Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

a Kolosséban levő szenteknek és hívő testvéreknek Krisztusban. Kegyelem nektek és békesség Istentől, a mi Atyánktól és az Úr Jézus Krisztustól.

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,

mivel hallottunk a Krisztus Jézusba vetett hitetekről és a bennetek levő, minden szent iránti szeretetről

Mivelhogy hallottuk a ti hiteteket a Krisztus Jézusban, és a szeretetet, a melylyel minden szentekhez vagytok,

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints,

a mennyben számotokra készen álló reménységért, amelyről már korábban hallottatok az evangélium igaz beszédében.

A mennyekben néktek eltett reménységért, a melyet [már] előbb hallottatok az igazság beszédében, mely az evangyéliom:

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

din pricina nădejdii care vă aşteaptă în ceruri şi despre care aţi auzit mai înainte în cuvântul adevărului Evangheliei,

because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. Of this you have heard before in the word of the truth, the gospel,

Ez eljutott hozzátok, amint az egész világra is, és gyümölcsöt terem, és növekedik úgy, amint nálatok is attól a naptól fogva, amelyen hallottátok és igazán megismertétek az Isten kegyelmét,

Mely eljutott hozzátok, miképen az egész világra is, és gyümölcsöt terem, úgy mint nálatok is a naptól fogva, melyen hallottátok és megismertétek az Isten kegyelmét igazán:

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

care a ajuns până la voi şi este în toată lumea, unde dă roade şi merge crescând, ca şi între voi. Şi aceasta, din ziua în care aţi auzit şi aţi cunoscut harul lui Dumnezeu, în adevăr,

which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing—as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth,

ahogyan Epafrásztól, szeretett szolgatársunktól tanultátok, aki Krisztus hű szolgája értetek,

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

just as you learned it from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf

s aki hírét hozta Lélekből fakadó szereteteteknek.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

şi ne-a vorbit despre dragostea voastră în Duhul.

and has made known to us your love in the Spirit.

Ezért amely naptól fogva ezeket hallottuk, mi sem szűnünk meg értetek imádkozni, és kérni, hogy beteljesedjetek az ő akaratának megismerésével minden lelki bölcsességben és értelemben,

Azért mi is, a mely naptól fogva [ezeket] hallottuk, nem szűnünk meg érettetek imádkozni, és kérni, hogy betöltessetek az [Isten ]akaratának megismerésével minden lelki bölcseségben és értelemben,

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

De aceea şi noi, din ziua când am auzit aceste lucruri, nu încetăm să ne rugăm pentru voi şi să cerem să vă umpleţi de cunoştinţa voii Lui, în orice fel de înţelepciune şi pricepere duhovnicească;

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

hogy járjatok az Úrhoz méltóan, teljes tetszésére, minden jó cselekedettel gyümölcsöt teremve, és növekedjetek Isten megismerésében,

Hogy járjatok méltóan az Úrhoz, teljes tetszésére, minden jó cselekedettel gyümölcsöt teremvén és nevekedvén az Isten megismerésében;

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

pentru ca, astfel, să vă purtaţi într-un chip vrednic de Domnul, ca să-I fiţi plăcuţi în orice lucru, aducând roade în tot felul de fapte bune şi crescând în cunoştinţa lui Dumnezeu,

so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

és hogy minden erővel megerősödjetek dicsőségének hatalma szerint minden kitartásra és hosszútűrésre, örömmel.

Minden erővel megerősíttetvén az Ő dicsőségének hatalma szerint minden kitartásra és hosszútűrésre örömmel;

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

întăriţi, cu toată puterea, potrivit cu tăria slavei Lui, pentru orice răbdare şi îndelungă răbdare, cu bucurie,

being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy;

Adjatok hálát az Atyának, aki alkalmassá tett minket a szentek örökségében való részvételre a világosságban,

Hálákat adván az Atyának, ki alkalmasakká tett minket a szentek örökségében való részvételre a világosságban;

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

mulţumind Tatălui, care v-a învrednicit să aveţi parte de moştenirea sfinţilor în lumină.

giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

aki kiragadott minket a sötétség hatalmából, és átvitt az ő szeretett Fiának országába.

