Jaj nekem, mert úgy jártam, mint amikor a gyümölcsöt szedik, és a szőlőt szüretelik, de egy enni való fürt sem maradt, sem egy korai füge, amelyre vágyott a lelkem!

Jaj nékem, mert olyanná lettem, mint a letakarított mező, mint a megszedett szőlő: egy enni való gerezd sem maradott; [pedig] zsengére vágyott a lelkem!

Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.

Vai de mine! Căci parcă sunt la strângerea poamelor şi la strângerea bobiţelor după culesul strugurilor: nu mai este niciun strugure de mâncare, nici cea dintâi smochină dorită de sufletul meu!

Woe is me! For I have become as when the summer fruit has been gathered, as when the grapes have been gleaned: there is no cluster to eat, no first-ripe fig that my soul desires.

Kiveszett e földről a kegyes, és nincs igaz az emberek között. Mindnyájan vérszomjasan ólálkodnak, mindenki hálóval vadássza testvérét.

Elveszett e földről a kegyes, és igaz sincs az emberek között. Mindnyájan vér után ólálkodnak, kiki hálóval vadássza atyjafiát.

The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

S-a dus omul de bine din ţară şi nu mai este niciun om cinstit printre oameni; toţi stau la pândă ca să verse sânge, fiecare întinde o cursă fratelui său.

The godly has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among mankind; they all lie in wait for blood, and each hunts the other with a net.

A kezük gyakorlottan viszi véghez a gonoszt. A fejedelem követelőzik, és a bíró fizetségre vár. A főember is elmondja lelke kívánságát, és összeszövetkeznek.

Gonoszságra [készek] a kezek, hogy jól vigyék véghez; a fejedelem követelőzik, és a biró fizetésre [vár;] a főember is maga mondja el lelke kívánságát, és összeszövik azt.

That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

Mâinile lor sunt îndreptate să facă rău: cârmuitorul cere daruri, judecătorul cere plată, cel mare îşi arată pe faţă ce doreşte cu lăcomie, şi astfel merg mână-n mână.

Their hands are on what is evil, to do it well; the prince and the judge ask for a bribe, and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul; thus they weave it together.

Aki a legjobb közöttük, olyan, mint a tüskebokor, a legigazabb pedig rosszabb, mint a tövisbokor. Eljött őrállóid napja és a te büntetésed: most következik a zűrzavar.

A ki jó közöttök, olyan mint a tüske, az igaz olyan, mint a tövisbokor. A te őrállóidnak napja, a te megítélésed eljött; most következik el az ő zűrzavaruk.

The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

Cel mai bun dintre ei este ca un mărăcine, cel mai cinstit este mai rău decât un tufiş de spini. Ziua vestită de toţi prorocii Tăi, pedeapsa Ta se apropie! Atunci va fi uluiala lor.

The best of them is like a brier, the most upright of them a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, of your punishment, has come; now their confusion is at hand.

Ne higgyetek a barátnak, ne bízzatok az ismerősökben! Az öledben ülő előtt is zárd be szád ajtaját.

Ne higyjetek a barátnak; ne bízzatok a tanácsadóban; az öledben ülő előtt [is] zárd be szádnak ajtaját.

Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

Nu crede pe un prieten, nu te încrede în ruda cea mai de aproape; păzeşte-ţi uşa gurii de cea care îţi stă în braţe!

Put no trust in a neighbor; have no confidence in a friend; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms;

Mert a fiú bolondnak tartja apját, a leány anyja ellen támad, a meny pedig anyósa ellen: az embernek a saját háza népe az ellensége.

Mert a fiú bolondnak tartja atyját, a leány anyja ellen támad, a meny az ő napára; az embernek saját háznépe az ellensége.

For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

Căci fiul batjocoreşte pe tatăl, fata se scoală împotriva mamei ei, nora, împotriva soacrei sale; vrăjmaşii omului sunt cei din casa lui! –

for the son treats the father with contempt, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

De én az ÚRra nézek, várom szabadító Istenemet. Meghallgat engem az én Istenem!

