Szeretteim, ne higgyetek minden léleknek, hanem vizsgáljátok meg a lelkeket, hogy Istentől vannak-e, mert sok hamis próféta jött ki a világba.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Preaiubiţilor, să nu daţi crezare oricărui duh; ci să cercetaţi duhurile, dacă sunt de la Dumnezeu; căci în lume au ieşit mulţi proroci mincinoşi.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Erről ismeritek meg az Isten Lelkét: amelyik lélek Jézust testben megjelent Krisztusnak vallja, az Istentől van;

Erről ismerjétek meg az Isten Lelkét: valamely lélek Jézust testben megjelent Krisztusnak vallja, az Istentől van;

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

Duhul lui Dumnezeu să-L cunoaşteţi după aceasta: orice duh care mărturiseşte că Isus Hristos a venit în trup este de la Dumnezeu;

By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

és amelyik lélek nem tesz vallást Jézusról, az nincs Istentől, és az az antikrisztus, amelyről hallottátok, hogy eljön, és már most a világban van.

És valamely lélek nem vallja Jézust testben megjelent Krisztusnak, nincsen az Istentől: és az az antikrisztus [lelke,] a melyről hallottátok, hogy eljő; és most e világban van már.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

şi orice duh care nu mărturiseşte pe Isus nu este de la Dumnezeu, ci este duhul lui Antihrist, de a cărui venire aţi auzit. El chiar este în lume acum.

and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

Gyermekeim, ti Istentől vagytok, és legyőztétek őket, mert nagyobb az, aki bennetek van, mint az, aki a világban van.

Ti az Istentől vagytok fiacskáim, és legyőztétek azokat; mert nagyobb az, a ki bennetek van, mint az, a ki e világban van.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Voi, copilaşilor, sunteţi din Dumnezeu; şi i-aţi biruit, pentru că Cel ce este în voi este mai mare decât cel ce este în lume.

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Ők a világból valók, azért a világ szerint szólnak, és a világ hallgat rájuk.

Azok a világból valók; azért a világ szerint beszélnek, és a világ hallgat rájok.

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

Ei sunt din lume; de aceea vorbesc ca din lume, şi lumea îi ascultă.

They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.

Mi Istentől vagyunk: aki ismeri Istent, az hallgat ránk, aki nem Istentől van, az nem hallgat ránk. Erről ismerjük meg az igazság lelkét és a tévelygés lelkét.

Mi az Istentől vagyunk: a ki ismeri az Istent, hallgat reánk, a ki nincsen az Istentől, nem hallgat reánk. Erről ismerjük meg az igazságnak lelkét és a tévelygésnek lelkét.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Noi însă suntem din Dumnezeu; cine cunoaşte pe Dumnezeu ne ascultă; cine nu este din Dumnezeu nu ne ascultă. Prin aceasta cunoaştem Duhul adevărului şi duhul rătăcirii.

We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Szeretteim, szeressük egymást, mert a szeretet Istentől van, és mindaz, aki szeret, Istentől született, és ismeri Istent.

Szeretteim, szeressük egymást: mert a szeretet az Istentől van; és mindaz, a ki szeret, az Istentől született, és ismeri az Istent.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Preaiubiţilor, să ne iubim unii pe alţii; căci dragostea este de la Dumnezeu. Şi oricine iubeşte este născut din Dumnezeu şi cunoaşte pe Dumnezeu.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

Aki nem szeret, nem ismerte meg Istent, mert Isten szeretet.

A ki nem szeret, nem ismerte meg az Istent; mert az Isten szeretet.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Cine nu iubeşte n-a cunoscut pe Dumnezeu; pentru că Dumnezeu este dragoste.

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Abban nyilvánult meg Isten irántunk való szeretete, hogy az ő egyszülött Fiát küldte el Isten a világra, hogy éljünk általa.

Az által lett nyilvánvalóvá az Isten szeretete bennünk, hogy az ő egyszülött Fiát elküldte az Isten e világra, hogy éljünk általa.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Dragostea lui Dumnezeu faţă de noi s-a arătat prin faptul că Dumnezeu a trimis în lume pe singurul Său Fiu, ca noi să trăim prin El.

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

Nem abban van a szeretet, hogy mi szerettük Istent, hanem hogy ő szeretett minket, és elküldte az ő Fiát engesztelő áldozatul a mi bűneinkért.