A ki megszabadított minket a sötétség hatalmából, és általvitt az Ő szerelmes Fiának országába;

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

El ne-a izbăvit de sub puterea întunericului şi ne-a strămutat în Împărăţia Fiului dragostei Lui,

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,

Benne van a mi váltságunk, bűneink bocsánata,

Kiben van a mi váltságunk az Ő vére által, bűneinknek bocsánata;

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

în care avem răscumpărarea, prin sângele Lui, iertarea păcatelor.

in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

aki képe a láthatatlan Istennek, és minden teremtmény előtt született.

A ki képe a láthatatlan Istennek, minden teremtménynek előtte született;

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

El este chipul Dumnezeului celui nevăzut, Cel întâi născut din toată zidirea.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

Mert benne teremtetett minden a mennyen és a földön, a láthatók és a láthatatlanok, akár trónok, akár uralmak, akár fejedelemségek, akár hatalmasságok, minden általa és őrá nézve teremtetett.

Mert Ő benne teremtetett minden, a mi van a mennyekben és a földön, láthatók és láthatatlanok, akár királyi székek, akár uraságok, akár fejedelemségek, akár hatalmasságok; mindenek Ő általa és Ő reá nézve teremttettek;

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Pentru că prin El au fost făcute toate lucrurile care sunt în ceruri şi pe pământ, cele văzute şi cele nevăzute: fie scaune de domnii, fie dregătorii, fie domnii, fie stăpâniri. Toate au fost făcute prin El şi pentru El.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

Ő előbb volt mindennél, és minden őbenne áll fenn.

És Ő előbb volt mindennél, és minden Ő benne áll fenn.

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

El este mai înainte de toate lucrurile, şi toate se ţin prin El.

And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Ő a feje a testnek, az egyháznak, ő a kezdet, elsőszülött a halottak közül, hogy mindenekben övé legyen az elsőség.

És Ő a feje a testnek, az egyháznak: a ki a kezdet, elsőszülött a halottak közül; hogy mindenekben Ő legyen az első;

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

El este Capul trupului, al Bisericii. El este Începutul, Cel întâi născut dintre cei morţi, pentru ca în toate lucrurile să aibă întâietatea.

And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

Mert tetszett az Atyának, hogy benne lakozzék az egész teljesség,

Mert tetszett [az Atyának,] hogy Ő benne lakozzék az egész teljesség;

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Căci Dumnezeu a vrut ca toată plinătatea să locuiască în El

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,

és hogy általa békéltessen meg mindent magával úgy a földön, mint a mennyben, békességet szerezve keresztjének vére által.

És hogy Ő általa békéltessen meg mindent Magával, békességet szerezvén az Ő keresztjének vére által; Ő általa mindent, a mi csak van, akár a földön, akár a mennyekben.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

şi să împace totul cu Sine prin El, atât ce este pe pământ, cât şi ce este în ceruri, făcând pace prin sângele crucii Lui.

and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

Titeket is, akik egykor idegenek és ellenséges érzületűek voltatok a gonosz cselekedetek miatt,

Titeket is, kik hajdan elidegenültek és ellenségek valátok gonosz cselekedetekben [gyönyörködő] értelmetek miatt, most mégis megbékéltetett.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Şi pe voi, care odinioară eraţi străini şi vrăjmaşi prin gândurile şi prin faptele voastre rele, El v-a împăcat acum

And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,

most megbékéltetett emberi testében halála által, hogy mint szenteket, tisztákat és feddhetetleneket állítson majd színe elé.

