Kegyelem nektek és békesség az Atya Istentől és az Úr Jézus Krisztustól.

Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mindenkor hálaadással tartozunk az Istennek értetek, testvéreim, amint méltó is, mivelhogy felettébb megnövekedett a ti hitetek, és mindnyájatokban bővölködik az egymás iránti szeretet.

Mindenkor hálaadással tartozunk az Istennek, atyámfiai, ti érettetek, a miképen méltó [is,] mivelhogy felettébb megnövekedék a ti hitetek, és mindnyájatokban bővölködik az egymáshoz való szeretet;

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

Trebuie să mulţumim totdeauna lui Dumnezeu pentru voi, fraţilor, cum se şi cuvine, pentru că credinţa voastră merge mereu crescând, şi dragostea fiecăruia din voi toţi faţă de ceilalţi se măreşte tot mai mult.

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

De aceea ne lăudăm cu voi în bisericile lui Dumnezeu, pentru statornicia şi credinţa voastră în toate prigonirile şi necazurile pe care le suferiţi.

Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring.

Ez pedig Isten igazságos ítéletének jele, hogy méltónak ítéltessetek az Isten országára, amelyért szenvedtek is.

Bizonyságául az Isten igazságos ítéletének; hogy méltóknak ítéltessetek az Isten országára, a melyért szenvedtek is.

Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

Aceasta este o dovadă lămurită despre dreapta judecată a lui Dumnezeu, întrucât veţi fi găsiţi vrednici de Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu, pentru care şi suferiţi.

This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering—

Mert igazságos dolog Isten előtt, hogy szorongattatással fizessen azoknak, akik titeket szorongatnak,

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

şi să vă dea odihnă atât vouă, care sunteţi întristaţi, cât şi nouă, la descoperirea Domnului Isus din cer, cu îngerii puterii Lui,

and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

într-o flacără de foc, ca să pedepsească pe cei ce nu cunosc pe Dumnezeu şi pe cei ce nu ascultă de Evanghelia Domnului nostru Isus Hristos.

in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

Ezek majd örök veszedelemmel fognak bűnhődni az Úrtól és hatalmának dicsőségétől,

A kik meg fognak lakolni örök veszedelemmel az Úr ábrázatától, és az ő hatalmának dicsőségétől,

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Ei vor avea ca pedeapsă o pierzare veşnică de la faţa Domnului şi de la slava puterii Lui,

They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

amikor eljön azon a napon, hogy megdicsőüljön szentjeiben, és csodálják mindazok, akik hittek, mint ahogy ti is hittetek bizonyságtételünknek.

A mikor eljő majd, hogy megdicsőíttessék az ő szenteiben, és csodáltassék mindazokban, a kik hisznek (mivelhogy a mi tanúbizonyságunknak hitele volt ti nálatok) ama napon.

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

când va veni, în ziua aceea, ca să fie proslăvit în sfinţii Săi şi privit cu uimire în toţi cei ce vor fi crezut; căci voi aţi crezut mărturisirea făcută de noi înaintea voastră.

when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

Ezért imádkozunk is mindenkor értetek, hogy a mi Istenünk tegyen titeket méltóvá az elhívásra, és töltsön be titeket a jóban való teljes gyönyörködéssel és a hit hathatós munkálásával,

Mivégből imádkozunk is mindenkor ti érettetek, hogy a mi Istenünk méltóknak tartson titeket az elhívásra, és töltsön be titeket a jóban való teljes gyönyörűséggel, és a hitnek hathatós munkálásával.

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

De aceea ne rugăm necurmat pentru voi, ca Dumnezeul nostru să vă găsească vrednici de chemarea Lui şi să împlinească în voi, cu putere, orice dorinţă de bunătate şi orice lucrare izvorâtă din credinţă,

To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power,

hogy megdicsőüljön a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus neve bennetek, és ti is őbenne, a mi Istenünk és az Úr Jézus Krisztus kegyelméből.

Hogy dicsőíttessék meg a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztusnak neve ti bennetek, és ti [is] ő benne, a mi Istenünknek és az Úr Jézus Krisztusnak kegyelméből.

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

pentru ca Numele Domnului nostru Isus Hristos să fie proslăvit în voi, şi voi în El, potrivit cu harul Dumnezeului nostru şi al Domnului Isus Hristos.