De én az Úrra nézek, várom az én szabadításom Istenét; meghallgat engem az én Istenem!

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

Eu însă voi privi spre Domnul, îmi voi pune nădejdea în Dumnezeul mântuirii mele; Dumnezeul meu mă va asculta.

But as for me, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.

Ne örülj, ellenségem! Ha elesem is, fölkelek, még ha a sötétségben laknék is, az ÚR az én világosságom.

Ne örülj, én ellenségem! Elestem ugyan, de felkelek, mert ha még a setétségben ülnék [is,] az Úr az én világosságom!

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

Nu te bucura de mine, vrăjmaşă, căci, chiar dacă am căzut, mă voi scula iarăşi, chiar dacă stau în întuneric, totuşi Domnul este lumina mea!

Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me.

Az ÚR haragját hordozom, mert vétkeztem ellene, de majd lefolytatja peremet, és meghozza ítéletemet. Kivisz engem a világosságra, és meglátom igazságát.

Az Úr haragját hordozom, mert vétkeztem ellene; mindaddig, a míg leperli peremet és meghozza ítéletemet. Kivisz engem a világosságra, meglátom az ő igazságát.

I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

Voi suferi mânia Domnului, căci am păcătuit împotriva Lui – până ce El îmi va apăra pricina şi-mi va face dreptate; El mă va scoate la lumină, şi voi privi dreptatea Lui.

I will bear the indignation of the LORD because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light; I shall look upon his vindication.

Meglátja majd ellenségem is, és szégyen borítja el azt, aki azt mondta nekem: Hol az ÚR, a te Istened? Szemem látja majd, hogy íme, széttapossák, mint az utca sarát.

De meglátja ellenségem is és szégyen borítja el, a ki ezt mondja nékem: Hol az Úr, a te Istened? Meglátják őt az én szemeim, hogy ímé széttapostatik, mint az utcza-sár.

Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

Când va vedea vrăjmaşa mea lucrul acesta, va fi acoperită de ruşine, ea care-mi zicea: „Unde este Domnul Dumnezeul tău?” Ochii mei îşi vor vedea dorinţa împlinită faţă de ea. Atunci ea va fi călcată în picioare ca noroiul de pe uliţă.

Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is the LORD your God?” My eyes will look upon her; now she will be trampled down like the mire of the streets.

Eljön falaid fölépítésének napja. Azon a napon kibővül a határ!

Falaid megépítésének napja! e napon távol lesz a törvény!

In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed.

În ziua când îţi vor zidi iarăşi zidurile, în ziua aceea ţi se vor lărgi hotarele.

A day for the building of your walls! In that day the boundary shall be far extended.

Azon a napon eljönnek hozzád Asszíriából és Egyiptom városaiból, Egyiptomtól a folyamig, a tengertől a tengerig és a hegyektől a hegyekig.

Azon a na[pon] eljőnek hozzád Assiriából és Égyiptom városaiból; Égyiptomtól a folyamig, tengertől tengerig és hegytől hegyig.

In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.

În ziua aceea, vor veni la tine, din Asiria până în Egipt, din Egipt până la Râu, de la o mare la alta, şi de la un munte la altul.

In that day they will come to you, from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, and from Egypt to the River, from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain.

Pusztává lesz a föld a lakói miatt, cselekedeteik gyümölcsei miatt.

És pusztává lesz a föld az ő lakói miatt, az ő cselekedeteik gyümölcséért.

Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

Dar mai întâi ţara va fi pustiită din pricina locuitorilor ei, în urma faptelor lor rele.

But the earth will be desolate because of its inhabitants, for the fruit of their deeds.

Legeltesd botoddal népedet, örökséged nyáját, amely magányosan lakik az erdőben, a Karmel közepén. Legeljenek Básánban és Gileádban, mint a hajdankor napjaiban!

