Kegyelem és békesség áradjon rátok bőségesen az Istennek és Jézusnak, a mi Urunknak megismerésében.

Kegyelem és békesség adassék néktek bőségesen az Istennek és Jézusnak a mi Urunknak megismerésében.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

Harul şi pacea să vă fie înmulţite prin cunoaşterea lui Dumnezeu şi a Domnului nostru Isus Hristos!

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

Az ő isteni ereje mindennel megajándékozott minket, ami az életre és kegyességre való az ő megismerése által, aki minket a saját dicsőségével és hatalmával elhívott,

Mivelhogy az ő isteni ereje mindennel megajándékozott minket, a mi az életre és kegyességre való, Annak megismerése által, a ki minket a saját dicsőségével és hatalmával elhívott;

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Dumnezeiasca Lui putere ne-a dăruit tot ce priveşte viaţa şi evlavia, prin cunoaşterea Celui ce ne-a chemat prin slava şi puterea Lui,

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,

amelyek által igen nagy és becses ígéretekkel ajándékozott meg bennünket, hogy általuk isteni természet részeseivé legyetek, kikerülve azt a romlottságot, amely a kívánság miatt van a világban.

A melyek által igen nagy és becses ígéretekkel ajándékozott meg bennünket; hogy azok által isteni természet részeseivé legyetek, kikerülvén a romlottságot, a mely a kívánságban van e világon.

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

prin care El ne-a dat făgăduinţele Lui nespus de mari şi scumpe, ca prin ele să vă faceţi părtaşi firii dumnezeieşti, după ce aţi fugit de stricăciunea care este în lume prin pofte.

by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

Éppen ezért minden igyekezettel azon legyetek, hogy a ti hitetekhez bőségesen adjatok még erényt, az erényhez ismeretet,

Ugyanerre pedig teljes igyekezetet is fordítván, a ti hitetek mellé ragasszatok jó cselekedetet, a jó cselekedet mellé tudományt,

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

De aceea, daţi-vă şi voi toate silinţele ca să uniţi cu credinţa voastră fapta; cu fapta, cunoştinţa;

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,

az ismerethez pedig önuralmat, az önuralomhoz türelmet, a türelemhez kegyességet,

A tudomány mellé pedig mértékletességet, a mértékletesség mellé pedig tűrést, a tűrés mellé pedig kegyességet,

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

cu cunoştinţa, înfrânarea; cu înfrânarea, răbdarea; cu răbdarea, evlavia;

and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,

a kegyességhez testvériességet, a testvériességhez szeretetet.

A kegyesség mellé pedig atyafiakhoz való hajlandóságot, az atyafiakhoz való hajlandóság mellé pedig szeretetet.

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

cu evlavia, dragostea de fraţi; cu dragostea de fraţi, iubirea de oameni.

and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

Mert ha ezek megvannak és gyarapodnak bennetek, nem lesztek sem tétlenek, sem gyümölcstelenek a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus megismerésében.

Mert ha ezek megvannak és gyarapodnak bennetek, nem tesznek titeket hivalkodókká, sem gyümölcstelenekké a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus megismerésére nézve.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Căci, dacă aveţi din belşug aceste lucruri în voi, ele nu vă vor lăsa să fiţi nici leneşi, nici neroditori în ce priveşte deplina cunoştinţă a Domnului nostru Isus Hristos.

For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Akiben pedig ezek nincsenek meg, az vak, rövidlátó, elfelejtkezett a régi bűneiből való megtisztulásáról.

Mert a kiben ezek nincsenek meg, az vak, rövidlátó, elfelejtkezvén a régi bűneiből való megtisztulásáról.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Dar cine nu are aceste lucruri este orb, umblă cu ochii închişi şi a uitat că a fost curăţat de vechile lui păcate.

For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.

Azért, testvéreim, igyekezzetek még inkább megerősíteni elhívatásotokat és kiválasztatásotokat, mert ha ezeket teszitek, soha nem buktok el.

Annakokáért, atyámfiai, igyekezzetek inkább a ti elhívatástokat és kiválasztatásotokat erőssé tenni; mert ha ezeket cselekszitek, nem ütköztök meg soha.

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

De aceea, fraţilor, căutaţi cu atât mai mult să vă întăriţi chemarea şi alegerea voastră; căci, dacă faceţi lucrul acesta, nu veţi aluneca niciodată.

Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.

