Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.

Bogăţiile voastre au putrezit, şi hainele voastre sunt roase de molii.

Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten.

aranyotok és ezüstötök megrozsdásodott, és rozsdájuk bizonyság ellenetek, és megemészti testeteket, mint a tűz. Kincseket gyűjtöttetek az utolsó napokban.

Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Aurul şi argintul vostru au ruginit; şi rugina lor va fi o dovadă împotriva voastră: ca focul are să vă mănânce carnea! V-aţi strâns comori în zilele din urmă!

Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days.

Íme, a ti földjeiteket learató munkások bére, amit visszatartottatok, az égre kiált. És az aratók kiáltásai eljutottak a Seregek Urának fülébe.

Ímé a ti mezőiteket learató munkások bére, a mit ti elfogtatok, kiált. És az aratók kiáltásai eljutottak a Seregek Urának füleihez.

Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

Iată că plata lucrătorilor care v-au secerat câmpiile, şi pe care le-aţi oprit-o prin înşelăciune, strigă! Şi strigătele secerătorilor au ajuns la urechile Domnului oştirilor.

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.

Dőzsöltetek a földön, és tobzódtatok, hizlaltátok szíveteket a leölés napjára.

Dőzsöltetek e földön és dobzódtatok; szívetek legeltettétek mint áldozás napján.

Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

Aţi trăit pe pământ în plăceri şi în desfătări. V-aţi săturat inimile chiar într-o zi de măcel.

You have lived on the earth in luxury and in self-indulgence. You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.

Elítéltétek, megöltétek az igazat, s ő nem állt ellen nektek.

Elkárhoztattátok, megöltétek az igazat; nem áll ellent néktek.

Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

Aţi osândit, aţi omorât pe cel neprihănit care nu vi se împotrivea!

You have condemned and murdered the righteous person. He does not resist you.

Testvéreim, legyetek tehát hosszútűrők az Úr eljöveteléig. Íme, a földműves várja a föld drága gyümölcsét, türelmesen várja, amíg az korai és késői esőt kap.

Legyetek azért, atyámfiai, béketűrők az Úrnak eljöveteléig. Ímé a szántóvető várja a földnek drága gyümölcsét, béketűréssel várja, míg reggeli és estveli esőt kap.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Fiţi, dar, îndelung răbdători, fraţilor, până la venirea Domnului. Iată că plugarul aşteaptă roada scumpă al pământului, şi îl aşteaptă cu răbdare, până primeşte ploaie timpurie şi târzie.

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.

Legyetek ti is hosszútűrők, és erősítsétek meg szíveteket, mert az Úr eljövetele közel van.

Legyetek ti is béketűrők, [és] erősítsétek meg szíveteket, mert az Úrnak eljövetele közel van.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Fiţi şi voi îndelung răbdători, întăriţi-vă inimile, căci venirea Domnului este aproape.

You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Ne sóhajtozzatok egymás ellen, testvéreim, hogy el ne ítéltessetek! Íme, a Bíró az ajtó előtt áll.

Ne sóhajtozzatok egymás ellen, atyámfiai, hogy el ne ítéltessetek: ímé a Bíró az ajtó előtt áll.

Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Nu vă plângeţi unii împotriva altora, fraţilor, ca să nu fiţi judecaţi: iată că Judecătorul este chiar la uşă.

Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door.

A szenvedésben és hosszútűrésben vegyetek példát, testvéreim, a prófétáktól, akik az Úr nevében szóltak.

Például vegyétek, atyámfiai, a szenvedésben és béketűrésben a prófétákat, a kik az Úr nevében szólottak.

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

Fraţii mei, luaţi ca pildă de suferinţă şi de răbdare pe prorocii care au vorbit în Numele Domnului.

As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

Íme, boldognak mondjuk a tűrni tudókat. Jób hosszútűréséről hallottatok, és az Úrtól való végét láttátok, hogy az Úr igen irgalmas és könyörületes.

Ímé, boldogoknak mondjuk a tűrni tudókat. Jóbnak tűrését hallottátok, és az Úrtól való végét láttátok, hogy igen irgalmas az Úr és könyörületes.

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Iată, noi numim fericiţi pe cei ce au răbdat. Aţi auzit vorbindu-se despre răbdarea lui Iov şi aţi văzut ce sfârşit i-a dat Domnul şi cum Domnul este plin de milă şi de îndurare.

Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

Mindenekelőtt pedig, testvéreim, ne esküdjetek se az égre, se a földre, se semmi más esküvéssel, hanem legyen a ti igenetek igen, és a ti nemetek nem, hogy ne essetek ítélet alá.

Mindeneknek előtte pedig ne esküdjetek, atyámfiai, se az égre, se a földre, se semmi más esküvéssel. Hanem legyen a ti igenetek igen, és a nem nem; hogy kárhoztatás alá ne essetek.

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Mai presus de toate, fraţii mei, să nu vă juraţi nici pe cer, nici pe pământ, nici cu vreun altfel de jurământ. Ci „da” al vostru să fie „da”, şi „nu” să fie „nu” ca să nu cădeţi sub judecată.

But above all, my brothers, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.

Szenved valaki közöttetek? Imádkozzék! Öröme van valakinek? Dicséretet énekeljen!

Szenved-é valaki köztetek? Imádkozzék. Öröme van-é valakinek? Dícséretet énekeljen.

Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

Este vreunul printre voi în suferinţă? Să se roage! Este vreunul cu inimă bună? Să cânte cântări de laudă!

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

Beteg valaki közöttetek? Hívja magához a gyülekezet véneit, és imádkozzanak érte, és kenjék meg olajjal az Úr nevében.

Beteg-é valaki köztetek? Hívja magához a gyülekezet véneit, és imádkozzanak felette, megkenvén őt olajjal az Úrnak nevében.

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Este vreunul printre voi bolnav? Să cheme pe prezbiterii bisericii; şi să se roage pentru el, după ce-l vor unge cu untdelemn în Numele Domnului.

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

És a hitből fakadó imádság megtartja a beteget, és az Úr felsegíti őt. És ha bűnöket követett is el, bocsánatot nyer.

És a hitből való imádság megtartja a beteget, és az Úr felsegíti őt. És ha bűnt követett is el, megbocsáttatik néki.

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Rugăciunea făcută cu credinţă va mântui pe cel bolnav, şi Domnul îl va însănătoşi; şi, dacă a făcut păcate, îi vor fi iertate.

And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Valljátok meg bűneiteket egymásnak, és imádkozzatok egymásért, hogy meggyógyuljatok. Az igaz buzgó könyörgésének nagy ereje van.

Valljátok meg bűneiteket egymásnak és imádkozzatok egymásért, hogy meggyógyuljatok: mert igen hasznos az igaznak buzgóságos könyörgése.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Mărturisiţi-vă unii altora păcatele şi rugaţi-vă unii pentru alţii, ca să fiţi vindecaţi. Mare putere are rugăciunea fierbinte a celui neprihănit.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

Illés ember volt, hozzánk hasonló természettel, és amikor buzgó imádsággal kérte, hogy ne legyen eső, nem volt eső a földön három esztendeig és hat hónapig.

Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Ilie era un om supus aceloraşi slăbiciuni ca şi noi; şi s-a rugat cu stăruinţă să nu plouă, şi n-a plouat deloc în ţară trei ani şi şase luni.

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth.

Aztán ismét imádkozott, és az ég esőt adott, és a föld meghozta termését.

És ismét imádkozott, és az ég esőt adott, és a föld megtermé az ő gyümölcsét.

And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Apoi s-a rugat din nou, şi cerul a dat ploaie, şi pământul şi-a dat rodul.

Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.

Testvéreim, ha valaki közöttetek eltévelyedik az igazságtól, és megtéríti valaki,

Atyámfiai, hogyha valaki ti köztetek eltévelyedik az igazságtól, és megtéríti őt valaki,

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

Fraţilor, dacă s-a rătăcit vreunul dintre voi de la adevăr, şi-l întoarce un altul,

My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back,

tudja meg, hogy aki bűnöst térít meg a tévelygés útjáról, annak lelkét mentette meg a haláltól, és sok bűnt elfedez.

Tudja meg, hogy a ki bűnöst térít meg az ő tévelygő útjáról, lelket ment meg a haláltól és sok bűnt elfedez.

Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

să ştiţi că cine întoarce pe un păcătos de la rătăcirea căii lui, va mântui un suflet de la moarte şi va acoperi o sumedenie de păcate.

let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