Nem abban van a szeretet, hogy mi szerettük az Istent, hanem hogy ő szeretett minket, és elküldte az ő Fiát engesztelő áldozatul a mi bűneinkért.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Şi dragostea stă nu în faptul că noi am iubit pe Dumnezeu, ci în faptul că El ne-a iubit pe noi şi a trimis pe Fiul Său ca jertfă de ispăşire pentru păcatele noastre.

In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Preaiubiţilor, dacă astfel ne-a iubit Dumnezeu pe noi, trebuie să ne iubim şi noi unii pe alţii.

Istent soha senki nem látta: ha szeretjük egymást, Isten bennünk marad, és az ő szeretete teljessé lett bennünk.

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Nimeni n-a văzut vreodată pe Dumnezeu; dacă ne iubim unii pe alţii, Dumnezeu rămâne în noi, şi dragostea Lui a ajuns desăvârşită în noi.

No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

Arról ismerjük meg, hogy benne maradunk, és ő mibennünk, hogy a maga Lelkéből adott nekünk.

Erről ismerjük meg, hogy benne maradunk és ő mibennünk; mert a maga Lelkéből adott minékünk.

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

Cunoaştem că rămânem în El şi că El rămâne în noi prin faptul că ne-a dat din Duhul Său.

By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Şi noi am văzut şi mărturisim că Tatăl a trimis pe Fiul ca să fie Mântuitorul lumii.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

Aki vallja, hogy Jézus az Isten Fia, Isten megmarad abban, és ő is Istenben.

A ki vallja, hogy Jézus az Istennek Fia, az Isten megmarad abban, és ő [is] az Istenben.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Cine va mărturisi că Isus este Fiul lui Dumnezeu, Dumnezeu rămâne în el, şi el în Dumnezeu.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

És mi megismertük és elhittük Isten irántunk való szeretetét. Isten szeretet, és aki a szeretetben marad, az Istenben marad, és Isten is őbenne.

És mi megismertük és elhittük az Istennek irántunk való szeretetét. Az Isten szeretet; és a ki a szeretetben marad, az Istenben marad, és az Isten [is] ő benne.

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Şi noi am cunoscut şi am crezut dragostea pe care o are Dumnezeu faţă de noi. Dumnezeu este dragoste; şi cine rămâne în dragoste rămâne în Dumnezeu, şi Dumnezeu rămâne în el.

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

Azzal lesz teljessé a szeretet közöttünk, hogy bizodalmunk van az ítélet napjához, mert amint ő van, úgy vagyunk mi is e világban.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Cum este El, aşa suntem şi noi în lumea aceasta; astfel se face că dragostea este desăvârşită în noi, pentru ca să avem deplină încredere în ziua judecăţii.

By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.

A szeretetben nincs félelem, sőt a teljes szeretet kiűzi a félelmet, mert a félelem gyötrelemmel jár, aki pedig fél, nem lett teljessé a szeretetben.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

În dragoste nu este frică; ci dragostea desăvârşită izgoneşte frica; pentru că frica are cu ea pedeapsa; şi cine se teme n-a ajuns desăvârşit în dragoste.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Mi azért szeretjük őt, mert ő előbb szeretett minket.

Mi szeressük őt; mert ő előbb szeretett minket!

We love him, because he first loved us.

Noi Îl iubim, pentru că El ne-a iubit întâi.

We love because he first loved us.

Ha valaki azt mondja: „Szeretem Istent”, és gyűlöli a maga testvérét, hazug az, mert aki nem szereti a maga testvérét, akit lát, hogyan szeretheti Istent, akit nem lát?

Ha azt mondja valaki, hogy: Szeretem az Istent, és gyűlöli a maga atyjafiát, hazug az: mert a ki nem szereti a maga atyjafiát, a kit lát, hogyan szeretheti az Istent, a kit nem lát?

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Dacă zice cineva: „Eu iubesc pe Dumnezeu”, şi urăşte pe fratele său, este un mincinos; căci, cine nu iubeşte pe fratele său, pe care-l vede, cum poate să iubească pe Dumnezeu, pe care nu-L vede?

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Azt a parancsolatot is kaptuk tőle, hogy aki szereti Istent, szeresse a maga testvérét is.

Az a parancsolatunk is van ő tőle, hogy a ki szereti az Istent, szeresse a maga atyjafiát is.

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

Şi aceasta este porunca pe care o avem de la El: cine iubeşte pe Dumnezeu iubeşte şi pe fratele său.

And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