Mert így gazdagon megadatik nektek a bemenetel a mi Urunk és Üdvözítőnk, Jézus Krisztus örök országába.

Mert ekképen gazdagon adatik majd néktek a mi Urunknak és megtartónknak, a Jézus Krisztusnak örök országába való bemenetel.

For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

În adevăr, în chipul acesta vi se va da din belşug intrare în Împărăţia veşnică a Domnului şi Mântuitorului nostru Isus Hristos.

For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Azért mindenkor emlékeztetni foglak titeket ezekre, noha tudjátok ezeket, és erősek vagytok a jelenvaló igazságban.

Annakokáért nem mulasztom el, hogy mindenkor emlékeztesselek titeket ezekre, hogy tudjátok [ezeket], és erősek vagytok a jelenvaló igazságban.

Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

De aceea, voi fi gata să vă aduc totdeauna aminte de lucrurile acestea, măcar că le ştiţi şi sunteţi tari în adevărul pe care-l aveţi.

Therefore I intend always to remind you of these qualities, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have.

De amíg ebben a porsátorban vagyok, helyesnek tartom, hogy emlékeztetéssel ébresztgesselek titeket.

Méltónak vélem pedig, a míg ebben a sátorban vagyok, hogy emlékeztetés által ébresztgesselek titeket;

Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

Dar socotesc că este drept, cât voi mai fi în cortul acesta, să vă ţin treji aducându-vă aminte;

I think it right, as long as I am in this body, to stir you up by way of reminder,

Mert tudom, hogy hamar leteszem porsátramat, ahogyan a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus is megjelentette nekem.

Mint a ki tudom, hogy hamar leteszem sátoromat, a miképen a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus is megjelentette nékem.

Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

căci ştiu că dezbrăcarea de cortul meu va veni deodată, după cum mi-a arătat Domnul nostru Isus Hristos.

since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.

De igyekszem, hogy halálom után is mindenkor megemlékezzetek ezekről.

De igyekezni fogok azon, hogy ti az én halálom után is mindenkor megemlékezhessetek ezekről.

Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.

Îmi voi da osteneala, dar, ca, şi după moartea mea, să vă puteţi aduce totdeauna aminte de aceste lucruri.

And I will make every effort so that after my departure you may be able at any time to recall these things.

Mert nem kitalált meséket követve ismertettük meg veletek a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus hatalmát és megjelenését, hanem mint akik szemtanúi voltunk nagyságának.

Mert nem mesterkélt meséket követve ismertettük meg veletek a mi Urunk Jézus Krisztus hatalmát és eljövetelét; hanem mint a kik szemlélői voltunk az ő nagyságának.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

În adevăr, v-am făcut cunoscut puterea şi venirea Domnului nostru Isus Hristos, nu întemeindu-ne pe nişte basme meşteşugit alcătuite, ci ca unii care am văzut noi înşine cu ochii noştri mărirea Lui.

For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Mert amikor az Atya Istentől azt a tisztességet és dicsőséget nyerte, hogy a felséges dicsőség ilyen szózata jutott hozzá: „Ez az én szeretett Fiam, akiben gyönyörködöm”,

For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Căci El a primit de la Dumnezeu Tatăl cinste şi slavă, atunci când, din slava minunată, s-a auzit deasupra Lui un glas care zicea: „Acesta este Fiul Meu preaiubit în care Îmi găsesc plăcerea.”

For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased,”

And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

Şi noi înşine am auzit acest glas venind din cer, când eram cu El pe muntele cel sfânt.

we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain.

És igen biztos nálunk a prófétai beszéd is, amelyre jól teszitek, ha figyeltek, mint sötét helyen világító lámpára, amíg felvirrad a nappal, és hajnalcsillag kel fel a szívetekben.

És igen biztos nálunk a prófétai beszéd [is], a melyre jól teszitek, ha figyelmeztek, mint sötét helyen világító szövétnekre, míg nappal virrad, és hajnalcsillag kél fel szívetekben;

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Şi avem cuvântul prorociei făcut şi mai tare; la care bine faceţi că luaţi aminte, ca la o lumină care străluceşte într-un loc întunecos, până se va crăpa de ziuă şi va răsări luceafărul de dimineaţă în inimile voastre.

And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Căci nicio prorocie n-a fost adusă prin voia omului; ci oamenii au vorbit de la Dumnezeu, mânaţi de Duhul Sfânt.

For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
