Szeretlek benneteket - ezt mondja az ÚR -, de ti azt kérditek: Miből látható, hogy szeretsz minket? Ugye Ézsau testvére volt Jákóbnak? - mondja az ÚR. - És Jákóbot szerettem,

Szerettelek titeket, azt mondja az Úr, és azt mondjátok: Miben szerettél minket? Avagy nem atyjafia vala-é Ézsau Jákóbnak? azt mondja az Úr: Jákóbot pedig szerettem;

I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

„V-am iubit, zice Domnul! Şi voi ziceţi: „Cu ce ne-ai iubit?” Nu este Esau frate cu Iacov? – zice Domnul; totuşi am iubit pe Iacov,

“I have loved you,” says the LORD. But you say, “How have you loved us?” “Is not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the LORD. “Yet I have loved Jacob

Ézsaut ellenben gyűlöltem. Hegyeit pusztává tettem, örökségét pedig a pusztai sakálokévá.

Ézsaut ellenben gyűlöltem, és az ő hegyeit pusztává tettem, örökségét pedig pusztai sakálokévá.

And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

şi am urât pe Esau, i-am prefăcut munţii într-o pustietate, şi moştenirea lui am dat-o şacalilor din pustiu.

but Esau I have hated. I have laid waste his hill country and left his heritage to jackals of the desert.”

Ha azt mondja Edóm: Összetörtek bennünket, de építsük újjá a romokat - így szól a Seregek URa -; ők építenek, de én lerontom. Az istentelenség országának nevezik őket, s olyan népnek, amelyre örökké haragszik az ÚR.

Ha azt mondja Edom: Elpusztultunk; de térjünk meg és építsük fel a romladékokat: ezt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: Ők építenek, de én elrontom, és elnevezik őket istentelenség határának és oly népnek, a melyre örökké haragszik az Úr.

Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

Iar dacă ar zice Edomul: „Suntem nimiciţi, dar vom ridica iarăşi dărâmăturile!”, aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Să zidească ei, căci Eu voi surpa, şi se vor numi: „Ţara răutăţii” şi „Poporul pe care S-a mâniat Domnul pentru totdeauna”!

If Edom says, “We are shattered but we will rebuild the ruins,” the LORD of hosts says, “They may build, but I will tear down, and they will be called ‘the wicked country,’ and ‘the people with whom the LORD is angry forever.’”

Saját szemetekkel látjátok ezt, és ti magatok is mondjátok: Nagy az ÚR Izráel határán túl is!

És látják ezt a ti szemeitek, és magatok is mondjátok: Nagy az Úr az Izráel határa felett.

And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.

Veţi vedea cu ochii voştri lucrul acesta şi veţi zice: „Mare este Domnul dincolo de hotarele lui Israel!”

Your own eyes shall see this, and you shall say, “Great is the LORD beyond the border of Israel!”

A fiú tiszteli atyját, a szolga is az urát. Ha pedig én atya vagyok: hol az én tisztességem? És ha én ÚR vagyok, hol az irántam való félelem? Azt mondja a Seregek URa nektek, ti papok, akik megvetitek nevemet, és azt kérditek: Mivel vetettük meg nevedet?

A fiú tiszteli atyját, a szolga is az ő urát. És ha én atya vagyok: hol az én tisztességem? És ha én úr vagyok, hol az én félelmem? azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura néktek, ti papok, a kik útáljátok az én nevemet, és [ezt] mondjátok: Mivel útáljuk a te nevedet?

A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

Un fiu cinsteşte pe tatăl său şi o slugă, pe stăpânul său. Dacă sunt Tată, unde este cinstea care Mi se cuvine? Dacă sunt Stăpân, unde este teama de Mine? – zice Domnul oştirilor către voi, preoţilor, care nesocotiţi Numele Meu şi care ziceţi: „Cu ce am nesocotit noi Numele Tău?”

“A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am a father, where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is my fear? says the LORD of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. But you say, ‘How have we despised your name?’

Tisztátalan kenyeret hoztok oltáromra, és azt kérditek: Mivel tettük tisztátalanná? Azzal, hogy azt mondjátok, az ÚR asztala semmibe vehető.

Megfertéztetett kenyeret hoztok oltáromra, és azt mondjátok: Mivel fertéztetünk meg téged? Azzal, mikor azt gondoljátok, hogy az Úrnak asztala megvetni való.

Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.

Prin faptul că aduceţi pe altarul Meu bucate necurate! Şi dacă ziceţi: „Cu ce Te-am spurcat?” Prin faptul că aţi zis: „Masa Domnului este de dispreţuit!”

By offering polluted food upon my altar. But you say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ By saying that the LORD’s table may be despised.

Hogyha vakot hoztok áldozatul: nem bűn-e az? Vagy ha sántát hoztok és betegest: nem bűn-e az? De vidd csak azt a fejedelmednek: vajon kedvesen fogad-e, vagy rád tekint-e? - ezt mondja a Seregek URa.

Hogyha vakot hoztok áldozatul: Nem bűn-é [az?] vagy ha sántát hoztok és bénát: nem bűn-é [az?] Vidd csak azt a te fejedelmednek: vajjon kedvvel fogad-é, avagy reád tekint-é? azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.

