Pál, Szilvánusz és Timóteus a thesszalonikai gyülekezetnek, Istenben, a mi Atyánkban és az Úr Jézus Krisztusban: Kegyelem nektek és békesség.

Pál, Silvánus és Timótheus a Thessalonikabeliek gyülekezetének, [a] [mely] [van] az Atya Istenben és az Úr Jézus Krisztusban: kegyelem néktek és békesség Istentől, a mi Atyánktól, és az Úr Jézus Krisztustól.

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hálát adunk Istennek mindenkor mindnyájatokért, amikor megemlékezünk rólatok imádságainkban.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

Mulţumim totdeauna lui Dumnezeu pentru voi toţi pe care vă pomenim necurmat în rugăciunile noastre;

We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers,

Szüntelenül emlegetjük a mi Istenünk és Atyánk előtt hitetek munkáját, szeretetetek fáradozását és a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus felől való reménységetek állhatatosságát.

Szüntelenül emlegetve a ti hitetek munkáját, és a ti szeretetetek fáradozását, és a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus felől való reménységeteknek állhatatosságát, az Isten előtt, a mi Atyánk előtt:

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

căci ne aducem aminte fără încetare, înaintea lui Dumnezeu, Tatăl nostru, de lucrarea credinţei voastre, de osteneala dragostei voastre şi de tăria nădejdii în Domnul nostru Isus Hristos!

remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Tudjuk, Istentől szeretett testvéreim, hogy választottak vagytok,

Tudván, Istentől szeretett atyámfiai, hogy ti ki vagytok választva;

Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

Ştim, fraţi preaiubiţi de Dumnezeu, alegerea voastră.

For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you,

mert a mi evangéliumunk nemcsak szavakban jutott el hozzátok, hanem erővel, Szentlélekkel és teljes meggyőződéssel, amint tudjátok is, hogy milyenek voltunk közöttetek, tiértetek.

Hogy a mi evangyéliomunk ti nálatok nem áll csak szóban, hanem [isteni] erőkben is, Szent Lélekben is, sok bizodalomban is; a miképen tudjátok, hogy milyenek voltunk közöttetek ti érettetek.

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

În adevăr, Evanghelia noastră v-a fost propovăduită nu numai cu vorbe, ci cu putere, cu Duhul Sfânt şi cu o mare îndrăzneală. Căci ştiţi că, din dragoste pentru voi, am fost aşa printre voi.

because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.

És ti a mi követőinkké lettetek és az Úréi, befogadva az igét sokféle szorongattatás között, a Szentlélek örömével,

És ti a mi követőinkké lettetek és az Úréi, befogadván az ígét sokféle szorongattatás között, Szent Lélek örömével;

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.

Şi voi înşivă aţi călcat pe urmele mele şi pe urmele Domnului, întrucât aţi primit Cuvântul, în multe necazuri, cu bucuria care vine de la Duhul Sfânt;

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

úgyhogy minden hívő számára példaképpé lettetek Macedóniában és Akhájában.

Úgy hogy példaképekké lettetek Maczedóniában és Akhájában minden hívőre nézve.

So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.

aşa că aţi ajuns o pildă pentru toţi credincioşii din Macedonia şi din Ahaia.

so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.

Mert nemcsak Macedóniában és Akhájában csendült ki tőletek az Úr beszéde, hanem mindenhol híre ment Istenbe vetett hiteteknek, annyira, hogy szükségtelen arról bármit is mondanunk.

Mert nemcsak Maczedóniában és Akhájában zendült ki tőletek az Úr beszéde, hanem minden helyen is híre terjedt a ti Istenben vetett hiteteknek, annyira, hogy szükségtelen arról valamit szólnunk.

For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

În adevăr, nu numai că de la voi Cuvântul Domnului a răsunat prin Macedonia şi Ahaia, dar vestea despre credinţa voastră în Dumnezeu s-a răspândit pretutindeni, aşa că n-avem nevoie să mai vorbim de ea.

For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything.

Mert azok maguk hirdetik felőlünk, milyen fogadtatásban volt részünk nálatok, és miként fordultatok a bálványoktól Istenhez, hogy az élő és igaz Istennek szolgáljatok,

Mert azok magok hirdetik felőlünk, milyen volt a mi hozzátok való menetelünk, és miként tértetek meg az Istenhez a bálványoktól, hogy az élő és igaz Istennek szolgáljatok,

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

Căci ei înşişi istorisesc ce primire ne-aţi făcut şi cum de la idoli v-aţi întors la Dumnezeu, ca să slujiţi Dumnezeului celui viu şi adevărat

For they themselves report concerning us the kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,

és várjátok az ő Fiát a mennyből, Jézust, akit feltámasztott a halottak közül, és aki megszabadít minket az eljövendő haragtól.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

şi să aşteptaţi din ceruri pe Fiul Său, pe care L-a înviat din morţi, pe Isus, care ne izbăveşte de mânia viitoare.

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
