Abdiás látomása. Így szól az én Istenem, az ÚR Edómról: Hírt hallottunk az ÚRtól, hírnök küldetett a népekhez: Keljetek föl, és haddal támadjunk rá!

Abdiás látása. Így szól az Úr Isten Edomról: Hírt hallottunk az Úrtól! És hírnök küldetett a népekhez: keljetek fel és támadjunk reá haddal!

The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

Prorocia lui Obadia. Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu despre Edom: – Noi am auzit o veste din partea Domnului, şi un sol a fost trimis cu ea printre neamuri, zicând: „Sculaţi-vă, să mergem împotriva Edomului ca să ne războim cu el!” –

The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord GOD concerning Edom: We have heard a report from the LORD, and a messenger has been sent among the nations: “Rise up! Let us rise against her for battle!”

Íme, kicsinnyé teszlek a népek között, fölöttébb utálatos leszel.

Ímé, kicsinynyé tettelek a népek között; felettébb útálatos vagy.

Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.

„Iată, te voi face mic printre neamuri, vei fi cel mai dispreţuit.

Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you shall be utterly despised.

Szíved kevélysége csalt meg téged, aki sziklahasadékokban laksz, akinek lakóhelye magasan van, és aki azt mondod szívedben: Ki taszíthatna engem a földre?

Szíved kevélysége csalt meg téged, ki szikla-hasadékokban lakozol, kinek lakóhelye magasan van, a ki mondja az ő szívében: Ki vonhatna le engem a síkra?!

The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

Căci mândria inimii tale te-a dus în rătăcire, pe tine care locuieşti în crăpăturile stâncilor şi domneşti în înălţime; de aceea, tu zici în tine însuţi: „Cine mă va arunca la pământ?”

The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rock, in your lofty dwelling, who say in your heart, “Who will bring me down to the ground?”

Ha olyan magasra szállnál is, mint a sas, és ha a csillagok közé raknád is fészkedet, onnan is lerántalak – ezt mondja az ÚR.

Ha oly magasra szállnál is, mint a sas, és ha a csillagok közé raknád is fészkedet: onnan is levonnálak, ezt mondja az Úr.

Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

Dar, chiar dacă ai locui tot atât de sus ca vulturul, chiar dacă ţi-ai aşeza cuibul între stele, tot te voi arunca jos şi de acolo, zice Domnul.

Though you soar aloft like the eagle, though your nest is set among the stars, from there I will bring you down, declares the LORD.

Ha tolvajok törnének rád vagy éjjeli rablók – ó, hogy tönkre fogsz menni! –, nem annyit lopnának-e, amennyit akarnak? Ha szőlőszüretelők jönnének rád, nem hagynának böngészésre valót.

Ha tolvajok törnének reád, avagy éjjeli rablók, (hogy elpusztíttattál!), nem [annyit] lopnának-é, [a mennyi] elegendő?! Ha szőlőszedők jönnének reád, nem hagynának-é gerezdeket?!

If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes?

Dacă ar fi intrat la tine nişte hoţi sau nişte tâlhari de noapte – cum eşti de pustiit! – ar fi luat ei oare mai mult decât ar fi putut? Dacă ar fi venit nişte culegători de vie la tine, n-ar fi lăsat ei niciun strugure pe urmă?

If thieves came to you, if plunderers came by night— how you have been destroyed!— would they not steal only enough for themselves? If grape gatherers came to you, would they not leave gleanings?

Mennyire kifosztják Ézsaut, hogy fölkutatják rejtett kincseit!

Mennyire kifosztogatták Ézsaut; felkutatták rejtett kincseit!

How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!

Vai! Ce scormonit este Esau! Cum i s-au descoperit comorile!

How Esau has been pillaged, his treasures sought out!

A határig űz minden szövetségesed, megcsalnak, levernek jó barátaid; kenyeret adtál nekik, de ők tőrbe csalnak. És ő nem érti.

A határig űznek ki összes frigytársaid; megcsalnak, levernek szövetségeseid; kenyeredet tőrül vetik alád. Nincsen benne okosság!

All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; that they eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.

Toţi cei uniţi cu tine te-au izgonit înapoi până la hotar, prietenii tăi te-au înşelat şi te-au stăpânit. Cei ce mâncau din pâinea ta ţi-au întins curse pe care nu le-ai băgat de seamă!

All your allies have driven you to your border; those at peace with you have deceived you; they have prevailed against you; those who eat your bread have set a trap beneath you— you have no understanding.

