Őrhelyemre állok, megállok a bástyán, és figyelek, hogy lássam, mit szól hozzám, és én mit feleljek panaszom dolgában.

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

M-am dus la locul meu de strajă şi stăteam pe turn ca să veghez şi să văd ce are să-mi spună Domnul şi ce-mi va răspunde la plângerea mea.

I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.

Így felelt nekem az ÚR: Írd le ezt a látomást, és vésd táblákra, hogy könnyen olvasható legyen.

És felele nékem az Úr, és mondá: Írd fel [e] látomást, és vésd táblákra, hogy könnyen olvasható legyen.

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Domnul mi-a răspuns şi a zis: „Scrie prorocia şi sap-o pe table, ca să se poată citi uşor!

And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.

Mert ez a látomás bizonyos időre szól, de a vége felé siet, és nem csal meg. Ha késik is, várjál rá, mert bizonnyal eljön, nem marad el!

Mert e látomás bizonyos időre [szól,] de vége felé siet és meg nem csal; ha késik is, bízzál benne; mert eljön, el fog jőni, nem marad el!

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Căci este o prorocie a cărei vreme este hotărâtă, se apropie de împlinire şi nu va minţi; dacă zăboveşte, aşteapt-o, căci va veni şi se va împlini negreşit.

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Íme, a fölfuvalkodott embernek nem igaz a lelke, de az igaz a hite által él.

Ímé, felfuvalkodott, nem igaz ő benne az ő lelke; az igaz pedig az ő hite által él.

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Iată, i s-a îngâmfat sufletul, nu este fără prihană în el; dar cel neprihănit va trăi prin credinţa lui.

“Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.

Bizony, a bor is megcsal: fölgerjed a férfi, és nem marad nyugton. Kitátja torkát, mint a sír, olyan telhetetlen, mint a halál: magához ragad minden népet, és magához gyűjt minden nemzetet.

És bizony, a bor is megcsal: felgerjed a férfiú és nincsen nyugalma; ő, a ki tátja száját, mint a Seol, és olyan ő, mint a halál: telhetetlen, és magához ragad minden népet és magához csatol minden nemzetet.

Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:

Ca şi cel beat şi semeţ, cel mândru nu stă linişit; ci îşi lărgeşte gura ca Locuinţa morţilor, este nesăţios ca moartea, aşa că pe toate neamurile vrea să le strângă la el şi toate popoarele le trage la el.

“Moreover, wine is a traitor, an arrogant man who is never at rest. His greed is as wide as Sheol; like death he has never enough. He gathers for himself all nations and collects as his own all peoples.”

Nem költenek-e ezek mindnyájan példázatot róla és ilyen mondásokat: Jaj annak, aki rakásra gyűjti, ami nem az övé! De meddig? És annak is, aki más zálogával gazdagítja magát!

Avagy nem költenek-é ezek mindnyájan példabeszédet róla, és találós mesét reá, mondván: Jaj annak, a ki rakásra gyűjti, a mi nem övé! De meddig? És a ki adóssággal terheli magát!

Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!

Nu va fi el de batjocura tuturor acestora, de râs şi de pomină? Se va zice: „Vai de cel ce adună ce nu este al lui! Până când se va împovăra cu datorii?”

Shall not all these take up their taunt against him, with scoffing and riddles for him, and say, “Woe to him who heaps up what is not his own— for how long?— and loads himself with pledges!”

Nem kelnek-e föl hirtelen hitelezőid, és nem ébrednek-e föl háborgatóid? Zsákmányul esel nekik!

Avagy nem támadnak-é hirtelen, a kik téged mardossanak, és nem serkennek-é fel, a kik háborgassanak téged? És zsákmányul esel nékik.

Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?

Nu se vor ridica deodată cei ce te-au împrumutat? Nu se vor trezi asupritorii tăi, şi vei ajunge prada lor?

Will not your debtors suddenly arise, and those awake who will make you tremble? Then you will be spoil for them.

Mivel te sok nemzetet kifosztottál, téged is kifoszt a többi nép az emberek véréért s az országon, városon és annak minden lakosán ejtett erőszakért.

Mivelhogy kifosztogattál sok nemzetet, kifosztanak téged mind a többi népek az emberek véréért, és az országok, városok és minden bennök lakozók ellen való erőszaktételért.

Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.

Fiindcă ai jefuit multe neamuri, toată rămăşiţa popoarelor te va jefui, din pricina vărsării sângelui oamenilor, din pricina silniciilor făcute în ţară împotriva cetăţii şi împotriva tuturor locuitorilor ei.

Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you, for the blood of man and violence to the earth, to cities and all who dwell in them.

Jaj annak, aki házába bűnösen szerez javakat, hogy magasra rakhassa fészkét, és megmeneküljön a gonosz hatalmából!

Jaj annak, a ki bűnös szerzeményt szerez házának, hogy magasra rakhassa fészkét, hogy megszabadulhasson a gonosz hatalma elől.

Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!

Vai de cel ce strânge câştiguri nelegiuite pentru casa lui, ca să-şi aşeze apoi cuibul într-un loc înalt şi să scape din mâna nenorocirii!

“Woe to him who gets evil gain for his house, to set his nest on high, to be safe from the reach of harm!

Házad gyalázatára vált, amit terveztél. A sok nép kiirtásával bűnössé tetted lelkedet.

Házadnak gyalázatára tervezted a sok nép kiirtását, és bűnössé tetted lelkedet.

Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.

Ruşinea casei tale ţi-ai croit, nimicind o mulţime de popoare, şi împotriva ta însuţi ai păcătuit.

You have devised shame for your house by cutting off many peoples; you have forfeited your life.

Mert a kő is kiált ellened a falból, és a tetőgerenda válaszol neki.

