogadalmaidat, mert többé nem vonul át rajtad a semmirekellő: mindenestül elpusztult.

Ímé a hegyeken örömhírhozónak lábai! Békességet hirdet. Ünnepeld Júda ünnepeidet, fizesd le fogadásaidat; mert nem vonul át rajtad többé a semmirekellő; mindenestől kiirtatott.

Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

Iată pe munţi picioarele solului care vesteşte pacea! Prăznuieşte-ţi sărbătorile, Iudo, împlineşte-ţi juruinţele! Căci cel rău nu va mai trece prin mijlocul tău, este nimicit cu desăvârşire…

Behold, upon the mountains, the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace! Keep your feasts, O Judah; fulfill your vows, for never again shall the worthless pass through you; he is utterly cut off.
