Most azért néktek szól ez a parancsolat, ti papok!

And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

Acum, către voi se îndreaptă porunca aceasta, preoţilor!

“And now, O priests, this command is for you.

Ha nem hallgattok rá, és nem veszitek szívetekre, hogy dicsőséget adjatok nevemnek – ezt mondja a Seregek URa –, átkot bocsátok rátok, és átokká változtatom a ti áldásotokat. Bizony, átokká változtatom azt, ha nem veszitek szívetekre!

Ha meg nem hallgatjátok és ha nem veszitek szívetekre, hogy dicsőséget adjatok az én nevemnek, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura: átkot bocsátok reátok, és elátkozom a ti áldásotokat; bizony elátkozom azt, ha nem veszitek szívetekre!

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

Dacă nu veţi asculta, dacă nu vă veţi pune inima ca să daţi slavă Numelui Meu, zice Domnul oştirilor, voi arunca în voi blestemul şi voi blestema binecuvântările voastre; da, le-am şi blestemat, pentru că n-aveţi pe inimă porunca Mea.

If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the LORD of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.

Íme, megfeddem a ti vetni való magotokat, és szemetet szórok az arcotokba, ünneplésetek szemetét, és a szemétdombra hordanak ki benneteket.

Ímé, én megrontom a ti vetni való magotokat, és szemetet szórok orczáitokba, a ti ünneplésteknek szemetjét, és ahhoz hordanak ki titeket.

Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

Iată, vă voi nimici sămânţa şi vă voi arunca balega în faţă, balega vitelor pe care le jertfiţi, şi veţi fi luaţi împreună cu ele.

Behold, I will rebuke your offspring, and spread dung on your faces, the dung of your offerings, and you shall be taken away with it.

Akkor megtudjátok, hogy azért adtam nektek ezt a parancsolatot, hogy megmaradjon Lévivel kötött szövetségem – ezt mondja a Seregek URa.

És megtudjátok, hogy azért adtam néktek e parancsolatot, hogy szövetségem legyen a Lévivel, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

Veţi şti atunci că Eu v-am dat porunca aceasta pentru ca legământul Meu cu Levi să rămână în picioare, zice Domnul oştirilor.

So shall you know that I have sent this command to you, that my covenant with Levi may stand, says the LORD of hosts.

Szövetségem volt vele életre és békességre, amelyet azért kötöttem vele, hogy félve tiszteljen engem, és megalázza magát nevem előtt.

Szövetségem volt vele életre és békességre, és félelmül adtam azt néki és félt engemet, és megalázta magát az én nevem előtt.

My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.

Legământul Meu cu el era un legământ de viaţă şi de pace. I l-am dat ca să se teamă de Mine; şi el s-a temut de Mine, a tremurat de Numele Meu.

My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave them to him. It was a covenant of fear, and he feared me. He stood in awe of my name.

Igaz tanítás volt szájában, és nem volt álnokság az ajkán. Békességben és egyenesen járt velem, és sokakat megtérített a bűnből.

Igazság törvénye volt az ő szájában, és nem találtatott álnokság az ő ajkaiban; békességben és egyenességgel járt velem, és sokakat megtérített a bűnből.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

Legea adevărului era în gura lui şi nu s-a găsit nimic nelegiuit pe buzele lui; a umblat cu Mine în pace şi în neprihănire, şi pe mulţi i-a abătut de la rău.

True instruction was in his mouth, and no wrong was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and he turned many from iniquity.

Mert a pap ajkai őrzik a tudást, és tanítást várnak szájából, mivel a Seregek URának követe ő.

Mert a papnak ajkai őrzik a tudományt, és az ő szájából törvényt várnak, mivel a Seregek Urának követe ő.

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

Căci buzele preotului trebuie să păzească ştiinţa şi din gura lui se aşteaptă învăţătură, pentru că el este un sol al Domnului oştirilor.

For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

De ti elhajoltatok erről az útról, sokan megbotlottak tanításotok miatt, és fölbontottátok Lévi szövetségét – ezt mondja a Seregek URa.

De ti elhajlottatok ez útról, sokakat megbotránkoztattatok a törvénnyel, felbontottátok Lévi szövetségét, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura.

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

Dar voi v-aţi abătut din cale, aţi făcut din Lege un prilej de cădere pentru mulţi şi aţi călcat legământul lui Levi, zice Domnul oştirilor.

But you have turned aside from the way. You have caused many to stumble by your instruction. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts,

Ezért én is megvetetté és megalázottá teszlek benneteket az egész nép előtt, mert nem ügyeltetek utamra, hanem személyválogatók vagytok a törvénnyel.

Azért én is szidalmasakká tettelek titeket és útálatosakká az egész nép előtt, a miatt, hogy meg nem őriztétek az én útamat, hanem személyválogatók voltatok a törvénnyel.

Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.

De aceea şi Eu vă voi face să fiţi dispreţuiţi şi înjosiţi înaintea întregului popor, pentru că n-aţi păzit căile Mele, ci căutaţi la faţa oamenilor, când tălmăciţi Legea.”

and so I make you despised and abased before all the people, inasmuch as you do not keep my ways but show partiality in your instruction.”

Vajon nem egy atyánk van-e mindnyájunknak? Nem egy Isten teremtett-e minket? Miért csalja meg hát mindenki a felebarátját, és miért rontja meg atyáink szövetségét?

Nem egy atyánk van-é mindnyájunknak? Nem egy Isten teremtett-é minket? Miért csalja hát kiki az ő felebarátját, megrontván a mi atyáink szövetségét?

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

N-avem toţi un singur Tată? Nu ne-a făcut un singur Dumnezeu? Pentru ce, dar, suntem aşa de necredincioşi unul faţă de altul, pângărind astfel legământul părinţilor noştri?

Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why then are we faithless to one another, profaning the covenant of our fathers?

Hűtlenné lett Júda, utálatosságot cselekedtek Izráelben és Jeruzsálemben, mert beszennyezte Júda az ÚR szent helyét, amelyet ő szeret, és idegen istenek leányát vette el.

Hűtelenné lett Júda, és útálatosság támadt Izráelben és Jeruzsálemben, mert megfertőztette Júda az Úrnak szentségét, a melyet ő szeret, és idegen istennek leányát vette el.

Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

Iuda s-a arătat necredincios, şi în Iuda şi la Ierusalim s-a săvârşit o urâciune; fiindcă Iuda a spurcat ce este închinat Domnului, ce iubeşte Domnul, şi s-a unit cu fiica unui dumnezeu străin.

Judah has been faithless, and abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem. For Judah has profaned the sanctuary of the LORD, which he loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.

Veszítsen el az ÚR mindenkit Jákób sátrából, aki ezt cselekszi, a csábítót és aki viszonozza, még ha áldozatot visz is a Seregek URának!

Elveszt az Úr mindenkit, a ki ezt cselekszi, a vigyázót és a felelőt, a Jákób sátraiból, még ha áldozatot visz is a Seregek Urának.

The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

Domnul va nimici pe omul care a făcut lucrul acesta, pe cel ce veghează şi răspunde, îl va nimici din corturile lui Iacov şi va nimici pe cel ce aduce un dar de mâncare Domnului oştirilor.

May the LORD cut off from the tents of Jacob any descendant of the man who does this, who brings an offering to the LORD of hosts!

Ezt is cselekszitek: könnyhullatással árasztjátok el az ÚR oltárát, sírással és sóhajtással, mivel nem tekint többé az áldozatra, és nem fogadja szívesen a kezetekből.

És ezt is cselekszitek: betöltitek az Úr oltárát könyhullatással, sírással és kesergéssel, hogy ne tekintsen többé az ételáldozatra, és ne fogadjon el szívességet a ti kezetekből.

And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

Iată acum ce mai faceţi: acoperiţi cu lacrimi altarul Domnului, cu plânsete şi gemete, aşa încât El nu mai caută la darurile de mâncare şi nu mai poate primi nimic din mâinile voastre.

And this second thing you do. You cover the LORD’s altar with tears, with weeping and groaning because he no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand.

Azt kérdezitek: Miért? Azért, mert az ÚR lett tanúbizonyság közötted és ifjúságodban elvett feleséged között, akit megcsaltál, holott társad ő, és veled szövetségben lévő feleséged!

És azt mondjátok: Miért? Azért, mert az Úr tett bizonyságot közted és a te ifjúságod felesége közt, a kit te megcsaltál, holott társad és szövetséges feleséged!

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Şi dacă întrebaţi: „Pentru ce?”… Pentru că Domnul a fost martor între tine şi nevasta din tinereţea ta, căreia acum nu-i eşti credincios, măcar că este tovarăşa şi nevasta cu care ai încheiat legământ!

But you say, “Why does he not?” Because the LORD was witness between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant.

Nem tesz ilyet egy ember sem, akinek még maradt lelke. És mit keres ez az egy? Istentől való utódokat. Őrizzétek meg azért lelketeket, és ne csaljátok meg ifjúságotokban elvett feleségeteket!

Nem tett ilyet egy sem, a kinek még volt lelke. És mit keresett az az egy? Istentől való magvat. Őrizzétek meg azért a ti lelketeket, és a ti ifjúságotok feleségét meg ne csaljátok!

And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

Nu ne-a dat Unul singur, Dumnezeu, suflarea de viaţă şi ne-a păstrat-o? Şi ce cere acel Unul singur? Sămânţă dumnezeiască! Luaţi seama, dar, în mintea voastră şi niciunul să nu fie necredincios nevestei din tinereţea lui!

Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth.

Mert gyűlölöm az elbocsátást – ezt mondja az ÚR, Izráel Istene – és azt, akinek kegyetlenség tapad a ruhájához – ezt mondja a Seregek URa. Őrizzétek meg azért lelketeket, és ne tegyetek csalárdságot!

Mert gyűlölöm az elbocsátást, ezt mondja az Úr, Izráelnek Istene, és [azt,] a ki ruhájára kegyetlenséget borít, azt mondja a Seregeknek Ura. Őrizzétek meg azért lelketeket és ne csalárdkodjatok!

For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

„Căci Eu urăsc despărţirea în căsătorie – zice Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel – şi pe cel ce îşi acoperă haina cu silnicie – zice Domnul oştirilor. De aceea, luaţi seama în mintea voastră şi nu fiţi necredincioşi!”

“For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the LORD, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the LORD of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”

Elfárasztottátok beszédeitekkel az URat, és azt kérditek: Mivel fárasztottuk el? Azzal, hogy azt mondjátok: „Minden gonosztevő jó az ÚR szemében, és gyönyörködik bennük” vagy hogy „Hol van az ítélet Istene?”.

Elfárasztottátok az Urat beszédeitekkel, és azt mondjátok: Mivel fárasztottuk el? Azzal, hogy azt mondjátok: Minden gonosztevő jó az Úr szemeiben, és gyönyörködik ő azokban; vagy: Hol van az ítéletnek Istene?

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

Voi obosiţi pe Domnul prin cuvintele voastre şi mai întrebaţi: „Cu ce L-am obosit?” – Prin faptul că ziceţi: „Oricine face rău este bun înaintea Domnului şi de el are plăcere!” sau: „Unde este Dumnezeul dreptăţii?”

You have wearied the LORD with your words. But you say, “How have we wearied him?” By saying, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them.” Or by asking, “Where is the God of justice?”
