Jaj az ellenszegülőnek és undoknak, az erőszakos városnak!

Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!

Vai de cetatea îndărătnică şi spurcată, vai de cetatea plină de asuprire!

Nem hallgatott a szóra, nem fogadta el a fenyítést, nem bízott az ÚRban, nem közeledett Istenéhez.

She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.

Ea n-ascultă de niciun glas, nu ţine seama de mustrare, nu se încrede în Domnul, nu se apropie de Dumnezeul său.

She listens to no voice; she accepts no correction. She does not trust in the LORD; she does not draw near to her God.

Olyanok benne fejedelmei, mint az ordító oroszlánok, bírái, mint az este járó farkasok, egy csontot sem hagynak reggelre.

Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.

Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.

Prorocii ei sunt uşuratici şi înşelători; preoţii ei pângăresc lucrurile sfinte, calcă Legea.

Her prophets are fickle, treacherous men; her priests profane what is holy; they do violence to the law.

Ám igaz közöttük az ÚR, ő nem cselekszik hamisságot, ítéletét minden reggel napfényre hozza, nem mulasztja el. De a gonosz nem ismeri a szégyent!

Az Úr igaz ő benne, nem cselekszik hamisságot; reggelről reggelre napfényre hozza ítéletét; nem mulasztja el: de nem ismeri a szégyent a gonosz!

The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

Domnul este fără prihană în mijlocul ei. El nu face nicio nelegiuire; în fiecare dimineaţă, El Îşi scoate la lumină judecăţile, fără să înceteze vreodată; dar cine este nelegiuit nu ştie de ruşine!

The LORD within her is righteous; he does no injustice; every morning he shows forth his justice; each dawn he does not fail; but the unjust knows no shame.

Nemzeteket irtottam ki, elpusztultak bástyáik. Földúltam utcáikat, nincs, aki keresztülmenjen rajtuk. Rommá lettek városaik, egy ember sincs bennük, nincsen lakosuk!

Nemzeteket irtottam ki; elpusztultak tornyaik; feldúltam falvaikat, nincs, a ki átmenjen rajtok; elromboltattak városaik, egy ember sincs bennök, nincsen lakosuk!

I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.

„Am nimicit neamuri, le-am dărâmat turnurile, le-am pustiit uliţele, şi nu mai trece nimeni pe ele! Cetăţile lor sunt pustiite, nu mai au niciun om în ele şi nimeni nu mai locuieşte în ele!

“I have cut off nations; their battlements are in ruins; I have laid waste their streets so that no one walks in them; their cities have been made desolate, without a man, without an inhabitant.

Azt gondoltam: Csak félni fog engem, megfogadja az intést! Akkor nem pusztul el lakóhelye aszerint, amint végeztem felőle. De egyre gonoszabbra fordították minden cselekedetüket.

Mondtam: Csak félj engem, vedd fel a fenyítéket (akkor nem irtatott volna ki lakhelye; mindaz, a mit felőle végeztem): mégis mihelyt felvirradtak, rosszra indították minden cselekedetöket.

I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings.

Ziceam: „Dacă ai voi măcar să te temi de Mine şi să ţii seama de mustrare! Nu ţi-ar fi nimicită locuinţa şi n-ar veni peste tine toate pedepsele cu care te-am ameninţat.” Dar ei s-au grăbit să-şi strice toate faptele.

I said, ‘Surely you will fear me; you will accept correction. Then your dwelling would not be cut off according to all that I have appointed against you.’ But all the more they were eager to make all their deeds corrupt.

Ezért hát várjatok rám – ezt mondja az ÚR –, míg fölkelek, hogy ítéletet tegyek. Mert elvégeztem, hogy egybegyűjtöm a népeket, összegyűjtöm az országokat, hogy kiöntsem rájuk fölindulásomat, haragom egész hevét. Bizony, féltékeny haragom tüzében elpusztul az egész föld!

Azért várjatok rám, azt mondja az Úr, míg prédára kelek; mert elvégeztem, hogy egybegyűjtöm a népeket, hogy összeszedem az országokat, hogy kiöntsem rájok búsulásomat, haragomnak egész hevét, mert gerjedezésem tüzében emésztetik meg az egész föld!

Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

De aceea aşteptaţi numai, zice Domnul, până în ziua când Mă voi scula la pradă: căci am hotărât să strâng neamurile, să adun împărăţiile, ca să-Mi vărs urgia peste ele, toată aprinderea mâniei Mele; căci toată ţara va fi mistuită de focul geloziei Mele.

“Therefore wait for me,” declares the LORD, “for the day when I rise up to seize the prey. For my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them my indignation, all my burning anger; for in the fire of my jealousy all the earth shall be consumed.

