A köztetek levő presbitereket kérem én, a presbitertárs, Krisztus szenvedésének tanúja és az eljövendő dicsőség részese:

The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

Sfătuiesc pe prezbiterii dintre voi, eu, care sunt un prezbiter ca şi ei, un martor al patimilor lui Hristos şi părtaş al slavei care va fi descoperită:

So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed:

legeltessétek Isten köztetek levő nyáját, gondot viselve rá ne kényszerből, hanem önként, ne rút nyerészkedésből, hanem készségesen,

Legeltessétek az Istennek köztetek lévő nyáját, gondot viselvén arra nem kényszerítésből, hanem örömest; sem nem rút nyerészkedésből, hanem jóindulattal;

Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

păstoriţi turma lui Dumnezeu care este sub paza voastră, nu de silă, ci de bunăvoie, după voia lui Dumnezeu; nu pentru un câştig mârşav, ci cu lepădare de sine.

shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly;

ne úgy, mint akik uralkodnak a rájuk bízottakon, hanem mint akik példaképei a nyájnak.

Sem nem úgy, hogy uralkodjatok a gyülekezeteken, hanem mint példányképei a nyájnak.

Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

Nu ca şi cum aţi stăpâni peste cei ce v-au căzut la împărţire, ci făcându-vă pilde turmei.

not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.

És amikor megjelenik a főpásztor, elnyeritek a dicsőség hervadhatatlan koszorúját.

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Şi când Se va arăta Păstorul cel mare, veţi căpăta cununa care nu se poate veşteji, a slavei.

And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

Hasonlóképpen, ti, ifjabbak, engedelmeskedjetek az idősebbeknek, mindnyájan pedig egymás iránt öltsétek magatokra az alázatosságot, mert Isten a kevélyeknek ellenáll, az alázatosaknak pedig kegyelmet ad.

Hasonlatosképen ti ifjabbak engedelmeskedjetek a véneknek: mindnyájan pedig, egymásnak engedelmeskedvén, az alázatosságot öltsétek fel, mert az Isten a kevélyeknek ellene áll, az alázatosaknak pedig kegyelmet ád.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Tot aşa şi voi, tinerilor, fiţi supuşi celor bătrâni. Şi toţi, în legăturile voastre, să fiţi împodobiţi cu smerenie. Căci „Dumnezeu stă împotriva celor mândri, dar celor smeriţi le dă har.”

Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Şi aruncaţi asupra Lui toate îngrijorările voastre, căci El însuşi îngrijeşte de voi.

casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Józanok legyetek, vigyázzatok, mert a ti ellenségetek, az ördög mint ordító oroszlán szertejár, keresve, hogy kit nyeljen el.

Józanok legyetek, vigyázzatok; mert a ti ellenségetek, az ördög, mint ordító oroszlán szerte jár, keresvén, kit elnyeljen:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Fiţi treji şi vegheaţi! Pentru că potrivnicul vostru, diavolul, dă târcoale ca un leu care răcneşte şi caută pe cine să înghită.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Álljatok ellene, erősek lévén a hitben, tudva, hogy ugyanazok a szenvedések telnek be testvéreiteken a világban.

A kinek álljatok ellen, erősek lévén a hitben, tudva, hogy a világban lévő atyafiságotokon ugyanazok a szenvedések telnek be.

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Împotriviţi-vă lui tari în credinţă, ştiind că şi fraţii voştri în lume trec prin aceleaşi suferinţe ca voi.

Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

A minden kegyelemnek Istene pedig, aki az ő örök dicsőségére hívott el titeket Krisztusban, miután rövid ideig szenvedtetek, ő maga fog teljessé, erőssé, szilárddá és állhatatossá tenni.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Dumnezeul oricărui har, care v-a chemat în Hristos Isus la slava Sa veşnică, după ce veţi suferi puţină vreme, vă va desăvârşi, vă va întări, vă va da putere şi vă va face neclintiţi.

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Szilvánusz által, aki – mint gondolom – hű testvéretek, röviden írtam, bátorítva titeket és bizonyságot téve arról, hogy az az Isten igaz kegyelme, amelyben álltok.

By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

V-am scris aceste puţine rânduri prin Silvan, care cred că este un frate credincios, ca să vă sfătuiesc şi să vă adeveresc că adevăratul har al lui Dumnezeu este harul acesta de care v-aţi alipit.

By Silvanus, a faithful brother as I regard him, I have written briefly to you, exhorting and declaring that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it.

Greet one another with the kiss of love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.