Az Ő emberi testében a halál által, hogy mint szenteket, tisztákat és feddhetetleneket állasson titeket Ő maga elé:

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

prin trupul Lui de carne, prin moarte, ca să vă facă să vă înfăţişaţi înaintea Lui sfinţi, fără prihană şi fără vină;

he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,

Ha ugyan megmaradtok a hitben szilárdan és rendíthetetlenül, és nem tántorodtok el az evangélium reménységétől, amelyet hallottatok, amely hirdettetett minden teremtménynek az ég alatt, és amelynek én, Pál, szolgájává lettem.

Ha ugyan megmaradtok a hitben alaposan és erősen, és el nem távoztok az evangyéliom reménységétől, a melyet hallottatok, a mely hirdettetett minden teremtménynek az ég alatt; a melynek lettem én, Pál, szolgájává.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

negreşit, dacă rămâneţi şi mai departe întemeiaţi şi neclintiţi în credinţă, fără să vă abateţi de la nădejdea Evangheliei pe care aţi auzit-o, care a fost propovăduită oricărei făpturi de sub cer şi al cărei slujitor am fost făcut eu, Pavel.

if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Most örülök az értetek viselt szenvedéseimnek, és betöltöm, ami hiányzik a Krisztus szenvedéseiből az én testemben az ő testéért, amely az egyház.

Most örülök a ti érettetek való szenvedéseimnek, és a magam részéről betöltöm a mi híja van a Krisztus szenvedéseinek az én testemben az Ő testéért, a mi az egyház;

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

Mă bucur acum în suferinţele mele pentru voi; şi în trupul meu împlinesc ce lipseşte suferinţelor lui Hristos, pentru trupul Lui, care este Biserica.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church,

Ennek lettem szolgájává Isten megbízásából, amelyet rátok nézve adott nekem, hogy betöltsem az Isten igéjét,

A melynek lettem én szolgájává az Isten sáfársága szerint, a melyet nékem adott ti rátok nézve, hogy betöltsem az Isten ígéjét,

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Slujitorul ei am fost făcut eu, după isprăvnicia pe care mi-a dat-o Dumnezeu pentru voi, ca să întregesc Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu.

of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known,

mégpedig azt a titkot, amely el volt rejtve örök időktől fogva és nemzedékek óta, most pedig kijelentette az ő szentjeinek,

[Tudniillik] ama titkot, mely el vala rejtve ősidők óta és nemzetségek óta, most pedig megjelentetett az Ő szenteinek,

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Vreau să zic: taina ţinută ascunsă din veşnicii şi în toate veacurile, dar descoperită acum sfinţilor Lui,

the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints.

akiknek Isten tudtul akarta adni, hogy milyen nagy a pogányok között e titok dicsőségének a gazdagsága, hogy bennetek van Krisztus, a dicsőség reménysége.

A kikkel az Isten meg akarta ismertetni azt, hogy milyen nagy a pogányok között eme titok dicsőségének gazdagsága, az [tudniillik,] hogy a Krisztus ti köztetek van, a dicsőségnek ama reménysége:

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

cărora Dumnezeu a voit să le facă cunoscut care este bogăţia slavei tainei acesteia între Neamuri, şi anume: Hristos în voi, nădejdea slavei.

To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Őt hirdetjük, intve minden embert és tanítva minden embert teljes bölcsességgel, hogy minden embert tökéletessé tegyünk Krisztus Jézusban.

A kit mi prédikálunk, intvén minden embert, és tanítván minden embert minden bölcseséggel, hogy minden embert tökéletesnek állassunk elő a Krisztus Jézusban;

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Pe El Îl propovăduim noi, şi sfătuim pe orice om, şi învăţăm pe orice om în toată înţelepciunea, ca să înfăţişăm pe orice om desăvârşit în Hristos Isus.

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

Ezért fáradozom én is, tusakodva az ő ereje szerint, amely hatalmasan munkálkodik bennem.

A mire igyekezem is, tusakodván az Ő ereje szerint, mely én bennem hatalmasan munkálkodik.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Iată la ce lucrez eu şi mă lupt după lucrarea puterii Lui care lucrează cu tărie în mine.

For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.
