Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

Acum, strânge-ţi rândurile în cetate, ceata Sionului, căci suntem împresuraţi! Judecătorul lui Israel este lovit cu nuiaua pe obraz!

Now muster your troops, O daughter of troops; siege is laid against us; with a rod they strike the judge of Israel on the cheek.

De te, Efrátának Betleheme, bár kicsiny vagy Júda nemzetségei között, belőled származik az, aki uralkodni fog Izráelen; akinek származása a kezdetekig nyúlik vissza, az ősidők napjáig.

De te, Efratának Bethleheme, bár kicsiny vagy a Júda ezrei között: belőled származik nékem, a ki uralkodó az Izráelen; a kinek származása eleitől fogva, öröktől fogva van.

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

„Şi tu, Betleeme Efrata, măcar că eşti prea mic între cetăţile de căpetenie ale lui Iuda, totuşi din tine Îmi va ieşi Cel ce va stăpâni peste Israel şi a cărui obârşie se suie până în vremuri străvechi, până în zilele veşniciei.”

But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.

Ezért csak addig adja oda őket, amíg a szülő asszony szül, de testvéreinek maradékai visszatérnek Izráel fiaihoz.

Azért odaadja őket, míg a szűlő szűl, de az ő atyjafiainak maradékai visszatérnek Izráel fiaihoz.

Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

De aceea, îi va lăsa până la vremea când va naşte cea care are să nască, şi rămăşiţa fraţilor Săi se va întoarce la copiii lui Israel.

Therefore he shall give them up until the time when she who is in labor has given birth; then the rest of his brothers shall return to the people of Israel.

Odaáll, és az ÚR erejével legeltet, az ÚRnak, Istenének fenséges nevével. Biztonságban laknak, mert nagy lesz ő egészen a föld határáig.

És megáll, és legeltet az Úrnak erejével, az Úrnak az ő Istenének fenséges nevével, és [bátorsággal] lakoznak, mert ímé felmagasztaltatik a földnek határáig.

And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

El Se va înfăţişa şi va cârmui cu puterea Domnului şi cu măreţia Numelui Domnului Dumnezeului Său: vor locui liniştiţi, căci El va fi proslăvit până la marginile pământului.

And he shall stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they shall dwell secure, for now he shall be great to the ends of the earth.

Ő a mi békességünk. Ha Asszíria fölvonul földünkre, és megtapossa palotáinkat, hét pásztort és nyolc fejedelmi férfit állítunk szembe vele.

És ő a [mi] békesség[ünk]. Ha az Assirus eljő a mi földünkre és megtapodja palotáinkat: állatunk ellene hét pásztort és nyolcz fejedelmi férfiút.

And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

El va fi pacea noastră! Când va veni asirianul în ţara noastră şi va pătrunde în palatele noastre, vom ridica împotriva lui şapte păstori şi opt căpetenii ale poporului.

And he shall be their peace. When the Assyrian comes into our land and treads in our palaces, then we will raise against him seven shepherds and eight princes of men;

Karddal legeltetik majd Asszíria földjét és Nimród földjét is az ő kapuiban. Megszabadít Asszíriától, ha megtámadja földünket, és a mi területünkre lép.

És megrontják Assiria földjét fegyverrel Nimród földjét is az ő kapuiban; és megszabadít az Assirustól, ha a mi földünkre eljő és a mi határunkba lép.

And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

Ei vor pustii ţara Asiriei cu sabia şi ţara lui Nimrod cu sabia scoasă din teacă. Ne va izbăvi astfel de asirian, când va veni în ţara noastră şi va pătrunde în ţinutul nostru.

they shall shepherd the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod at its entrances; and he shall deliver us from the Assyrian when he comes into our land and treads within our border.

Olyan lesz Jákób maradéka a sok nép között, mint az ÚRtól jövő harmat, mint zápor a fűnek, mert nem emberben reménykedik, és nem emberek fiaiban bízik.