Când aduceţi ca jertfă o vită oarbă, nu este rău lucrul acesta? Când aduceţi una şchioapă sau bolnavă, nu este rău lucrul acesta oare? Ia adu-o dregătorului tău! Te va primi el bine pentru ea, va ţine el seama de ea? – zice Domnul oştirilor.

When you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favor? says the LORD of hosts.

Most azért esedezzetek Isten színe előtt, hogy könyörüljön meg rajtunk! Kedvesen fogadhatja-e kezetekből az ilyen ajándékokat? - kérdezi a Seregek URa.

Most azért engeszteljétek meg az Istennek orczáját, hogy könyörüljön rajtunk. Általatok van ez, elnézheti-é ezt néktek? azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.

Şi acum, vă rog, rugaţi-vă lui Dumnezeu să aibă milă de noi! Vă va primi El cu bunăvoinţă când mâinile voastre fac astfel de lucruri? – zice Domnul oştirilor.

And now entreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious to us. With such a gift from your hand, will he show favor to any of you? says the LORD of hosts.

Bárcsak bezárná valaki közületek a templomajtót, hogy ne tüzelnétek hiába oltáromon! Nem telik kedvem bennetek - ezt mondja a Seregek URa -, az ételáldozat sem kedves nekem a kezetekből!

Vajha valaki közületek bezárná az ajtót, hiába ne tüzelnétek az én oltáromon! Nem telik kedvem bennetek, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura; az ételáldozatot sem kedvelem a ti kezetekből!

Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

Cine din voi va închide porţile, ca să n-aprindeţi degeaba focul pe altarul Meu? N-am nicio plăcere de voi, zice Domnul oştirilor, şi darurile de mâncare din mâna voastră nu-Mi sunt plăcute!

Oh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you, says the LORD of hosts, and I will not accept an offering from your hand.

Hiszen napkelettől napnyugatig nagy az én nevem a népek között, és mindenhol tömjénnel és tiszta ételáldozattal áldoznak nevemnek. Bizony nagy az én nevem a népek között - ezt mondja a Seregek URa.

Hiszen napkelettől fogva napnyugotig nagy az én nevem a pogányok között, és minden helyen tömjénnel áldoznak az én nevemnek és tiszta ételáldozattal! Bizony nagy az én nevem a pogányok között! azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

Căci de la răsăritul soarelui până la asfinţit, Numele Meu este mare între neamuri şi pretutindeni se arde tămâie în cinstea Numelui Meu şi se aduc daruri de mâncare curate; căci mare este Numele Meu între neamuri, zice Domnul oştirilor.

For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts.

Ti viszont meggyalázzátok azt, amikor azt mondjátok: Az ÚR asztala tisztátalanná tehető semmirevaló terménnyel és eledellel.

Ti pedig meggyalázzátok azt, mikor azt mondjátok: Az Úrnak asztala megvetni való, és annak jövedelme, eledele útálatos.

But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.

Dar voi îl pângăriţi prin faptul că ziceţi: „Masa Domnului este spurcată şi ce aduce ea este o mâncare de dispreţuit!”

But you profane it when you say that the Lord’s table is polluted, and its fruit, that is, its food, may be despised.

És azt mondjátok: Íme, milyen fáradság! És még lihegtek is közben - ezt mondja a Seregek URa. Pedig rabolt állatot hoztok, meg sántát és betegest. Ezt hozzátok áldozatul, de hát kedves-e ez a kezetekből? - így szól az ÚR.

És azt mondjátok: Ímé, mily fáradság! és ráfújtok, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura; pedig a rablottat hozzátok, meg a sántát és betegest; ételáldozatot is hoztok, [de] hát kedves-é az a ti kezetekből? azt mondja az Úr.

Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.

Voi ziceţi: „Ce mai osteneală!” şi o dispreţuiţi, zice Domnul oştirilor; şi aduceţi ce este furat, şchiop sau bolnav. Iată darurile de mâncare pe care le aduceţi! Pot Eu să le primesc din mâinile voastre? – zice Domnul.

But you say, ‘What a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the LORD of hosts. You bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the LORD.

Átkozott az álnok! Van ugyan a nyájában hím állat, és fogadalmat is tesz, mégis hitvánnyal áldozik az ÚRnak. Pedig én nagy király vagyok - ezt mondja a Seregek URa -, és félelmetes az én nevem a népek között!

Átkozott pedig az álnok! Van ugyan a nyájában hím, és fogadást is tesz: mégis hitványnyal áldozik az Úrnak. Pedig nagy király vagyok én, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura, és félelmetes az én nevem a pogányok között!

But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

Nu! Blestemat să fie înşelătorul care are în turma lui o vită de parte bărbătească, şi totuşi juruieşte şi jertfeşte Domnului o vită bolnavă! Căci Eu sunt un Împărat mare, zice Domnul oştirilor, şi Numele Meu este înfricoşat printre neamuri.

Cursed be the cheat who has a male in his flock, and vows it, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished. For I am a great King, says the LORD of hosts, and my name will be feared among the nations.