Mert a kő [is ellened] kiált a falból, és a gerenda a fa-alkotmányból visszhangoz néki.

For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.

Căci piatra din mijlocul zidului strigă, şi lemnul care leagă grinda îi răspunde.

For the stone will cry out from the wall, and the beam from the woodwork respond.

Jaj annak, aki vérengzéssel épít várost, és aki álnoksággal emel várat!

Jaj annak, a ki várost épít vérengzéssel, és a ki várat emel álnoksággal.

Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!

Vai de cel ce zideşte o cetate cu sânge, care întemeiază o cetate cu nelegiuire!

“Woe to him who builds a town with blood and founds a city on iniquity!

Hát nem a Seregek URától van-e az, hogy a népek a tűznek munkálkodnak, és a nemzetek a hiábavalóságnak fáradoznak?

Avagy ímé, nem a Seregek Urától van-é ez, hogy a népek tűznek építenek, és a nemzetek a hiábavalóságnak fáradoznak?

Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?

Iată, când Domnul oştirilor a hotărât lucrul acesta, popoarele se ostenesc pentru foc, şi neamurile se trudesc degeaba.

Behold, is it not from the LORD of hosts that peoples labor merely for fire, and nations weary themselves for nothing?

De majd megtelik a föld az ÚR dicsőségének ismeretével, ahogyan a tengert a víz betölti.

Mert az Úr dicsőségének ismeretével betelik a föld, a miképen a folyamok megtöltik a tengert.

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Căci pământul va fi plin de cunoştinţa slavei Domnului ca fundul mării de apele care-l acoperă.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

Jaj annak, aki leitatja felebarátját, mérget kever italába, hogy lerészegítse őt, és láthassa mezítelenségét!

Jaj annak, a ki megitatja felebarátját, epédet keverve belé, hogy megrészegítsed őt, hogy láthassad az ő szemérmöket!

Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!

Vai de cel ce dă aproapelui său să bea, vai de tine care îi torni băutură spumoasă şi-l ameţeşti ca să-i vezi goliciunea!

“Woe to him who makes his neighbors drink— you pour out your wrath and make them drunk, in order to gaze at their nakedness!

Gyalázattal telsz meg dicsőség helyett. Neked is innod kell, és meglátszik körülmetéletlenséged, ha feléd fordul az ÚR jobbjának pohara, és gyalázat borítja el dicsőségedet.

Gyalázattal telsz meg dicsőség helyett; igyál te is és láttassék szemérmed; reád fordul az Úr jobbjának pohara, és gyalázat [borítja] [el] dicsőségedet.

Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.

Te vei sătura de ruşine în loc de slavă; bea şi tu şi dezveleşte-te! Îţi va veni şi ţie rândul să iei paharul din dreapta Domnului şi va veni ruşinea peste slava ta.

You will have your fill of shame instead of glory. Drink, yourself, and show your uncircumcision! The cup in the LORD’s right hand will come around to you, and utter shame will come upon your glory!

Bizony a Libánon elleni erőszakoskodás elborít téged, és a vadak pusztítása rettegésedre lesz az emberek véréért s az országon, városon és annak minden lakosán ejtett erőszakért.

Bizony, a libanoni erőszakoskodás [gyászba] borít téged, és a vadak pusztítása, a mely rettegteté őket, az emberek véréért és az országon, a városon és annak minden lakosán űzött erőszakosságért.

For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.

Căci silniciile făcute împotriva Libanului vor cădea asupra ta, şi pustiirile fiarelor te vor îngrozi, pentru vărsarea sângelui oamenilor şi silniciile făcute în ţară împotriva cetăţii şi împotriva tuturor locuitorilor ei.

The violence done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, as will the destruction of the beasts that terrified them, for the blood of man and violence to the earth, to cities and all who dwell in them.

Mit használ a faragott bálvány, amelyet alkotója faragott ki? Vagy az öntött bálványszobor, amely hazugságot tanít? Készítője bízhat-e azokban, amikor csak néma bálványokat készített?

Mit használ a faragott kép, hogy a faragója kifaragta azt? vagy az öntött kép és a mely hazugságot tanít, hogy a képnek faragója bízik abban, csinálván néma bálványokat?

What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?

La ce ar putea folosi un chip cioplit, pe care-l ciopleşte lucrătorul? La ce ar putea folosi un chip turnat care învaţă pe oameni minciuni, pentru ca lucrătorul care l-a făcut să-şi pună încrederea în el, pe când el făureşte numai nişte idoli muţi?

“What profit is an idol when its maker has shaped it, a metal image, a teacher of lies? For its maker trusts in his own creation when he makes speechless idols!

Jaj annak, aki a fának azt mondja: „Kelj föl!”, a néma kőnek pedig azt, hogy „Ébredj föl!”. Vajon taníthat-e az? Íme, arany és ezüst borítja, de egyáltalán nincs benne lélek!

Jaj annak, aki fának mondja: Serkenj fel! néma kőnek: Ébredj fel! Taníthat-é ez? Ímé, borítva van aranynyal és ezüsttel, lélek pedig nincs benne semmi!

Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.

Vai de cel ce zice lemnului: „Scoală-te”, şi unei pietre mute: „Trezeşte-te!” Poate ea să dea învăţătură? Iată că este împodobită cu aur şi argint, dar în ea nu este un duh care s-o însufleţească.

Woe to him who says to a wooden thing, Awake; to a silent stone, Arise! Can this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in it.

De az ÚR ott van szent templomában, hallgasson el előtte az egész föld!

Ellenkezőleg az Úr az ő szent templomában, hallgasson előtte az egész föld!

But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

Domnul însă este în Templul Lui cel sfânt. Tot pământul să tacă înaintea Lui!”

But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him.”
