Ha azért van Krisztusban vigasztalás, ha van szeretetteljes bátorítás, ha van Lélekben való közösség, ha van irgalom és könyörületesség,

Ha annakokáért [helye van] Krisztusban az intésnek, ha [helye van] a szeretet vígasztalásának, ha [helye van] a Lélekben való közösségnek, ha [helye van] a szívnek és könyörületességnek,

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Deci, dacă este vreo îndemnare în Hristos, dacă este vreo mângâiere în dragoste, dacă este vreo legătură a Duhului, dacă este vreo milostivire şi vreo îndurare,

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,

teljesítsétek be az én örömömet, hogy egyetértetek, egyazon szeretetben ugyanarra törekedtek,

Teljesítsétek be az én örömömet, hogy egyenlő indulattal legyetek, ugyanazon szeretettel viseltetvén, egy érzésben, egyugyanazon indulattal lévén;

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

faceţi-mi bucuria deplină şi aveţi o simţire, o dragoste, un suflet şi un gând.

complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

semmit sem cselekedve versengésből, sem hiábavaló dicsőségből, hanem alázatosan egymást különbnek tartva magatoknál.

Semmit nem cselekedvén versengésből, sem hiábavaló dicsőségből, hanem alázatosan egymást különbeknek tartván ti magatoknál.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Nu faceţi nimic din duh de ceartă sau din slavă deşartă; ci, în smerenie, fiecare să privească pe altul mai presus de el însuşi.

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

Ne keresse senki a maga hasznát, hanem mindenki legyen tekintettel a másikra is.

Ne nézze kiki a maga [hasznát,] hanem mindenki a másokét is.

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Fiecare din voi să se uite nu la foloasele lui, ci şi la foloasele altora.

Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Az az indulat legyen bennetek, amely Krisztus Jézusban is volt,

Annakokáért az az indulat legyen bennetek, mely volt a Krisztus Jézusban is,

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Să aveţi în voi gândul acesta care era şi în Hristos Isus:

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,

aki amikor Isten formájában volt, nem tekintette zsákmánynak azt, hogy Istennel egyenlő,

A ki, mikor Istennek formájában vala, nem tekintette zsákmánynak azt, hogy [ő] az Istennel egyenlő,

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

El, măcar că avea chipul lui Dumnezeu, totuşi n-a crezut ca un lucru de apucat să fie deopotrivă cu Dumnezeu,

who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,

hanem önmagát megüresítette, szolgai formát vett fel, és hasonló lett az emberekhez.

Hanem önmagát megüresíté, szolgai formát vévén föl, emberekhez hasonlóvá lévén;

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

ci S-a dezbrăcat pe Sine însuşi şi a luat un chip de rob, făcându-Se asemenea oamenilor.

but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.

És amikor emberi formában volt, megalázta magát, engedelmes volt halálig, mégpedig a kereszthaláláig.

És mikor olyan állapotban találtatott mint ember, megalázta magát, engedelmes lévén halálig, még pedig a keresztfának haláláig.

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

La înfăţişare a fost găsit ca un om, S-a smerit şi S-a făcut ascultător până la moarte, şi încă moarte de cruce.

And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Ezért Isten is felmagasztalta őt, és olyan nevet ajándékozott neki, amely minden név fölött való,

Annakokáért az Isten is felmagasztalá őt, és ajándékoza néki oly nevet, a mely minden név fölött való;

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

De aceea şi Dumnezeu L-a înălţat nespus de mult şi I-a dat Numele care este mai presus de orice nume;

Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,

hogy Jézus nevére minden térd meghajoljon, mennyeieké, földieké és a föld alattiaké,

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

pentru ca, în Numele lui Isus, să se plece orice genunchi al celor din ceruri, de pe pământ şi de sub pământ,

so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

és minden nyelv vallja, hogy Jézus Krisztus Úr az Atya Isten dicsőségére.

