Végül, testvéreim, imádkozzatok értünk, hogy az Úr beszéde terjedjen, és dicsőítsék, úgy, mint nálatok is,

Végezetre imádkozzatok értünk atyámfiai, hogy az Úrnak beszéde terjedjen és dicsőíttessék, a miként ti köztetek is.

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

Încolo, fraţilor, rugaţi-vă pentru noi ca Cuvântul Domnului să se răspândească şi să fie proslăvit, cum este la voi,

Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you,

And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

şi să fim izbăviţi de oamenii nechibzuiţi şi răi; căci nu toţi au credinţa.

and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith.

De hű az Úr, aki megerősít titeket, és megőriz a gonosztól.

De hű az Úr, a ki megerősít titeket és megőriz a gonosztól.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Credincios este Domnul: El vă va întări şi vă va păzi de cel rău.

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

Bízunk is az Úrban, hogy amiket rendeltünk, azokat megteszitek és meg is fogjátok tenni.

Bízunk is az Úrban reátok nézve, hogy megteszitek és meg is fogjátok tenni azokat, a miket parancsolunk.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

Cu privire la voi, avem încredere în Domnul că faceţi şi veţi face ce vă poruncim.

And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things that we command.

Az Úr pedig irányítsa szíveteket az Isten iránti szeretetre és a Krisztus iránti állhatatosságra.

Az Úr pedig igazgassa a ti szíveteket az Isten iránt való szeretetre, és Krisztus iránt való állhatatosságra.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Domnul să vă îndrepte inimile spre dragostea lui Dumnezeu şi spre răbdarea lui Hristos!

May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.

A mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus nevében pedig meghagyjuk nektek, testvéreim, hogy tartsátok távol magatokat minden olyan testvértől, aki rendetlenül él, nem pedig a tőlünk kapott utasítás szerint.

A mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus nevében pedig, rendeljük néktek, atyámfiai, hogy vonjátok el magatokat minden atyafitól, a ki rendetlenül él, és nem ama utasítás szerint, a melyet mi tőlünk kapott.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

În Numele Domnului nostru Isus Hristos, vă poruncim, fraţilor, să vă depărtaţi de orice frate care trăieşte în neorânduială, şi nu după învăţăturile pe care le-aţi primit de la noi.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.

For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you,

ingyen kenyeret sem ettünk senkinél, hanem fáradsággal és vesződséggel éjjel-nappal dolgoztunk, hogy közületek senkinek se legyünk terhére.

Sem ingyen kenyeret nem ettünk senkinél, hanem munkával és fáradsággal, éjjel-nappal dolgozva, hogy közületek senkinek se legyünk terhére.

Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

N-am mâncat de pomană pâinea nimănui; ci, lucrând şi ostenindu-ne, am muncit zi şi noapte, ca să nu fim povară nimănui dintre voi.

nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you.

Nem azért, mintha nem volna hozzá jogunk, hanem hogy önmagunkat követendő példaként állítsuk elétek.

Nem azért, mintha nem volna rá jogunk, hanem hogy magunkat például adjuk néktek, hogy minket kövessetek.

Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

Nu că n-am fi avut dreptul acesta, dar am vrut să vă dăm în noi înşine o pildă vrednică de urmat.

It was not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves an example to imitate.

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Căci, când eram la voi, vă spuneam lămurit: „Cine nu vrea să lucreze nici să nu mănânce.”

For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.

Mert halljuk, hogy némelyek rendetlenül élnek közöttetek, akik semmit sem dolgoznak, hanem haszontalanságokkal foglalkoznak.

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

Auzim însă că unii dintre voi trăiesc în neorânduială, nu lucrează nimic, ci se ţin de nimicuri.

For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies.

Az ilyeneknek azonban elrendeljük, és intjük őket a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztusban, hogy csendesen munkálkodva a maguk kenyerét egyék.

Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

Îndemnăm pe oamenii aceştia şi-i sfătuim, în Domnul nostru Isus Hristos, să-şi mănânce pâinea lucrând în linişte.

Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.

Ti pedig, testvéreim, meg ne restüljetek a jó cselekvésében.

Ti pedig, atyámfiai, meg ne restüljetek a jó cselekvésben.

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

Voi, fraţilor, să nu osteniţi în facerea binelui.

As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.

Ha pedig valaki nem hallgat arra a szóra, amelyet levélben vettetek, azt jegyezzétek meg, és ne tartsatok vele kapcsolatot, hogy megszégyenüljön.

Ha pedig valaki nem engedelmeskedik a mi levél által való beszédünknek, azt jegyezzétek meg; és ne társalkodjatok vele, hogy megszégyenüljön.

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

Şi, dacă n-ascultă cineva ce spunem noi în această epistolă, însemnaţi-vi-l şi să n-aveţi niciun fel de legături cu el, ca să-i fie ruşine.

If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed.

De ne tekintsétek ellenségnek, hanem intsétek, mint testvért.

De ne tartsátok ellenségnek, hanem intsétek, mint atyafit.

Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Să nu-l socotiţi ca pe un vrăjmaş, ci să-l mustraţi ca pe un frate.

Do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

Maga a békesség Ura adjon nektek mindenkor minden tekintetben békességet. Az Úr legyen mindnyájatokkal!

Maga pedig a békességnek Ura adjon néktek mindenkor minden tekintetben békességet. Az Úr [legyen] mindnyájatokkal!

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

Însuşi Domnul păcii să vă dea totdeauna pacea în orice fel. Domnul să fie cu voi cu toţi!

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.

I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. This is the sign of genuineness in every letter of mine; it is the way I write.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
