Testvéreim, kérünk titeket a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus eljövetelére és a hozzá való gyülekezésünkre nézve,

Kérünk pedig titeket, atyámfiai, a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus eljövetelére és a mi ő hozzá leendő egybegyűlésünkre nézve,

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

Cât priveşte venirea Domnului nostru Isus Hristos şi strângerea noastră laolaltă cu El, vă rugăm, fraţilor,

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,

hogy ne rendüljetek meg egyhamar meggyőződésetekben, és ne rémítsen meg titeket semmilyen lélek, beszéd vagy nekünk tulajdonított levél, mintha már itt volna az Úr napja.

Hogy ne tántoríttassatok el egyhamar a ti értelmetektől, se ne háboríttassatok meg, se lélek által, se beszéd által, se nékünk [tulajdonított ]levél által, mintha itt volna már a Krisztusnak ama napja.

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

să nu vă lăsaţi clătinaţi aşa de repede în mintea voastră şi să nu vă tulburaţi de vreun duh, nici de vreo vorbă, nici de vreo epistolă, ca venind de la noi, ca şi cum ziua Domnului ar fi şi venit chiar.

not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

Nehogy valaki valamiképpen félrevezessen titeket, mert nem jön el az addig, amíg be nem következik előbb a szakadás, és megjelenik a törvénytipró, a kárhozat fia,

Ne csaljon meg titeket senki semmiképen. Mert nem [jön az el addig,] mígnem bekövetkezik elébb a szakadás, és megjelenik a bűn embere, a veszedelemnek fia,

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Nimeni să nu vă amăgească în vreun chip; căci nu va veni înainte ca să fi venit lepădarea de credinţă şi de a se descoperi omul fărădelegii, fiul pierzării,

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

aki ellene veti és fölébe emeli magát mindennek, amit istennek vagy imádat tárgyának tartanak, annyira, hogy maga ül be Isten templomába, isten gyanánt mutogatva magát.

A ki ellene veti és fölébe emeli magát mindannak, a mi Istennek vagy istentiszteletre méltónak mondatik, annyira, hogy maga ül be mint Isten az Isten templomába, Isten gyanánt mutogatván magát.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

potrivnicul care se înalţă mai presus de tot ce se numeşte „Dumnezeu” sau de ce este vrednic de închinare. Aşa că se va aşeza în Templul lui Dumnezeu, dându-se drept Dumnezeu.

who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Nem emlékeztek rá, hogy már elmondtam ezeket nektek, amikor nálatok voltam?

Nem emlékeztek-é, hogy megmondtam néktek ezeket, a mikor még ti nálatok valék?

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

Nu vă aduceţi aminte cum vă spuneam lucrurile acestea, când eram încă la voi?

Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?

És tudjátok, hogy most még mi tartja vissza, hogy csak a maga idejében jelenjen meg?

És most tudjátok, mi tartja vissza, a miért [csak] a maga idejében fog az megjelenni.

And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

Şi acum ştiţi bine ce-l opreşte ca să nu se descopere decât la vremea lui.

And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time.

Működik ugyan már a törvénytiprás titkos bűne, csakhogy azt, aki most még visszatartja, el kell távolítani az útból.

Működik ugyan már a törvényszegés titkos [bűne:] csakhogy annak, a ki [azt] még most visszatartja, félre kell az útból tolatnia.

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

Căci taina fărădelegii a şi început să lucreze; trebuie numai ca cel ce o opreşte acum să fie luat din drumul ei.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.

És akkor megjelenik a törvénytipró – akit az Úr Jézus megöl szájának leheletével és megsemmisít megjelenésének dicsőségével –,

És akkor fog megjelenni a törvénytaposó, a kit megemészt az Úr az ő szájának lehelletével, és megsemmisít az ő megjelenésének feltűnésével;

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Şi atunci se va arăta acel nelegiuit pe care Domnul Isus îl va nimici cu suflarea gurii Sale şi-l va prăpădi cu arătarea venirii Sale.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.

akinek eljövetele a Sátán munkája a hazugság minden erejével, jeleivel és csodáival

A kinek eljövetele a Sátán ereje által van, a hazugságnak minden hatalmával, jeleivel és csodáival,

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Arătarea lui se va face prin puterea Satanei, cu tot felul de minuni, de semne şi puteri mincinoase

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders,

és a hamisság minden csalásával azok számára, akik elvesznek, mivel visszautasították az igazság szeretetét, hogy az által üdvözüljenek.