És minden nyelv vallja, hogy Jézus Krisztus Úr az Atya Isten dicsőségére.

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

şi orice limbă să mărturisească, spre slava lui Dumnezeu Tatăl, că Isus Hristos este Domnul.

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Azért, szeretteim, ahogyan mindenkor engedelmeskedtetek, nemcsak jelenlétemben, hanem sokkal inkább most távollétemben, félelemmel és rettegéssel munkáljátok üdvösségeteket,

Annakokáért, szerelmeseim, a miképen mindenkor engedelmeskedtetek, nem úgy, mint az én jelenlétemben csak, hanem most sokkal inkább az én távollétemben, félelemmel és rettegéssel vigyétek véghez a ti idvességteket;

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Astfel, dar, preaiubiţilor, după cum totdeauna aţi fost ascultători, duceţi până la capăt mântuirea voastră, cu frică şi cutremur, nu numai când sunt eu de faţă, ci cu mult mai mult acum, în lipsa mea.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Căci Dumnezeu este Acela care lucrează în voi şi vă dă, după plăcerea Lui, şi voinţa şi înfăptuirea.

for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Zúgolódás és kételkedés nélkül tegyetek mindent,

Mindeneket zúgolódások és versengések nélkül cselekedjetek;

Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

Faceţi toate lucrurile fără cârtiri şi fără şovăieli,

Do all things without grumbling or disputing,

hogy feddhetetlenek és tiszták legyetek, Isten szeplőtlen gyermekei az elferdült és elvetemedett nemzedékben, akik között ragyogtok, mint a csillagok a világban,

Hogy legyetek feddhetetlenek és tiszták, Istennek szeplőtlen gyermekei az elfordult és elvetemedett nemzetség közepette, kik között fényletek, mint csillagok e világon.

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

ca să fiţi fără prihană şi curaţi, copii ai lui Dumnezeu, fără vină, în mijlocul unui neam ticălos şi stricat, în care străluciţi ca nişte lumini în lume,

that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

az élet beszédéhez ragaszkodva, hogy dicsekedhessem majd a Krisztus napján, hogy nem futottam hiába, és nem fáradtam hiába.

Életnek beszédét tartván elébök; hogy dicsekedhessem majd a Krisztus napján, hogy nem futottam hiába, sem nem fáradtam hiába.

Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

ţinând sus Cuvântul vieţii; aşa ca, în ziua lui Hristos, să mă pot lăuda că n-am alergat, nici nu m-am ostenit în zadar.

holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.

De ha kiontatom is italáldozatként hitetek áldozatában és szolgálatában, örülök, együtt örülök mindnyájatokkal.

De ha kiontatom is italáldozatként a ti hitetek áldozatánál és papiszolgálatánál, [mégis] örülök, és együtt örülök mindnyájatokkal;

Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

Şi chiar dacă va trebui să fiu turnat ca o jertfă de băutură peste jertfa şi slujba credinţei voastre, eu mă bucur, şi mă bucur cu voi toţi.

Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.

Ugyanígy ti is örüljetek, örüljetek velem együtt.

For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

Tot aşa şi voi, bucuraţi-vă, şi bucuraţi-vă împreună cu mine.

Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.

Remélem az Úr Jézusban, hogy Timóteust hamarosan elküldöm hozzátok, hogy dolgaitokról értesülve én is felviduljak.

Reménylem pedig az Úr Jézusban, hogy Timótheust rövid nap elküldöm tihozzátok, hogy én is megviduljak, megértvén a ti dolgaitokat.

But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

Nădăjduiesc, în Domnul Isus, să vă trimit în curând pe Timotei, ca să fiu şi eu cu inimă bună când o să am ştiri despre voi.

I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be cheered by news of you.

Mert nincs senkim, aki hozzá hasonló lelkületű lenne, és igazán szívén viselné dolgaitokat.

Mert nincsen velem senki hozzá hasonló indulatú, a ki igazán szívén viselné dolgaitokat.