Azon a napon – ezt mondja az ÚR – vajon nem vesztem-e ki a bölcseket Edómból és az értelmet Ézsau hegyéről?!

Azon a napon, ezt mondja az Úr, nem vesztem-é ki a bölcseket Edomból, és az értelmet az Ézsau hegyéről?!

Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?

Oare, zice Domnul, nu voi pierde Eu în ziua aceea pe cei înţelepţi din Edom şi priceperea din muntele lui Esau?

Will I not on that day, declares the LORD, destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of Mount Esau?

Megrémülnek vitézeid, ó, Témán, mert mindenkit kiirtanak öldöklés által Ézsau hegyéről.

És megrémülnek a te vitézeid, oh Témán! hogy kiirtassék mindenki az Ézsau hegyéről az öldöklés által.

And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

Vitejii tăi, Temane, se vor înspăimânta, pentru ca toţi cei din muntele lui Esau să piară în măcel.

And your mighty men shall be dismayed, O Teman, so that every man from Mount Esau will be cut off by slaughter.

A Jákób öcséd ellen elkövetett erőszakért szégyen borul rád, és mindörökre kiirtanak!

A Jákób öcséd ellen [elkövetett] erőszakért szégyen borul reád, és kivágatol mindörökre!

For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever.

Din pricina silniciei făcute împotriva fratelui tău Iacov, vei fi acoperit de ruşine şi vei fi nimicit cu desăvârşire pentru totdeauna.

Because of the violence done to your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever.

Mert te félreálltál, amikor idegenek rabolták kincseit, és barbárok törtek be kapuján, Jeruzsálemre pedig sorsot vetettek: te is olyan voltál, mint bármelyikük.

A mikor vele szembeálltál; a mikor serege idegenek rabjává lett, és idegenek törtek be kapuján és Jeruzsálemre sorsot vetettek: olyan voltál te is, mint bármelyik közülök.

In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.

Căci în ziua când stăteai în faţa lui, în ziua când străinii îi luau averea, când străinii intrau pe porţile lui şi aruncau sorţul asupra Ierusalimului, şi tu erai atunci ca unul din ei!

On the day that you stood aloof, on the day that strangers carried off his wealth and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them.

De ne nézz kárörömmel öcséd napján, szerencsétlenségének napján, és ne örvendj Júda fiain veszedelmük napján! Ne kérkedj a szorongattatás napján!

De ne gyönyörködjél öcsédnek napján, az ő szerencsétlenségének napján; és ne örvendj a Júda fiain az ő veszedelmök napján, és ne kérkedjél a szorongattatás napján.

But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

Nu trebuia să te uiţi mulţumit la ziua fratelui tău, în ziua nenorocirii lui, nu trebuia să te bucuri de copiii lui Iuda, în ziua pieirii lor, şi nu trebuia să vorbeşti cu semeţie, în ziua strâmtorării!

But do not gloat over the day of your brother in the day of his misfortune; do not rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their ruin; do not boast in the day of distress.

Ne törj be népem kapuján nyomorúsága napján, ne nézd te is kárörömmel a baját nyomorúsága napján! Ne nyúljatok kincseihez nyomorúsága napján!

Ne törj be népem kapuján nyomorúságuk napján; ne gyönyörködjél te is a baján nyomorúsága napján; és ne nyúlj az ő jószágához nyomorúsága napján;

Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity;

Nici nu trebuia să intri pe porţile poporului Meu, în ziua nenorocirii lui, nici nu trebuia să te bucuri de nenorocirea lui, în ziua prăpădului lui, şi nu trebuia să pui mâna pe bogăţiile lui, în ziua prăpădului lui!

Do not enter the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; do not gloat over his disaster in the day of his calamity; do not loot his wealth in the day of his calamity.

Ne állj az útkereszteződésbe, hogy elveszítsd a menekülőket, és ne ejtsd el a szorongattatás napján azokat, akik megmaradtak belőle!

A résre se állj fel menekülőit elveszíteni; és ne áruld el az ő megmaradottait a szorongattatás napján!

Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress.

Nu trebuia să stai la răspântii, ca să nimiceşti pe fugarii lui, şi nici nu trebuia să dai în mâna vrăjmaşului pe cei ce scăpaseră din el în ziua necazului!

Do not stand at the crossroads to cut off his fugitives; do not hand over his survivors in the day of distress.

Mert közel van az ÚR napja minden nép ellen. Ahogyan te cselekedtél, úgy cselekszenek veled is; visszaszáll fejedre az, amit tettél.