Legeltesd népedet a te vessződdel, a te örökségednek nyáját, a mely magánosan lakozik az erdőben, a Kármel közepén. Legeljenek Básánban és Gileádban, mint a hajdankor napjain!

Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

Paşte-Ţi poporul cu toiagul Tău, paşte turma moştenirii Tale care locuieşte singură în pădurea din mijlocul Carmelului; ca să pască pe Basan şi în Galaad, ca în zilele de altădată.

Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your inheritance, who dwell alone in a forest in the midst of a garden land; let them graze in Bashan and Gilead as in the days of old.

Csodákat láttatok veled, mint az Egyiptom földjéről való kijöveteled idején.

Mint az Égyiptom földéről kijövetelednek idején, láttatok vele csodadolgokat.

According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.

„Îţi voi arăta lucruri minunate, zice Domnul, ca în ziua când ai ieşit din ţara Egiptului.”

As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them marvelous things.

Látják ezt a népek, és szégyent vallanak minden erejükkel. Kezüket szájukra teszik, fülük megsüketül.

Látják [ezt] a pogányok és megszégyenülnek minden erejökkel. Kezöket szájokra teszik, füleik megsiketülnek;

The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

Neamurile vor vedea lucrul acesta şi se vor ruşina, cu toată puterea lor; vor pune mâna la gură şi îşi vor astupa urechile.

The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might; they shall lay their hands on their mouths; their ears shall be deaf;

A port nyalják, mint a kígyó, mint a föld férgei, reszketve jönnek elő rejtekeikből. Remegve folyamodnak az ÚRhoz, a mi Istenünkhöz, és félnek majd tőled!

Nyalják a port, mint a kígyó, mint a föld férgei; reszketve jőnek rejtekeikből; remegve folyamodnak az Úrhoz, a mi Istenünkhöz, és félnek tetőled!

They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

Vor linge pulberea ca şarpele; vor ieşi tremurând ca târâtoarele pământului, afară din cetăţuile lor, vor veni pline de frică înaintea Domnului Dumnezeului nostru şi se vor teme de Tine.

they shall lick the dust like a serpent, like the crawling things of the earth; they shall come trembling out of their strongholds; they shall turn in dread to the LORD our God, and they shall be in fear of you.

Kicsoda olyan Isten, mint te, aki megbocsátja a bűnt, és elengedi öröksége maradékának büntetését? Nem tartja meg haragját örökké, mert gyönyörködik az irgalmasságban!

Kicsoda olyan Isten, mint te, a ki megbocsátja a bűnt és elengedi öröksége maradékának vétkét?! Nem tartja meg haragját örökké, mert gyönyörködik az irgalmasságban!

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Care Dumnezeu este ca Tine, care ierţi nelegiuirea şi treci cu vederea păcatele rămăşiţei moştenirii Tale? – El nu-Şi ţine mânia pe vecie, ci Îi place îndurarea!

Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love.

Hozzánk fordul, és megkönyörül rajtunk, eltapossa álnokságainkat. A tenger mélyébe veted minden bűnünket!

Hozzánk térvén, könyörül rajtunk; eltapodja álnokságainkat. Bizony a tenger mélységébe veted minden bűnünket!

He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

El va avea iarăşi milă de noi, va călca în picioare nelegiuirile noastre, şi vei arunca în fundul mării toate păcatele lor.

He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

Hűséget mutatsz Jákóbnak, irgalmasságot Ábrahámnak, amint megesküdtél atyáinknak még a régmúlt időkben.

Hűséget mutatsz a Jákóbnak, irgalmasságot Ábrahámnak, a mint megesküdtél atyáinknak még az ősidőkben.

Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

Vei da cu credincioşie lui Iacov şi vei ţine cu îndurare faţă de Avraam ce ai jurat părinţilor noştri în zilele de odinioară.

You will show faithfulness to Jacob and steadfast love to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