For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.

Căci n-am pe nimeni care să-mi împărtăşească simţirile ca el şi să se îngrijească într-adevăr de starea voastră.

For I have no one like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.

Mert mindenki a maga hasznát keresi, nem a Jézus Krisztusét.

For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

Ce-i drept, toţi umblă după foloasele lor, şi nu după ale lui Isus Hristos.

For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

Az ő kipróbált voltát pedig ismeritek, hogy úgy szolgált együtt velem az evangélium ügyében, mint atyjával a gyermek.

But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.

Ştiţi râvna lui încercată; cum, ca un copil cu tatăl lui, a lucrat ca un rob împreună cu mine pentru înaintarea Evangheliei.

But you know Timothy’s proven worth, how as a son with a father he has served with me in the gospel.

Azt remélem, hogy mihamarabb elküldöm, mihelyt meglátom, hogyan alakulnak dolgaim.

Őt azért reménylem, hogy elküldöm, mihelyt meglátom az én dolgaimat, tüstént;

Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.

Pe el, dar, nădăjduiesc să vi-l trimit, de îndată ce voi vedea ce întorsătură vor lua lucrurile cu privire la mine.

I hope therefore to send him just as soon as I see how it will go with me,

De bízom az Úrban, hogy magam is csakhamar elmegyek.

Bízom pedig az Úrban, hogy magam is csakhamar el fogok menni.

But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.

Şi am încredere în Domnul că în curând voi veni şi eu.

and I trust in the Lord that shortly I myself will come also.

De szükségesnek tartottam, hogy visszaküldjem hozzátok Epafroditosz testvéremet, munkatársamat és bajtársamat, aki, mint a ti küldöttetek, szükségeimben szolgálatomra volt,

De szükségesnek tartám, hogy Epafróditust, az én atyámfiát és munkatársamat és bajtársamat, néktek pedig követeteket és szükségemben áldozatot hozó szolgátokat hazaküldjem hozzátok;

Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.

Am socotit de trebuinţă să vă trimit pe Epafrodit, fratele şi tovarăşul meu de lucru şi de luptă, trimisul şi slujitorul vostru pentru nevoile mele.

I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need,

For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.

for he has been longing for you all and has been distressed because you heard that he was ill.

Mert bizony halálosan beteg volt, de Isten könyörült rajta, de nemcsak rajta, hanem rajtam is, hogy szomorúságomra szomorúság ne jöjjön.

Mert bizony beteg volt, halálhoz közel; de az Isten könyörült rajta, nem csak ő rajta pedig, hanem én rajtam is, hogy szomorúság ne jőjjön szomorúságomra.

For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

Ce-i drept, a fost bolnav şi foarte aproape de moarte, dar Dumnezeu a avut milă de el. Şi nu numai de el, ci şi de mine, ca să n-am întristare peste întristare.

Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

Sietve útnak indítottam tehát, hogy viszontlássátok, és örüljetek, és nekem is kisebb legyen a szomorúságom.

Annakokáért hamarabb küldtem őt haza, hogy meglátván őt, ismét örüljetek, és nékem is kisebb legyen a szomorúságom.

I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

L-am trimis, dar, cu atât mai în grabă, ca să-l vedeţi şi să vă bucuraţi iarăşi şi să fiu şi eu mai puţin mâhnit.

I am the more eager to send him, therefore, that you may rejoice at seeing him again, and that I may be less anxious.

Fogadjátok őt az Úrban teljes örömmel, és becsüljétek meg az ilyeneket,

Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:

Primiţi-l deci în Domnul, cu toată bucuria; şi preţuiţi pe astfel de oameni.

So receive him in the Lord with all joy, and honor such men,

mert a Krisztus dolgáért jutott majdnem halálra, amikor életét kockáztatta, hogy a nekem tett szolgálattal kárpótolja hiányotokat.

Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

for he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete what was lacking in your service to me.