Mert közel van az Úrnak napja minden népek ellen. A mint cselekedtél, úgy cselekesznek veled; a mit te fizettél, visszaszáll fejedre.

For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

Căci ziua Domnului este aproape pentru toate neamurile. Cum ai făcut, aşa ţi se va face; faptele tale se vor întoarce asupra capului tău.

For the day of the LORD is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your deeds shall return on your own head.

Mert ahogyan ti szent hegyemen ittatok, úgy iszik majd szüntelenül minden nép. Bizony fulladásig isznak, és olyanok lesznek, mintha nem is lettek volna.

Mert a mint ti ittatok szent hegyemen, úgy isznak szüntelen az összes népek; bizony isznak és hörpengetnek, és olyanok lesznek, mintha nem lettek volna.

For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

Căci, după cum aţi băut paharul mâniei, voi cei de pe muntele Meu cel sfânt, tot aşa toate neamurile îl vor bea necurmat; vor bea, vor sorbi din el şi vor fi ca şi când n-ar fi fost niciodată.

For as you have drunk on my holy mountain, so all the nations shall drink continually; they shall drink and swallow, and shall be as though they had never been.

De a Sion hegyén szabadulás lesz, és szent lesz az; Jákób háza pedig birtokba veszi örökségét.

De a Sion hegyén szabadulás lészen, és szentté lészen az, és a Jákób háza birtokba veszi az ő örökségét.

But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

Dar mântuirea va fi pe muntele Sionului, el va fi sfânt, şi casa lui Iacov îşi va lua înapoi moşiile.

But in Mount Zion there shall be those who escape, and it shall be holy, and the house of Jacob shall possess their own possessions.

Jákób háza tűz lesz, József háza láng, Ézsau háza pedig pozdorja. Meggyújtják és megemésztik őket, nem marad meg senki Ézsau házából, mert az ÚR szólt.

És a Jákób háza tűz lészen, és a József háza láng; az Ézsau háza pedig pozdorja; és meggyújtják és megemésztik őket, és nem marad meg senki Ézsau házából, mert az Úr szólott.

And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.

Casa lui Iacov va fi un foc, şi casa lui Iosif, o flacără; dar casa lui Esau va fi miriştea pe care o vor aprinde şi o vor mistui; şi nu va mai rămâne niciunul din casa lui Esau, căci Domnul a vorbit!

The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau stubble; they shall burn them and consume them, and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau, for the LORD has spoken.

A déliek birtokba veszik Ézsau hegyét, a síkságon lakók pedig a filiszteusok földjét. Birtokba veszik Efraim és Samária területeit, Benjámint meg Gileádot.

A déliek örökség szerint bírják az Ézsau hegyét, a síkon lakók pedig a Filiszteusokat. És örökség szerint bírják az Efraim mezőit és Samaria mezőit; Benjámin pedig a Gileádot.

And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.

Cei de la miazăzi vor stăpâni muntele lui Esau, şi cei din câmpie, ţara filistenilor; vor stăpâni şi ţinutul lui Efraim şi al Samariei; şi Beniamin va stăpâni Galaadul.

Those of the Negeb shall possess Mount Esau, and those of the Shephelah shall possess the land of the Philistines; they shall possess the land of Ephraim and the land of Samaria, and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.

Izráel fiainak ez a száműzött serege birtokba veszi Kánaán földjét Sareptáig, a Jeruzsálemből való száműzöttek pedig, akik Szefáradban vannak, elfoglalják majd a déli városokat.

Izráel fiainak ez a száműzött serege azokat, a melyek a Kananeusoké, mind Sarfátig; a jeruzsálemi száműzöttek pedig, a kik Szefarádban vannak, elfoglalják majd a déli városokat.

And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.

Dar prinşii de război ai acestei oştiri a copiilor lui Israel vor stăpâni ţara canaaniţilor până la Sarepta, şi prinşii de război ai Ierusalimului care sunt la Sefarad vor stăpâni cetăţile de miazăzi.

The exiles of this host of the people of Israel shall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad shall possess the cities of the Negeb.

Szabadítók mennek föl Sion hegyére, hogy megítéljék Ézsau hegyét, és az ÚRé lesz a királyság.

És a Sion hegyére szabadítók mennek fel, hogy megítéljék az Ézsau hegyét; és az Úré lesz a királyság.

And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.

Izbăvitorii se vor sui pe muntele Sionului ca să judece muntele lui Esau. Dar împărăţia va fi a Domnului.”

Saviors shall go up to Mount Zion to rule Mount Esau, and the kingdom shall be the LORD’s.