És a gonoszságnak minden csalárdságával azok között, a kik elvesznek; mivelhogy nem fogadták be az igazságnak szeretetét az ő idvességökre.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

şi cu toate amăgirile nelegiuirii, pentru cei ce sunt pe calea pierzării, pentru că n-au primit dragostea adevărului ca să fie mântuiţi.

and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

Ezért bocsátja rájuk Isten a tévelygés hatalmát, hogy higgyenek a hazugságnak,

És azért bocsátja reájok Isten a tévelygés erejét, hogy higyjenek a hazugságnak;

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Din această pricină, Dumnezeu le trimite o lucrare de rătăcire, ca să creadă o minciună,

Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,

hogy az ítélet utolérje mindazokat, akik nem hittek az igazságnak, hanem a hamisságban gyönyörködtek.

Hogy kárhoztattassanak mindazok, a kik nem hittek az igazságnak, hanem gyönyörködtek az igazságtalanságban.

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

pentru ca toţi cei ce n-au crezut adevărul, ci au găsit plăcere în nelegiuire, să fie osândiţi.

in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Mi pedig mindenkor hálaadással tartozunk Istennek értetek, testvéreim, akiket szeret az Úr, mert kezdettől fogva kiválasztott titeket Isten az üdvösségre a Lélek megszentelésében és az igazság hitében,

Mi pedig mindenkor hálaadással tartozunk az Istennek ti érettetek atyámfiai, a kiket szeret az Úr, hogy kezdettől fogva kiválasztott titeket Isten az üdvösségre, a Lélek szentelésében és az igazság hitében;

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Noi însă, fraţi preaiubiţi de Domnul, trebuie să mulţumim totdeauna lui Dumnezeu pentru voi, căci de la început Dumnezeu v-a ales pentru mântuire, în sfinţirea Duhului şi credinţa adevărului.

But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

amire elhívott titeket a mi evangéliumunk által, hogy részesüljetek a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus dicsőségében.

A mire elhívott titeket a mi evangyéliomunk által, a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus dicsőségének elvételére.

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Iată la ce v-a chemat El, prin Evanghelia noastră, ca să căpătaţi slava Domnului nostru Isus Hristos.

To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ezért, testvéreim, legyetek állhatatosak, és ragaszkodjatok azokhoz a rendelkezésekhez, amelyeket akár beszédünk, akár levelünk által tanultatok.

Miért is atyámfiai, legyetek állhatatosak és tartsátok meg a tudományt, a melyre akár beszédünk, akár levelünk által taníttattatok.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Aşadar, fraţilor, rămâneţi tari şi ţineţi învăţăturile pe care le-aţi primit fie prin viu grai, fie prin epistola noastră.

So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.

Maga pedig a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus és az Isten, a mi Atyánk, aki szeretett minket, és kegyelméből örök vigasztalással és jó reménységgel ajándékozott meg,

Maga pedig a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus, és az Isten a mi Atyánk, a ki szeretett minket és kegyelméből örök vígasztalással és jó reménységgel ajándékozott meg,

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Şi însuşi Domnul nostru Isus Hristos şi Dumnezeu, Tatăl nostru, care ne-a iubit şi ne-a dat prin harul Său o mângâiere veşnică şi o bună nădejde,

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

vigasztalja meg a szíveteket, és erősítsen meg titeket minden jó cselekedetben és beszédben.

Vígasztalja meg a ti szíveteket, és erősítsen meg titeket minden tudományban és jó cselekedetben.

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

să vă mângâie inimile şi să vă întărească în orice lucru şi cuvânt bun!

comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
