A presbiter a kiválasztott úrnőnek és gyermekeinek, akiket igazán szeretek, és nemcsak én, hanem mindenki, aki megismerte az igazságot,

A presbiter a kiválasztott asszonynak és az ő gyermekeinek, a kiket én igazán szeretek, és nem csak én, hanem mindenki, a ki megismerte az igazságot.

The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;

Prezbiterul, către aleasa Doamnă şi către copiii ei, pe care-i iubesc în adevăr – şi nu numai eu, ci toţi cei ce cunosc adevărul –

The elder to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all who know the truth,

az igazságért, amely megmarad bennünk, és velünk lesz mindörökké:

For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

pentru adevărul acesta care rămâne în noi şi care va fi cu noi în veac:

because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us forever:

Kegyelem, irgalom, békesség legyen veletek az Atya Istentől és az Úr Jézus Krisztustól, az Atya Fiától igazsággal és szeretettel.

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Harul, îndurarea şi pacea să fie cu voi din partea lui Dumnezeu Tatăl şi din partea Domnului Isus Hristos, Fiul Tatălui, în adevăr şi în dragoste!

Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father’s Son, in truth and love.

Nagyon örültem, hogy olyanokat találtam gyermekeid között, akik igazságban járnak, amint parancsolatot vettünk az Atyától.

I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

M-am bucurat foarte mult când am aflat pe unii din copiii tăi umblând în adevăr, după porunca pe care am primit-o de la Tatăl.

I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father.

És most kérlek téged, úrnőm, nem mintha új parancsolatot írnék neked, hanem mint amely kezdettől fogva megvolt nálunk, hogy szeressük egymást.

És most kérlek téged, Asszonyom, nem mintha új parancsolatot írnék néked, hanem, a melyet kezdettől fogva vettünk, hogy szeressük egymást!

And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

Şi acum, te rog, Doamnă, nu ca şi cum ţi-aş scrie o poruncă nouă, ci cea pe care am avut-o de la început: să ne iubim unii pe alţii!

And now I ask you, dear lady—not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another.

A szeretet pedig az, hogy az ő parancsolatai szerint járunk. Ez tehát a parancsolat, mint ahogy kezdettől fogva hallottátok, hogy abban járjatok.

És ez a szeretet, hogy járjunk az ő parancsolatai szerint. Ez a parancsolat, a mint kezdettől fogva hallottátok, hogy abban járjatok.

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Şi dragostea stă în vieţuirea după poruncile Lui. Aceasta este porunca în care trebuie să umblaţi, după cum aţi auzit de la început.

And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.

Mert sok hitető jött erre a világra, akik nem vallják Jézust testben eljött Krisztusnak. Ez a hitető és az antikrisztus.

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Căci în lume s-au răspândit mulţi amăgitori, care nu mărturisesc că Isus Hristos vine în trup. Iată amăgitorul, iată Antihristul!

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.

Vigyázzatok magatokra, hogy el ne veszítsétek azt, amiért munkálkodtatok, hanem teljes jutalmat kapjatok.

Vigyázzatok magatokra, hogy el ne veszítsük, a mit munkáltunk, hanem teljes jutalmat nyerjünk.

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Păziţi-vă bine să nu pierdeţi rodul muncii voastre, ci să primiţi o răsplată deplină.

Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.

Aki túlmegy a Krisztus tanításán, és nem marad abban, annak nincs Istene, aki megmarad az ő tanításában, azé az Atya is, és a Fiú is.

A ki félrelép és nem marad meg a Krisztus tudománya mellett, annak egynek sincs Istene. A ki megmarad a Krisztus tudománya mellett, mind az Atya, mind a Fiú az övé.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Oricine o ia înainte, şi nu rămâne în învăţătura lui Hristos, n-are pe Dumnezeu. Cine rămâne în învăţătura aceasta are pe Tatăl şi pe Fiul.

Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

Ha valaki hozzátok megy, és nem ezt a tanítást viszi, ne fogadjátok be házatokba, és ne köszöntsétek,

Ha valaki elmegy hozzátok és nem ezt a tudományt viszi, ne fogadjátok azt be házatokba, és azt ne köszöntsétek;

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Dacă vine cineva la voi, şi nu vă aduce învăţătura aceasta, să nu-l primiţi în casă şi să nu-i ziceţi: „Bun venit!”

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting,

mert aki köszönti, közösséget vállal az ő gonosz cselekedeteivel.

For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Căci cine-i zice: „Bun venit!”, se face părtaş faptelor lui rele.

for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.

Sok írnivalóm volna nektek, de nem akartam papíron és tintával írni, hanem remélem, hogy elmegyek hozzátok, és szemtől szembe beszélhetünk, hogy örömünk teljes legyen.

Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

Aş avea să vă spun multe lucruri; dar nu voiesc să vi le scriu pe hârtie şi cu cerneală; ci nădăjduiesc să vin la voi şi să vă vorbesc gură către gură, pentru ca bucuria noastră să fie deplină.

Though I have much to write to you, I would rather not use paper and ink. Instead I hope to come to you and talk face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