És a Jákóbnak maradéka olyan lészen a sok nép között, mint az Úrtól való harmat, mint a zápor a fűnek, mely nem emberben reménykedik, és nem bízik embernek fiaiban.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.

Rămăşiţa lui Iacov va fi în mijlocul multor popoare ca o rouă care vine de la Domnul, ca ploaia măruntă pe iarbă, care nu se bizuie pe nimeni şi nu atârnă de copiii oamenilor.

Then the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which delay not for a man nor wait for the children of man.

Olyan lesz Jákób maradéka a nemzetek között, a sok nép között, mint az oroszlán az erdei vadak között. Mint az oroszlánkölyök a juhnyáj között, amely ha betör, letiporja és széttépi, és nincs, aki megmentsen tőle.

És a Jákób maradéka a pogányok között, a sok nép között olyan lészen, mint az oroszlán az erdei vadak között; mint az oroszlán-kölyök a juhoknak nyája között, a mely ha betör, tipor és tép, és nincs, a ki [tőle] megszabadítson.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

Rămăşiţa lui Iacov va fi între neamuri, în mijlocul multor popoare, ca un leu între fiarele pădurii, ca un pui de leu între turmele de oi, care, când trece, calcă în picioare şi sfâşie, şi nimeni nu poate scăpa pe altul.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep, which, when it goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.

Erőt vesz kezed szorongatóidon, és minden ellenségedet kipusztítod.

Erőt vészen a te kezed szorongatóidon, és minden ellenségeid kivágattatnak.

Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.

Ţi se va ridica mâna peste potrivnicii tăi, şi toţi vrăjmaşii tăi vor fi nimiciţi!

Your hand shall be lifted up over your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off.

Azon a napon – ezt mondja az ÚR – kiirtom lovaidat, és elveszítem harci szekereidet.

És lészen azon a napon, azt mondja az Úr, kivágom lovaidat közüled, és elvesztem hadi-szekereidet.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:

„În ziua aceea, zice Domnul, îţi voi nimici cu desăvârşire caii din mijlocul tău şi-ţi voi sfărâma carele;

And in that day, declares the LORD, I will cut off your horses from among you and will destroy your chariots;

Kiirtom országod városait, és ledöntöm minden erődítményedet.

És kivágom földednek városait, és ledöntöm minden erősségeidet.

And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:

voi nimici cu desăvârşire cetăţile din ţara ta şi-ţi voi surpa toate cetăţuile.

and I will cut off the cities of your land and throw down all your strongholds;

Kiirtom kezedből a varázsszereket, és nem lesznek többé szemfényvesztőid.

És kivágom kezedből a bűvszereket, és szemfényvesztőid nem lesznek néked.

And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

Voi nimici cu desăvârşire descântecele din mijlocul tău, şi nu vei mai avea vrăjitori;

and I will cut off sorceries from your hand, and you shall have no more tellers of fortunes;

Kiirtom faragott szobraidat és bálványaidat, nem borulsz le többé kezed alkotásai előtt.

És kivágom faragott képeidet és bálványaidat közüled, és nem imádod többé kezeidnek csinálmányait.

Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.

voi nimici cu desăvârşire idolii tăi şi stâlpii tăi idoleşti din mijlocul tău, şi nu te vei mai închina la lucrarea mâinilor tale;

and I will cut off your carved images and your pillars from among you, and you shall bow down no more to the work of your hands;

Kiszaggatom szent fáidat, és elpusztítom városaidat.

És kiszaggatom a te berkeidet közüled és elpusztítom a te városaidat.

And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.

voi nimici cu desăvârşire din mijlocul tău Astarteile tale şi-ţi voi dărâma idolii.

and I will root out your Asherah images from among you and destroy your cities.

Heves haraggal állok bosszút azokon a népeken, akik nem engedelmeskednek.

És haraggal és hévvel állok bosszút a pogányokon, a kik nem engedelmeskedtek.

And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

Mă voi răzbuna cu mânie, cu urgie, pe neamurile care n-au vrut s-asculte.”

And in anger and wrath I will execute vengeance on the nations that did not obey.