Akkor majd tisztává változtatom a népek ajkát, hogy mindnyájan az ÚR nevét hívják segítségül, és őt szolgálják egy akarattal.

For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

“For at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the LORD and serve him with one accord.

Azon a napon nem kell szégyenkezned egyetlen cselekedeted miatt sem, amellyel vétkeztél ellenem. Mert akkor eltávolítom körödből azokat, akik kérkedve vigadoznak, és nem fogsz többé kevélykedni szent hegyemen.

Azon a napon nem szégyenülsz meg egyetlen cselekedetért sem, a melyekkel vétkeztél ellenem; mert akkor eltávolítom körödből azokat, a kik kérkedve örvendeznek benned, és nem kevélykedel többé az én szent hegyemen.

In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.

În ziua aceea, nu vei mai avea nevoie să roşeşti de toate faptele tale prin care ai păcătuit împotriva Mea; căci atunci voi scoate din mijlocul tău pe cei trufaşi, şi nu te vei mai îngâmfa pe muntele Meu cel sfânt!

“On that day you shall not be put to shame because of the deeds by which you have rebelled against me; for then I will remove from your midst your proudly exultant ones, and you shall no longer be haughty in my holy mountain.

De meghagyom közöttetek a nyomorult és szegény népet, amely az ÚR nevében keres menedéket.

És marasztok közötted nyomorult és szegény népet, a kik bíznak az Úr nevében.

I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.

Voi lăsa în mijlocul tău un popor smerit şi mic, care se va încrede în Numele Domnului.

But I will leave in your midst a people humble and lowly. They shall seek refuge in the name of the LORD,

Izráel maradéka nem cselekszik hamisságot, nem szól hazugságot, és nem találtatik szájában álnok nyelv, hanem legelésznek, lenyugszanak, és nem lesz, aki megrettentse őket.

The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

Strigă de bucurie, fiica Sionului! Strigă de veselie, Israele! Bucură-te şi saltă de veselie din toată inima ta, fiica Ierusalimului!

Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!

Elfordította rólad az ÚR az ítéletedet, eltérítette ellenségedet. Izráel királya! Veled van az ÚR, nem kell többé veszedelemtől félned!

Megváltoztatta az Úr a te ítéletedet, elfordította ellenségedet; Izráel királya, az Úr, közötted van, nem látsz többé gonoszt!

The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

Domnul a abătut de la tine pedepsele tale, a îndepărtat pe vrăjmaşul tău; Domnul, Împăratul lui Israel, este în mijlocul tău; nu trebuie să te mai temi de nicio nenorocire!

The LORD has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.

În ziua aceea se va zice Ierusalimului: „Nu te teme de nimic! Sioane, să nu-ţi slăbească mâinile!

On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.

Veled van az ÚR, a te Istened, ő erős és megment. Nagy örömmel örül neked, megújít szeretetével, ujjongással örvendezik neked.

Az Úr, a te Istened közötted van; erős ő, megtart; örül te rajtad örömmel, hallgat az ő szerelmében, énekléssel örvendez néked.

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Domnul Dumnezeul tău este în mijlocul tău, ca un viteaz care poate ajuta; Se va bucura de tine cu mare bucurie, va tăcea în dragostea Lui şi nu va mai putea de veselie pentru tine.”

The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.

„Voi strânge pe cei întristaţi, care sunt departe de adunarea sfântă, pe cei ieşiţi din sânul tău, asupra cărora acum apasă ocara.

I will gather those of you who mourn for the festival, so that you will no longer suffer reproach.

Íme, elbánok minden nyomorgatóddal abban az időben, és a sántát megsegítem, a szétszóródottakat összeszedem, híressé és hírnevessé teszem őket gyalázatuk földjén.

Ímé, én elbánok minden te nyomorgatóddal abban az időben, és megtartom a sántát, és összeszedem a szétszórtakat, és híresekké és nevesekké teszem őket az ő gyalázatjoknak egész földén.

Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

Behold, at that time I will deal with all your oppressors. And I will save the lame and gather the outcast, and I will change their shame into praise and renown in all the earth.

Abban az időben elhozlak titeket, akkor majd összeszedlek titeket. Bizony, hírnevessé és híressé teszlek titeket a föld minden népe között, amikor jóra fordítom sorsotokat a szemetek láttára – ezt mondja az ÚR.

At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

În vremea aceea, vă voi aduce înapoi; în vremea aceea, vă voi strânge; căci vă voi face o pricină de slavă şi de laudă între toate popoarele pământului, când voi aduce înapoi pe prinşii voştri de război sub ochii voştri, zice Domnul.”

At that time I will bring you in, at the time when I gather you together; for I will make you renowned and praised among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” says the LORD.
